XENX X1-640 is an ideal graphics tablet for digital art, painting, photo editing and graphic design.
Besides, it is a great tool for document annotation, pen input for online classes and meetings as well as
electronic signature application.

Our battery-free pen is enhanced by a highly precise pressure sensor which ultilizes 8192 level of pressure
sensitivity. Two customizable side buttons allow you to put your favourable shortcuts on it.
With Xenx Tablet Driver installed, you can customize the 5 on-tablet buttons to your favourite shortcuts.
These shortcuts can be configured and saved per application.
Xenx P1-640 captures 266 sets of pen coordinates and pressure data per second.
Xenx Tablet is compatible with Mac OS 10.12 or later, Windows 7 64-bit or later, Android 6.0 or later. You
can also enjoy driver free pen experience with Windows 10 and Android 6.0 or later.

Setup your graphics tablet on Windows OS

Starting from Windows 10, Microsoft®has introduced Windows Ink to enhance experience on pen
applications. Thanks to this great feature, Xenx X1-640 can simply plug and play for pen pressure
enabled applications, no additional driver is needed.
If you would like to receive extra tablet features such as customizing shortcut keys and screen mapping,
you have to install our Xenx Driver software to open up the full set of tablet functions.

Unzip the file and run the installation file by double click it
Follow the instructions to complete the installation. Restart your computer if prompted
Now you can connect your X1-640 tablet to your computer with the USB type-C cable
You can always open the Xenx Driver by clicking the Xenx icon in system tray

The official Xenx Driver installer may sometimes be blocked by anti-virus program. If you encounter this
problem, please temporary disable the anti-virus software to allow the Xenx Driver installation.
Always download the Xenx Driver from our official website www.xenx-tech.com.
Xenx Driver only supports Windows 7 or later.
If you have other graphics tablet driver installed, please uninstall it before installing the Xenx Driver
software.

Setup your graphics tablet on Mac OS4X1-640
Xenx graphics tablet supports Mac OS 10.12 or later. Please follow the below instructions to install
Xenx Driver software on your Mac computer.
Download the Xenx Driver software from our official website www.xenx-tech.com/download.
Click the and select the version of CPU of your Mac computer.

Unzip the file and run the installation file by double click it.
Follow the instructions to complete the installation. Restart your computer if prompted.
Now you can connect your X1-640 tablet to your computer with the USB type-C cable.
If you see the below warning after installing the Xenx Driver software, please update the system
preferences with the following steps:
Open “System Preferences” -> “Security and Privacy”.
Look for “XenxTabletShadow” and allow it.

Setup your graphics tablet on Android OS5X1-640
Xenx graphics tablet supports plug and play on Android OS 6 or later. Default orientation of the
drawing area is in landscape mode. When using Xenx tablet an Android phone, you may find ratio
distortion.
To switch the Xenx tablet to match the phone aspect ratio, please follow the steps below:
Xenx graphics tablets only support Android OS 6.0 or later. For some Android devices, the USB OTG
function is disabled by default. Please check with your Android device manufacturer for setting up the
OTG function.
Please note that the shortcut keys on tablet and pen are not supported in Android devices.
Only USB Type-C OTG adapter is provided with Xenx graphics tablet.

Connect XENX tablet to your Android phone with Type-C OTG adaptor.
Launch your drawing or writing app.
Press and hold both the top and bottom buttons at the same time for 5 seconds.
XENX tablet will switch to portrait mode to fit your phone orientation.
To switch back to landscape mode for your PC or Mac, press and hold the two buttons again for
5 seconds.

Mapping settings6.1 X1-640
With mapping function, you can customize how the graphics tablet drawing area maps to your
monitor(s). Besides, you can define the left-handed or right-handed orientations of the tablet.
By default, the full tablet drawing area will map to your entire display(s)
Right hand mode - shortcut keys are located at the left side of the tablet.

Allow you to define the tablet active area to fit your drawing experience.
You can define the display area to be mapped with the tablet.
Screen frame

All – if you have multiple monitors, this option will map the tablet to all monitors as a whole.
All – using the whole active area.
By monitor – quickly map one of the monitors with the tablet.
Partial – you can customize the active area by dragging the 8 control points or enter the absolute
coordinates.
Partial – user can define the portion of monitor(s) to map with the tablet.

You can customize the on-tablet shortcut button functions via the buttons settings section. There
are three options for each button:
When you choose Hotkey option, it will pop up a window to let you enter the combination of keys.

The preset value - We have pre-defined a set of shortcut keys to work with Adobe®Photoshop®.
Run Application – this option allows you to open an application by clicking the button.
Hotkey – You can customize any combination of keyboard keys to match the shortcut of specific application.

Under this section, you can customize your pen pressure and side buttons settings.
There are three pen modes you can choose from:

By default, Xenx tablet is set to Windows Ink mode in order to take advantages of the built-inpen features
of Microsoft®Windows. If you found the pen pressure is not functioning on older applications, please
switch pen settings to Absolute mode.
By default, Xenx tablet is set to absolute mode on Mac OS. In this mode, the coordinates of the pen
location will be absolutely mapped on the screen area. The cursor jumps to the corresponding point on
your screen when you place your pen on the tablet.

In this mode, the coordinates of the pen location will be absolutely mapped on the screen area. The cursor
jumps to the corresponding point on your screen when you place your pen on the tablet.
This is also known as mouse mode where the behavior of the pen will work like a traditional mouse device.
The cursor will stay at the point you lift the pen and it will continue at that point when you put the pen back
on the tablet. This mode is useful when you want to replace your mouse with pen device for daily operation.

You can setup the feeling of pen tip with this slider. You can check the pressure sensitivity with the
“Current pressure” indicator by pressing the pen tip at any empty space inside the driver window.
The harder pen tip means you need to press the pen harder to achieve maximum pen pressure.
You can also customize the pen pressure sensitivity by clicking the “User define” button. It will then
open the force vs pressure output graph and you can drag the coordinate point to adjust the behavior.

This is also known as mouse mode where the behavior of the pen will work like a traditional mouse device.

There are two side buttons on Xenx pen and you can customize the functions to enhance your work
efficiency.

By default, both buttons on pen are set to be eraser function on Windows OS.

Simulate the right click of a mouse.
Simulate the middle click of a mouse.
Toggle pen tip function between pen stroke and eraser.
Allow user to customize any keys combination to work with different applications.

In advanced settings page, there are three extra functions:
This mode is dedicated for OSU! gaming. If you enable this mode, it takes away the pen stroke smoothing
algorithm in return for the enhancement to overall response of the pen.

if you do not want the Xenx Driver open up every time you connect the tablet, please uncheck this option.

Device and application6.5 X1-640
If you have multiple Xenx devices, Xenx driver will create different profiles for each device. Click
the device icon to view the settings of this profile
You can also set different settings profile for different software applications. By default, settings will
be applied to all applications. It will be useful to have application specific settings especially for the
shortcut key definitions.
To create an application specified setting profile:

Frist, select the target device from the device list.
In the application list, click the + button.
Select the target application you want to create a setting profile.

For Windows OS, you have to locate the application .exe file for this setting. If you are not sure the
destination folder, you can first create a shortcut of the application to your Desktop. When choosing
the target application, you can simply select the shortcut in Desktop folder.
To remove an application specified setting profile:

Replace the pen nib7X1-640
Extra pen nibs and nib removal tool are included in the package.
Pull out the nib with the nib removal tool.
Gently push the replacement nib into the pen until it stops.
