Power
This product has a built-in recharge-
able battery. The player can be
inserted directly to the USB jack of a
PC for charging. Standard charging
time is about 4-5 hours.

No play operation is available dur-
ing charging. The battery should be
charged for at least 12 hours before
first use.

operate correctly and prevent
incidents, please do not
place it in extreme high or low

or where it could be splashed

Operation instructions
I. Power on
1.1. Power on
Hold PLAY for one second to turn the
device on.
1.2. Function Selection
In the main menu state, press
NEXT or PREV to select your de-
sired mode, and then press OK
to enter. The information for the
selected mode will be displayed on
the screen.
II. Detailed Applications
2.1. MUSIC Mode
In MUSIC mode, you can play MP,
WMA and WMV files, with lyric dis-
played simultaneously!

2.1.2. Music play state
2.1.2.1. Basic functions
In MUSIC standby state, press PLAY
to start playing, as follows:
PAUSE MODE:
While a song is playing, press PLAY
to pause.
Press PLAY again to resume play-
back
Press VOL+/VOL- to increase/de-
crease volume. Press NEXT/PREV to
choose the next or previous music
file. Press and hold NEXT or PREV to
fast forward/fast rewind the
current music. Press OK to enter

into MUSIC setup mode. Press and
hold MENU to exit to the main menu.
2.1.2.2. MUSIC Setting
While playing music, press OK to en-
ter MUSIC setup, shown as follows:
Move the highlight bar by press-
ing the NEXT or PREV buttons until
REPEAT is highlighted.
Enter the repeat MENU by press-
ing the OK button. Highlight your
desired repeat mode which includes
- Normal, Repeat One, Folder, Re-
peat Folder, Repeat All, Random
and Intro.
Normal: The player will cease op-
eration after playing all songs.
Repeat One: Play a single song
repeatedly.
Folder: Play all the music in the
folder once.
Repeat Folder: Play all the music in
the folder repeatedly.
Repeat All: Play all the music in the
player repeatedly.
Random: Play the music in the cur-
rent folder at random.
Intro: Play the first ten seconds of
all music.
OTHER SELECTIONS IN THE
PLAY MENU:
Equalizer Setting:
During playback, enter the play
menu by pressing the OK button.
Use the PREV & NEXT buttons to
highlight EQ mode. Press OK to
confirm and enter. The available EQ

modes are: NATURAL ROCK POP
CLASSIC SOFT JAZZ and DBB. Use
the PREV and NEXT buttons to high-
light the desired selection. Press the
OK button to confirm.
Tempo Rate Setting:
Enter the Tempo Rate setting by
a similar process to above, press
NEXT or PREV to alter the play
speed in between +8 and -8. +8
means play at the fastest speed, -8
means play at the slowest speed
and 0 is the normal play speed (This
function is only applicable to MP-
format files).
Replay:
After choosing and entering the
replay mode in the menu, “A” will
be displayed and will begin to flash.
Press the NEXT button to select the
starting point of the section you wish
to repeat. “A” will stop flashing and
“B” will begin to flash. Press NEXT
again to confirm the end of the sec-
tion you wish to repeat. The player
will begin to repeat the selected
section for the amount of cycles
selected within the
REPLAY TIMES Section.
Replay Time Setting:
Replay time determines the times
of A-B repetition before resuming
normal playback
Replay Gap Setting:
Replay gap determines the pause
time period between each repeat
cycle.
Exit: Return to the playing mode.
2.1.3 MUSIC Pause State
Firstly, Press and hold the OK button
to enter the MAIN MENU. Use the
PREV and NEXT buttons to select
MUSIC mode. Press OK to enter.

Basic Operation:
Press PLAY to play the current song
shown on the display.
Press the PREV or NEXT buttons to
choose an alternate file.
Press the PLAY button again to
PAUSE. To resume playback, Press
PLAY again.
Press and hold the NEXT or PREV
during playback to fast forward or
fast reverse.
Press VOL+/VOL- to increase/de-
crease volume by one level. Press
and hold VOL+/VOL- to fast in-
crease/decrease volume. Press OK
to enter into MUSIC deleting mode.
Press and hold OK to return to main
menu.
2.1.4. STANDBY MODE
If the player is not being used for
more than the preset power off time,
the device will automatically turn
off to save energy; or you can press
and hold the PLAY button to turn off.
MUSIC Directory Setting:
To enter the Music submenu, enter
pause mode of the current track
then Press the OK button. You may
browse the local folders in the Mp
player. Press the OK button to enter
the highlighted selection. Press
the PLAY button to return to MUSIC
Mode. The following display will
appear:
Local folder:
Choose Local folder to access the
available files or folders within the
player’s memory. Press NEXT or
PREV to highlight your desired se-
lection and press OK to enter into it.

Delete File
In Pause mode, press the OK but-
ton. Select Delete File by highlight-
ing it and pressing OK. Highlight the
file you wish to delete and press OK.
Select Delete File or Delete All then
press OK.
2.1.5 Lyric Display Instructions
This product may display lyrics on
the LCD providing you have loaded
the correct lyrics file to the player.
Lyrics files may be sourced from
the internet; however the file names
of the audio and lyric files MUST
match.
Keystroke Function
To activate the Lyric interface (cor-
rect files must be pre-loaded into
your player), press the OK button for
approx. 0.5secs (half of a second).
Holding the OK button too long will
enter the MAIN MENU Interface.
Press VOL+/VOL-: Volume up/down
for one level. Press and hold VOL+/
VOL-: Continuous volume up/down.
2.2. AMV Mode
In the main menu, choose the AMV
function state to enter into AMV
mode; the screen will show a similar
display to information in the diagram
below. If there are no AMV files
loaded in your player, the screen will
show “No Files”.
2.2.1 Playing state
In AMV standby mode press PLAY to
activate the current displayed file.

In AMV play mode:
Press VOL+/VOL- to increase/de-
crease volume by one level. Press
and hold VOL+/VOL-: Continuous
volume up/down. Press NEXT/PREV
to choose the next or previous Video
file. Press and Hold NEXT or PREV
to fast forward or rewind. Press and
hold OK to exit to main menu.
2.2.2 Pause State
While playing an AMV file, press the
PLAY button to pause.
Press PLAY again to resume play-
back.
Press and hold OK to return to main
menu.
2.2.3. Delete AMV File:
In AMV stop(or pause) state, press
OK to enter the submenu; Use the
PREV or NEXT buttons to move the
highlight bar to “Delete File”. Press
the OK button to enter delete mode.
A list of available AMV files will be
displayed. Use the PREV or NEXT
buttons to highlight the file you wish
to delete. Press OK to select. Select
“Delete File” or “Delete All” then
press OK. The delete function will be
activated.
2.3. RECORD Mode
2.3.1. Interface Instructions
There are two methods to record: 1)
via the microphone or 2) via the “line
in” input. The method of recording
can be selected in the “Settings”
submenu via the MAIN MENU.
To enter RECORD mode, go to
the MAIN MENU by pressing and
holding the OK button. Use the
PREV and NEXT Buttons to show
the RECORD menu option. Press
OK to enter. The Record screen will
be displayed (as pictured below).
Press the PLAY or RECORD button
to begin recording. Press PLAY or
RECORD at any time to pause the
recording. Press PLAY or RECORD
again to resume recording. To stop
recording, press and hold the PLAY
or RECORD button. The file will be
saved automatically.

HOW TO CHANGE THE RECORD
FILE TYPE:
When you first enter RECORD mode
option, press the OK button once to
enter the submenu. Use the PREV
or NEXT button to highlight “REC
TYPE”. Press OK. There are four
selections to choose from, they are:
Fine Rec = WAV format, High Quality
and uses more memory space.
Long Rec = WAV format, Lower
Quality and uses less memory.
Fine VOR = ACT format, High Quality
and uses more memory space.
Long VOR = ACT format, Lower
Quality and uses less memory.
Use the PREV or NEXT buttons to
highlight your selection and press
OK to confirm.
2.3.2. REC Mode messages
Recording File Full
A “memory full” message may ap-
pear on the display if one of the
following two situations occurs:
1) You have developed 99 files in
the current folder.
2) The internal memory is full.

If you have experienced any of the
above, you should:
Connect the MP player to your
computer and construct another
Folder (e.g. VOICE 2) and then be-
gin to use the new folder for storing
your recorded files. To select the
alternate destination folder, enter
the RECORD submenu by press-
ing the OK button (You must be in
the RECORD mode option and in
“pause” or “Stop” mode).
Highlight “Local Folder” using the
PREV or NEXT Buttons and press
OK. Use the PREV or NEXT buttons
to highlight the new folder and press
OK to confirm.
2.3.3. Low Battery
If the battery is too low, the system
will indicate Low Battery on the dis-
play. In this case, you should charge
the battery.
2.4. HOW TO PLAY RECORDED
FILES
Enter the MAIN MENU and use the
PREV or NEXT buttons until “VOICE”
is shown on the display. Press OK to
enter. The following will be shown on
the display:

Play VOICE
To play the current file, press PLAY.
The display will show the following:

Press PLAY again to pause. Press
PLAY to resume playback. Press and
hold PLAY to shut-down the unit.
Press the NEXT or PREV button to
play the next or previous recorded
file.
Press and hold the OK button to exit
to the main menu mode.
Delete VOICE File
This function is the same as the
delete function for MUSIC mode.
VOICE Mode messages
No Record File
It will prompt no record file if a
record file has not been stored
within the internal memory.
2.5 RADIO Mode
In order to use the RADIO mode
effectively, the earphones must be
inserted into the earphone socket.
The earphones act as an aerial to
gain radio reception. To enter RA-
DIO mode, Press and hold the OK
button to go to the MAIN MENU.
Use the PREV or NEXT buttons until
FM MODE is displayed. Press OK
to enter.
The screen will display as follows:
Press NEXT/PREV to move the
frequency pointer downwards/ up-
wards. Press and hold the PREV or
NEXT button to auto search for the
next available strong station. Press
VOL+/VOL- to volume up/down for
one level.
Press and hold VOL+/VOL- to in-
crease/decrease volume continu-
ously. Press OK to enter into FM
submenu. The selections available
are as follows:
Save: Save the current station.
Auto Search: Automatically search
the stations within the effective
bands.

Freq Mode: Activates manual search
mode. This means pushing Next or
Prev will move frequency value in
steps.
Search Station: This function allows
you to skip to each preset station
when you push NEXT or PREV.
Delete: Delete the current station.
Delete All: Delete all saved stations.
Normal Band: namely the band
87-108MHz
Fine REC: Record and save the
content from the current station in a
2K record file.
Long REC: Record the content of
the current station in a 8K record
file.
Exit: Exit the menu.
Press and hold OK to return to main
menu.
2.6. JPG VIEW MODE
To browse JPEG pictures; select
JPG VIEW Mode from the MAIN
MENU.
“No files” will flash quickly on the
screen if you do not have any
jpeg files loaded into the internal
memory.
Press NEXT or PREV to choose the
next or previous file then press PLAY
to view the photo.
Picture view OK:
Press and hold the OK button to re-
turn to the MAIN MENU. Select JPG
View and press OK. When the list
of photos is shown on the screen,
press the OK button to enter the
sub menu. The submenu has three
menu selections: local folder, Play
set and Delete File.
Local Folder Generic Storage Folder
Play Set: this selection allows you to
manually view the pictures or Auto
View (slideshow). If Auto View is se-
lected, another screen will appear to
allow you to select the time delay for
each photo (1 to 10 seconds). When

you have selected the desired delay.
Press OK to return to the list of files.
Press play to begin your slideshow.
NOTE: Do not use very large JPG
files. This will slow the processing
time of the player and limit the func-
tions.
2.7. Setting Mode
In main menu mode, choose SET-
TINGS.
The following will be displayed:
Press NEXT/PREV to highlight your
desired mode. The following items
are options within the
setting Menu.
2.7.1 Clock
The interface display as following:
Key function
Press the VOL+ key moves the
highlight cursor between the year,
month, day, hour, minute and sec-
onds.Press VOL- key to moves the
cursor in the opposite direction.
Press and hold PREV to move the
value of the highlighted number
downward
Press and hold NEXT to move the
value of the highlighted number
upward.
2.7.2 Record type.
Microphone means your device may
record files via the microphone Au-
dio Input means your device record
files from another media device via
the Line-in cord.

2.7.3 LCD set.
Darkl: This function drops the
brightness of the LCD after a set pe-
riod of time. Use this setting option
to set the time period. 0 = never off.
Black: This function turns the LCD
off after a set period of time. Use
this setting option to set the time
period. 0 = never off.
Scrsaver time: you can choose
when to turn on the screen protec-
tion in this mode.
Scrsaver pic: you can choose the
screen protection picture.
Main menu Select: you can choose
displayed pictures of the main inter-
face in this mode.
2.7.4 Power off
Press PREV/NEXT to change over
between the two modes. Press
MENU to select Off time or Sleep
time mode press PLAY to save the
setting and to exit.
Off time mode: after setting the off
time mode, the player will stop when
the set time has been reached.
Sleep time mode: it is to set up a
time that when playing track, it will
start to count down without any
other operation and it will turn off
the player when the time is up. The
time will be reset before shutting
down. (Normally one time setting)
mainly used to listening to music
before failing asleep, scope: 0-120
minutes.
2.7.5 Replay mode
Select Manual replay or Auto replay.
Manual replay means there is no
automatic pause in sentence dur-
ing repetitive reading; pause should
only be made manually. Auto replay
means there is automatic pause in
sentence during repetitive reading.
2.7.6 Memory info.
Figures here show the total capacity
of flash and the percentage of used
space.

2.7.7 Firmware version
You can find the current firmware
used by the player.
2.7.8 Exit
Exit to main menu.
2.8. E-BOOK mode
Choose E-BOOK in the main menu
to read text files. Press OK to enter.
If there is no text file in the device,
No File will be displayed. If there is a
text file in the device, the following
display will occur:
In this state:
Press PLAY to view the current file.
Press OK to enter into E-BOOK
setup mode.
Press and hold OK to return to main
menu mode.
Press NEXT /PREV to choose next/
previous file.
2.9. Game Mode
This player is provided with built-in
games. Press OK to enter into the
game mode. Press PRE or NEXT to
choose game and press OK to enter
game.
2.9.1 Box Man
Description: Put boxes correctly in
the labyrinth.
Start: Press OK to start playing.
Press PLAY to exit game.
Map: Entering into this option, you
can choose a new game or join the
next level directly.

Help: Display the help files concern-
ing to the game.
Return: Return to the game selec-
tion interface.
2.9.2 Bricks
Description: Break the wall with a
ball.
Start: Press OK to start playing.
Speed: You can adjust the game
speed in this mode.
Open Grid: Open the gridding lines
in the interface.
Close Grid: Close the gridding lines
in the interface.
Help: Display the help files concern-
ing to the game.
Return: Return to the game selec-
tion interface.
2.9.3 Win mine Search
Description: Play a sapper - clear
the field of mines.
Start: Press OK to start playing.
Line number: set the line of the
game.
Rows number: Set the rows of the
game.
Mine number: The number of land-
mines in the game is to be set in this
mode.
Help: Display the help files concern-
ing to the game.
Return: Return to the game selec-
tion interface.
2.9.4 Color bead
Description: Build lines of color
balls.
Start: Press OK to start playing.
Highest Scores: Display the highest
score of the game.
Help: Display the help files concern-
ing to the game.
Return: Return to the game selec-
tion interface.
