The WMFCup&Cool is acombination of
acup rack and acooler.
Cups, coffee mugs and coffee pot are
heated and stored ready for use in the
cup rack.
The stainless steel shelves are
antifingerprint-coated.
Follow the User Manual
> Read the User Manual carefully prior to use.
> Please refer to the User Manual, paying
special attention to the safety instructions
and Safety chapter.
> Follow the warning instructions on the coffee
machine and the device.
> Ensure that the staff and all users have access
to the User Manual.
Hazard to life due
to electrical shock
• The voltage inside the device and the coffee
machine is ahazard to life.
> Never open the housing.
> Never loosen the screws, and do not remove
any housing parts.
Conditions for use and installation
• In the event of failure to comply with
maintenance information and the specifi-
cations in the Technical Data chapter, no
liability is accepted for any resultant damage.
> Follow the User Manual.
> Commissioning, maintenance and repair
work are only to be carried out by the
WMFService, using original spare parts.
The cooler is used for hygienic storage
and cooling of milk for preparation of
coffee beverages made with milk, such
as cappuccino or milk coffee. Milk is
supplied directly from the cooler to the
coffee machine via the milk hose.

1 Safety
Misuse
• Failure to follow the safety
instructions can result in death or
serious injury.
> Follow all the safety instructions.
Risk of explosion
> Do not store any explosive
materials, such as containers with
flammable aerosol propellants, in
this device.
> Refrain from storing or using petrol
or other flammable liquids or gases
in the vicinity of this or other units.
The gases may present afire hazard
and can explode.
> Do not use electrical appliances in
the cooler.
1.1 General safety instructions
Hazards to the operator
At WMF, safety is one of the most essential
product features. The effectiveness of
safety devices can only be ensured if the
following points are observed:

> Do not use the device if it is not
working properly or if it is damaged.
> Use the device only when it is
completely assembled.
> Read the User Manual carefully

> Built-in safety devices must never
be altered.
> This device can be used by children
of age 8years or older while under
continuous supervision, as well as
by persons with reduced physical,
sensory, or mental capabilities or
lack of experience or knowledge,
once they have been instructed in
the safe use of the machine and the
risks associated with it.
> Children must not play with the
device.
> Cleaning and user maintenance
must not be performed by children.

A device poses apotential for hazard when
correctly used, despite the use of safety
devices. Please observe the following
instructions when using the device to
prevent injury and health hazards:
Hazard to life due
to electrical shock
• The voltage inside the device and
the coffee machine is ahazard to
life.
> Never open the housing.
> Never loosen the screws, and do not
remove any housing parts.
> Avoid damage to the mains cable.
Do not kink or crush it.
> Never use adamaged mains cable.
Adamaged mains cable must be
replaced by the manufacturer or
aservice representative in order to
prevent ahazard.
> Never immerse the mains plug in
water or other liquids. Never pour
water or other liquids over the
mains plug. Always keeps the mains
plug dry.

> Wait until the mains cable has been
unplugged from the mains before
disconnecting the plug from the
rear of the device.
> Disconnect coffee machine from the
mains supply prior to maintenance
and repair work. Pull out the plug
to do so. The person performing the
maintenance or repair must always
be able to check, with aclear line
of sight, that the power supply has
been disconnected.
Burn hazard
• The stainless steel shelves become
hot.
> Allow stainless steel shelves to cool
before cleaning.
Risk of injury
• If the cups are not put in carefully
the glass side walls may be chipped.
> Please put the cups in carefully.

> The products to be processed by
the machine must suitable for
consumption and intended for use
with the cooler.
> The cooler must only be used to
cool milk in the containers provided.
> The milk containers must only be
used for milk that is safe to drink.

• The milk system cleaner and the
cleaning tablets are irritants.
> Follow the protective measures
on the packaging of the cleaning
agent.
> Only put in acleaning tablet when
an appropriate message is displayed.

Health hazard/
irritation and scalding hazard
• During the cleaning procedure,
hotwater and hot cleaning solution
flow through the hoses and
adapters.
• Hot liquids can irritate the skin, and
the heat poses ascalding hazard.
> Never reach under the spouts while
cleaning.
> Ensure that no one ever drinks the
cleaning solution.
Scalding hazard
• If the milk aperture is clogged, the
milk hose can burst and hot water
can spray out.
• Hot water can spray out or hot
steam can come out of even
adisconnected milk hose, or directly
from the Plug&Clean.
> Always clean the milk aperture.
> Always connect the milk hoses
tightly.

Slipping hazard
• Fluids may be discharged if used
improperly or if faults occur. These
fluids can cause aslipping hazard.
> Check the unit regularly for leaks.
Make sure no water is being
released.
1.2 Intended use
Misuse
• If the device is used other than as
intended, this could lead to arisk of
injury.
> The WMFCup&Cool must only be
used as intended.
• The purpose of the WMFCup&Cool is to warm cups and to chill
milk for the coffee machine.
• This machine is intended for use in hotels, restaurants, and
similar locations. The machine may be installed in self-service
areas if aresponsible person is on location while it is being
used.

Installation location
• The machine may be used in businesses, offices, and similar
settings, hotels, motels, and bed&breakfast inns, and may be
operated by untrained personnel.
• The device must be placed and levelled on ahorizontal, sturdy,
water-resistant, and heatproof base.
• The device must not be cleaned using awater jet. The device
must be installed where it is protected against water spray.
• The device must not be located on asurface that is sprayed or
cleaned with awater hose, steam jets, steam cleaner, or similar
devices.
Ambient temperature
• Ambient temperature +16°C to amaximum of +32°C
Usage
• The use of the device is subject to this User Manual. Any other
use or use that goes beyond the aforementioned is considered
incorrect use. The manufacturer shall not be liable for any
damage resulting from this.
• Under no circumstances may the WMFCup&Cool be
used to chill liquids other than milk (chilled, pasteurised,
homogenised, UHT) and to warm cups on the stainless
steelrack.

1.3 Conditions for use and installation
Risk of fire and accidents
> The conditions for installation and
use must be met.
> The conditions for use and
installation listed in the “Technical
Data” chapter must be met.
Any necessary on-site preparatory work for connecting the
electricity at the customer‘s premises is to be arranged by the
machine owner/operator. The work must be carried out by
authorised installation technicians in compliance with general,
country-specific and local regulations.
• Only WMFService engineers are allowed to connect the coffee
machine to the pre-prepared connection points. WMFService is
neither authorised nor responsible for carrying out any on-site
installation work prior to connection.
• The device must only be connected and commissioned by
WMFService.

• The unit must have sufficient clearance from its surroundings.
• When installing the device, make sure that the mains cable is
not pinched or damaged.
• Do not put socket adapters or portable power supplies behind
the unit.
• The ventilation openings must remain open and never covered
or blocked.
• Do not damage the coolant circuit. When cleaning or
defrosting, do not use pointed or sharp objects.
• Only use original or approved identical components for
maintenance or repair.
• Maintenance is to be carried out by WMFService only.

3 Operating the Cup rack
3.1 Operation safety instructions
Risk of injury
• If the cups are not put in carefully the glass
side walls may be chipped.
> Please put the cups in carefully.
Burn hazard
• The stainless steel shelves become hot.
> Allow stainless steel shelves to cool before
cleaning.
If the cooler was not transported in astanding
position then it must be given at least 2hours to
stand in avertical position before switching on.
3.2 Switch on the cup rack
Plug in the mains plug
Switch on the cup rack using the ON/OFF switch at
the top left on the rear cover
The switch lights up in green.
The illumination (optional) is switched on using the
switch for the cup rack.
The cup rack is heated after about 60minutes.

3.3 Fill the cup rack
Please put the cups in carefully, the coating of
the stainless steel shelves can scratch.
Carefully place the desired cups, coffee mugs and
coffee pots with their openings downward in the
cup rack
3.4 Switch off the cup rack
Follow the manual
• If this is not followed, the liability is
invalidated in the event of any resultant
damage.
Switch off the cup rack using the ON/OFF switch at
the top left on the rear cover
Disconnect mains plug
The switch will no longer be lit up.

4 Operating the Cooler
4.1 Operation safety instructions
Risk of explosion
If coolant should still escape despite all
precautions:
> Do not use naked flames.
> Remove flammable objects.
> Ventilate the room immediately.
Health hazard
> The products to be processed by the machine
must suitable for consumption and intended
for use with the cooler.
> The cooler must only be used to cool milk in
the containers provided.
> The milk containers must only be used for
milk that is safe to drink.

Operating the Cooler | Switch on the cooler
4.2 Switch on the cooler
If the cooler was not transported in astanding
position then it must be given at least 2hours to
stand in avertical position before switching on.
• The cooler keeps the milk cool but cannot
cool down hot milk.
> Always use chilled milk.
> Refrain form turning off the cooler if there is
still milk in the container. Otherwise the milk
will spoil.
> Never open the door for long, otherwise the
temperature will rise and the milk will spoil.
Plug in the mains plug
Switch on the cooler using the ON/OFF switch at the
top right on the rear cover
The switch lights up in green.
The cooler reaches operating temperature after about
60minutes.
4.3 Fill the milk container
Health hazard/hygiene
• The milk container is intended exclusively for
storing milk.
> Refrain form turning off the cooler if there is
still milk in the container. Otherwise the milk
will spoil.
> Never open the door for long, otherwise the
temperature will rise and the milk will spoil.

Operating the Cooler | Fill the milk container
4.3.1 One milk type
• Insert the milk nozzle in the combi spout of
the coffee machine.
• Do not kink the milk hose.
Open the front door
Pull out the milk container
Push the milk container lid back
The milk hose remains attached.
Pour milk into the milk container
Ensure that no foreign bodies land in the hopper.
Place the lid back on the container
Push the milk container back in carefully
Close the front door
4.3.2 Two milk types (optional)
• Beverages with small amounts of milk,
e.g. for espresso macchiato, cannot be
dispensed lactose-free despite rinsing.
These are only low-lactose beverages.
• The extra rinsing increases milk and water
consumption.
• The 1st milk type is always on the right.
• You can switch to the 2nd milk type from the
coffee machine display.
• Beverage recipes using the 2nd milk type can
be stored in the coffee machine.

The milk hose remains attached.
