1. 제품 소개
WizFi630은 RS-232 프로토콜과 TCP/IP 프로토콜을 IEEE802.11 b/g/n 무선 랜 프로토콜로 변환시키는
게이트웨이 모듈로, RS-232 시리얼 인터페이스가 장착된 장비를 LAN 또는 WLAN 망에 연결하여 원격
측정, 관리 및 제어를 가능케 하는 제품이다. 또한 Embedded Switch를 내장하고 있어 IP
공유기로서의 기능도 수행한다.
Serial(UART), LAN, Wi-Fi(WLAN)로 이루어진 인터페이스들을 이용하여, Serial(UART)-To-Wi-Fi, Serial-To-
Ethernet, Ethernet-To-Wi-Fi 등의 기능을 수행할 수가 있다. 또한 WizFi630에 내장된 웹 서버에
접속하거나 시리얼 명령어를 이용해서도 손쉽게 설정이 가능해서, 시리얼 장비뿐 만 아니라,
8/16/32비트 마이크로 컨트롤러에서도 UART를 통해 쉽게 Wi-Fi 설정을 할 수 있다.
WizFi630을 이용하면 무선 모듈 디자인이나 테스트, 인증 등의 과정을 획기적으로 감소시킬 수 있다.
따라서, 무선 네트워크 경험이 전혀 없거나 제한적인 고객들에게도 최선의 솔루션이 될 수 있다.
WizFi630은 802.11b/g/n 규격을 따르면서, 무선 인터페이스에서 150Mbps의 속도까지 지원한다.
WizFi630은 편리한 테스트 보드와 함께 손쉬운 테스트를 위한 PC 소프트웨어와 문서를 제공하므로
누구든 쉽게 무선 솔루션을 개발 할 수 있는 환경을 제공한다.

2. 운영 모드 및메뉴 설명
2.1. 운영 모드
사용 목적에 따라 운용 모드를 선택한다.
공장 출하 시, 기본 설정 값은 AP Mode(DHCP Server Enabled) 이다.
AP Mode 시, DHCP Server는 Disable 상태가 기본이나 테스트의 편의성을 위하여 공장 출하
시에는 DHCP Server를 Enable 한다.
2.1.1. 액세스 포인트 모드
유선 인터페이스와 무선 인터페이스를 하나의 bridge로 묶는다. 유선/무선 인터페이스는 상위 망과
같은 IP 주소 영역을 가진다. DHCP Server기능은 disable되어 WizFi630는 IP를 할당해 주지 않는다.
WizFi630는 주기적으로 Broadcast Packet을 전송하여 Station과의 연결을 유지시켜 준다.

2.1.2. 게이트웨이 모드
인터넷 공유기 모드로 동작을 한다. WAN 인터페이스(상위 인터넷 사업자 망), LAN 인터페이스 (하위
사설망: 192.168.16.xxx), 무선 인터페이스(하위 사설망:192.168.16.xxx)로 구분되며, Port #0가 WAN
Port로 지정된다. WizFi630는 주기적으로 Broadcast Packet을 전송하여 Station과의 연결을 유지시켜
준다.
2.1.3. 클라이언트(스테이션)
무선 인터페이스를 WAN Port로 하고 모든 Ethernet Port들을 LAN Port로 묶는 것이다. 프로파일을
설정하면, 다음 부팅 시에 설정된 무선 AP로 자동적으로 연결한다. LAN 포트를 통해 연결된 장비는
사설 IP를 할당 받는다. 상위의 AP(Gateway)로 주기적으로 PING Packet을 전송하여 AP에서 무선
연결을 끊는 것을 방지한다.

2.1.4. AP-Client 모드
무선 인터페이스를 WAN Port로 하고, 무선 인터페이스와 모든 Ethernet Port들을 LAN Port로 묶는
것이다. Station Mode와 비슷하지만, 가장 큰 차이점은 무선 인터페이스가 AP와 Client(Station)기능을
동시에 한다는 것이다. WizFi630는 주기적으로 Broadcast Packet을 전송하여 Station과의 연결을
유지시켜 준다.
2.1.5. 애드혹(ad-hoc) 모드
Gateway Mode와 비슷하며, 무선 인터페이스가 ad-hoc으로 동작하여 Station과 Point-to-Point로
연결된다. LAN Port와 무선 인터페이스 (ad-hoc)간은 통신이 안 된다

2.2.4. AP-Client 모드
위의 Gateway Mode 설정과 많은 부분이 동일하다.
아래 그림 부분만이 AP-Client Mode에 추가된다.
하나의 모듈이 AP와 Station 기능을 동시에 동작한다.
무선 모듈이 주변의 다른 AP로 접속한 후 WAN 포트의 기능을 한다.
접속하고자 하는 AP의 채널과 반드시 동일해야 하고, 만약 접속하고자 하는 AP의 채널이
변경되면 WizFi630의 채널도 변경해야 한다.
설정에 따라 무선은 단순 무선 브릿지 기능을 하기도 한다.
