• This appliance complies with the recognized rules of the technology and the pertinent
safety regulations for electrical appliance.
• The main cable of this appliance cannot be replaced. If the cord or the plug is
damaged or defect, the appliance should be discarded.
• The Voltage of the power source must be same as specified on the rating plate.
• Connect the appliance only to AC current and to a socket with earthing contact.
Do not pull the cable over sharp edges, clamp it into place or allow it to hangdown.
Keep the cable away from hot and damp areas.

• Before using checks that the appliance functions properly. The
appliance should not be used if:
• The connecting cable is damaged
• The appliance shows noticeable damage
• The appliance has been dropped
• Never wind the main cable around the appliance.
• The main cable must not come into contact with hot appliance
parts and should never run between the straightening brush.
• Only insert the main cable plug to power supply when the
appliance is switched off.
• The appliance must not come into contact with flammable
material. It must also not be used near flammable material
because the straightener brush teeth reach temperature of
approx. 220˚C.
• Never cover the straightening brush teeth with any object.
• The appliance must never be switched on when the clamped
together. Ensure that the appliance is open.
• Children are not aware of the hazards of electrical appliances.
Therefore close supervision is necessary when the appliance is
used by children.
• If the appliance does not function properly
• Before cleaning and after every use
• Do not pull on the main cable and do not carry the appliance
by means of the cable.
• Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply and
allow the appliance to cool down before cleaning and
maintenance, or if faults occur during operation.
• Do not use the main cable to pull on the plug nor remove the
plug from the socket with wet hands.
WARNING
Risk of burns from the straightening plates and hot
appliance parts. Never grasp the appliance by or near
the straightening brush teeth when the appliance is on.
The straightening brush teeth can cause burns. Avoid
contact with the skin and eyes. Never transport the
appliance when hot.

• Never use the appliance with wet hands, in the bath or shower or over a
filled washbasin. If the appliance falls into the water, remove the main
cable plug immediately. When the appliance is used in a bathroom,
unplug it after use.
• After use, or if pausing for a significant length of time, unplug it and let
the appliance cool down.
• Protect the appliance away from moisture. Never put it into the
dishwasher. Never immerse it in water.

GETTING STARTED
Switching on the appliance
• Connect the appliance into the power supply (100-240V AC) and
switch on the appliance using the ON-OFF button for press it during
2 seconds. The display screen will be showing the default setting
temperature.
WARNING: Risk of burning your hair if selected temperature is too high!
Depending on your hair to select the suitable temperature by the
temperature up button”+” & temperature down button “-“,
the wrongly selected temperature or improper use of the hair straightener
puts your hair at risk of drying out or in the worst case burning.
Please keep pressing “Temperature up” to unlock the system before
switch off the appliance
Higher temperature settings are reached in just a few
seconds, a reduction of temperature setting take effect
more slowly.

• 140˚C, 150˚C, 160˚C-170˚C, 180˚C,…… MAX.(220˚C)
• If press temperature up button”+”, the pertinent temperature will
be showed on the display screen and flickering, it would be stop
when the straightening brush teeth temperature are reached.
• If press temperature control down “-“, the pertinent temperature
will be showed on the display screen and flickering, it would be
stop when the straightening brush teeth temperature are reached.
• Suggestion: Always select the lowest temperature setting (140)
when using your hair straightener for the first time.
FAHRENHEIT AND CELSIUS EXCHANGE FUNCTION
Press the temperature down button “-“ for 2 seconds, then
Fahrenheit and Celsius can be exchanged.
The unit would be auto off after 30 minutes from your last
operation.
1 minute after switch on the appliance, the lock system function
goes on automatically. The “LOC” will display on LED. Keep
pressing “Temperature up” to unlock the system if you want to
change the temperature or switch off the appliance.

HOW TO STRAIGHT HAIR
Hold the appliance at the handle, always at a safe distance from
skin and eyes. Use a mirror.
• Part you hair into approx. 4 cm strands.
• Hold the appliance in the hand.
• Begin at the roots and lay the prepared strands one at a time
between the straightening brush teeth
CLEANING
1. Unplug the appliance from the main power supply.
2. Always allow the appliance to cool before attempting to clean it.
3. Never immerse the appliance in water.
4. Wipe the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth. Do not use
sharp or abrasive detergents or corrosive products.
• Close the appliance and draw the hair straightener slowly from the
roots through to the tips of your hair. Repeat until your hair is as
straight as you desire.
After finishing styling, let your hair cool down.
SWITCHING OFF THE APPLIANCE
To switch off the appliance press the” ON/OFF” button for 2 seconds.

RECYCLING AND DISPOSAL
Your appliance is classified as ‘electrical or electronic equipment’
and must not be disposed with other household or commercial
waste at the end of its working life. When you have no further use
for your Xenia Paris product, please dispose of it according to your
local authority’s recycling procedure. For more information
contact your local authority.

STORAGE
1. Always allow the appliance to cool down before storing away.
2. When the appliance has cooled down, fold the power cord in
the same way as it was first delivered in its packaging.
Do not wrap the supply cord around the appliance as this can
strain the cord and cause premature supply cord failure.

• Avant utilisation, vérifier que l'appareil fonctionne normalement.
Ne pas l’utiliser si :
- le cordon est endommagé
- on peut voir des parties abîmées sur l’appareil.
- l’appareil a subi une chute.
- ne jamais enrouler le cordon autour de l’appareil.
- le cordon ne doit jamais entrer en contact avec les parties
chauffantes, et ne doit jamais se trouver sur la brosse chauffante.
- avant de brancher l’appareil sur secteur, s’assurer qu’il est bien
éteint.
CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ LORS DE L'UTILISATION DE L'APPAREIL.
- l’appareil ne doit pas être mis au contact de tissus inflammables.
Il ne doit pas non plus être utilisé à proximité de substances
inflammables car les poils de la brosse peuvent atteindre une
température d’environ 220˚C.
- ne jamais couvrir les poils de la brosse lissante.
- l’appareil ne doit jamais être allumé s’il est branché. S’assurer
qu’il est bien débranché
- les enfants ne connaissent pas les dangers des appareils
électriques. Une surveillance stricte est donc nécessaire lorsque
l’appareil est utilisé par un enfant.
Retirer la fiche de la prise électrique :
- si l’appareil ne fonctionne pas correctement.
- avant de nettoyer l’appareil et après chaque utilisation
- ne pas tirer sur le cordon et ne pas transporter la brosse en la
tenant par le cordon.
CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ POUR LE NETTOYAGE ET L'ENTRETIEN
• Débranchez toujours l'appareil de l'alimentation et laissez
l'appareil refroidir avant le nettoyage et la maintenance, ou si
des défauts surviennent pendant le fonctionnement!
• N'utilisez pas le câble principal pour tirer sur la fiche ni retirer la
fiche de la prise avec les mains humides.

Risque de brûlures par les pièces chaudes de l'appareil.
Ne saisissez jamais l'appareil par ou près des poils de la
brosse lorsque l'appareil est allumé. Les poils de la brosse
à lisser peuvent causer des brûlures. Evitez le contact avec
la peau et les yeux. Ne transportez jamais l'appareil
lorsqu'il est chaud.

• Ne jamais utiliser l'appareil avec les mains mouillées, dans le bain ou la
douche ou sur un lavabo rempli. Si l'appareil tombe dans l'eau, retirez
immédiatement la fiche du câble principal de la prise murale. Lorsque
l'appareil est utilisé dans une salle de bains, débranchez-le après utilisation.
• Après utilisation, ou si vous faites une pause pendant un temps important,
débranchez-le et laissez l'appareil refroidir.
• Protégez l'appareil de l'humidité. Ne le mettez jamais au lave-vaisselle.
Ne jamais l'immerger dans l'eau.
Le spray à cheveux peut provoquer des brûlures
lorsque la substance entre en contact avec les poils de
la brosse à lisser.

POUR COMMENCER
Mise sous tension de l'appareil
• Connectez l'appareil à l'alimentation(100-240 V AC) et allumez
l'appareil à l'aide de la touche ON-OFF en la maintenant appuyée 2
secondes. L'écran affiche la température de réglage par défaut.
AVERTISSEMENT:
Risque de brûlures de vos cheveux si la température sélectionnée
est trop élevée.
Selon la qualité de vos cheveux, sélectionnez la température
appropriée par le bouton de contrôle de la température "+" et le
bouton de contrôle de la température "-".
Une température incorrectement sélectionnée ou l'utilisation
incorrecte du lisseur de cheveux met vos cheveux en danger de
se dessécher ou dans le pire des cas de brûler.
Veuillez continuer à appuyer sur "+" pour déverrouiller le
système avant de mettre l'appareil hors tension
Remarque!
Les températures élevées sont atteintes en quelques secondes,
une réduction de la température prend effet plus lentement.

RÉGLAGE DE LA TEMPÉRATURE

• Si vous appuyez sur le bouton de réglage de la température "+",
la température pertinente s'affiche sur l'écran et il se met à
clignoter. Il s'arrête lorsque la température des poils de la brosse
est atteinte.
• Si vous appuyez sur le bouton de contrôle de la température "-",
la température pertinente s’affiche sur l'écran et il s'arrête
lorsque la température des poils de la brosse est atteinte.
• Suggestion: sélectionnez toujours le réglage de la température
la plus basse(140) lorsque vous utilisez votre lisseur de cheveux
pour la première fois. Appuyez sur le bouton "-" de contrôle de température pendant 2
secondes, puis Fahrenheit et Celsius peuvent être échangés.
L'appareil s’ éteint automatiquement 30 minutes après la dernière
utilisation.
1 minute après l'allumage de l'appareil, la fonction du système de
verrouillage s'allume automatiquement. "LOC" s'affiche sur l’écran
LED. Continuez à appuyer sur "+" pour déverrouiller le système si
vous souhaitez modifier la température ou éteindre l'appareil.

LISSAGE DES CHEVEUX
Tenez l'appareil par la poignée, toujours à distance de la peau
et des yeux. Utilisez un miroir.
1. Divisez vos cheveux en mèches d’env. 4 cm de largeur.
2. Tenez l'appareil dans la main.
3. Commencer aux racines et poser les mèches préparées une à la
fois entre les poils de la brosse.
4. Fermez l’appareil et tirez lentement sur votre mèche de cheveux
des racines jusqu'à la pointe de vos cheveux. Répétez jusqu'à ce
que vos cheveux soient aussi droits que vous le désirez.
Après avoir terminé le coiffage, laissez vos cheveux refroidir.
ÉTEINDRE L'APPAREIL
Éteignez l'appareil, appuyez sur le bouton "ON / OFF" pendant 2
secondes.
ENTRETIEN
1. Débrancher l'appareil de la prise murale d'alimentation électrique.
2. Toujours laisser l'appareil refroidir avant de le nettoyer.
3. Ne jamais immerger l'appareil dans de l'eau.
4. Essuyer l'extérieur de l'appareil avec un chiffon légèrement humide.
Ne pas utiliser d'objets coupants ou de produits abrasifs.

RANGEMENT
1. Bien s'assurer que l'appareil a refroidi avant de le ranger.
2. Une fois que votre appareil a bien refroidi, plier le cordon de la
même façon que dans son emballage d'origine. Ne jamais
enrouler le cordon autour de l'appareil car cela risque de
l'endommager.
