TheWS467WallDimmerModuleisdesignedtocontrolincandescentonlylights with a rating ofbetween40Wand
500W.Lightsratedbelow40Wmightflickeroroperateerratically.TheWS467replacesaswitchthatcontrolsand
indoororoutdoor ceiling light.Apush-buttonisprovided forlocalon/offcontrol.
WARNING:WallDimmerModules mustnot beused tocontrolappliances, orlow voltagelamps, or
fluorescentlamps.
InstallingtheWall Dimmer Module:
• Disconnectthepoweratthecircuitbreakerpanel.
• Removewallplate andunscrewtheexisting switchfromitsbox.
• RemovethetwowiresfromyouroldswitchandconnectthemtothetwowiresontheWS467usingthewirenuts
provided.Makesurenobarewhiskersofwireareprotruding,useinsulatingtapetocoverwirenuts if necessary.
• Screwtheswitchintoitswallbox(don’t replace the wall plate yet).
Settingupandoperating theWall Dimmer Module:
• Setthe House Code dial tothe same letter (A thruP) that you seton your X10 controller(s).
• SettheUnit Code dial to anunused code (1 - 16) whichcan be controlled from anyX10 controller.
• Setthepoweron-off slide switch (under the push button) to the ON (center) position. TurnthisswitchOFF(left)
whenchangingalightbulb.
• Replacethewallplate.
• Turnthe powerbackon at the circuit breaker panel.
• Pressthepushbuttontoturnthemoduleonand off.
• Youcan turn themoduleonandoffanddimandbrightenit remotely fromX10Controllers.
