Proper Use
IFM-485-ST was specically developed to connect to Passive Infrared detec-
tors of the ADPRO PRO and PRO E series via their standard RS-485 interface.
Using an IFM-485-ST and the ADPRO PRO Software 9.x installed on a PC, up
to 16 detectors can be parameterized, analyzed or connected to a master risk
management system for alarm management.
IFM-485-ST can also be used for Xtralis trafc detectors.

Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
IFM-485-ST wurde speziell zum Anschluss der Passiv-Infrarot Melder der
ADPRO PRO- und PRO E-Serien über deren standardmässige RS-485-Schnitt-
stelle entwickelt. Mittels IFM-485-ST und der auf einem PC installierten ADPRO
PRO Software 9.x knnen bis zu 16 Melder per Fernzugriff parametriert, analy-
siert oder zum Zwecke der Alarmverwaltung an ein übergeordnetes Gefahren-
managementsystem angeschlossen werden.
IFM-485-ST ist auch für die Xtralis Verkehrsdetektoren einsetzbar.

Utilización conforme al uso
IFM-485-ST ha sido especialmente desarrollado para conectar el sensor de
infrarrojos pasivo de las series ADPRO y ADPRO PRO-E con la interfaz de bus
RS485. Con el IFM-485-ST y el software 9.x de con guración de herramientas
ADPRO PRO PIR instalado en el ordenador, podrá conectar hasta 16 sensores
en remoto a un sistema de gestión de peligros y utilizarlo para parametrizar,
analizar o controlar las alarmas.
IFM-485-ST también puede utilizarse con los detectores de tráco de Xtralis.

Utilisation conforme
LemoduleIFM-485-STaétéspécialementconçupoureffectuer le raccordement
des détecteurs à infrarouge passif des séries ADPRO PRO et PRO E à l’aide
de leur interface RS-485 standard. Grce au module IFM-485-ST et au logiciel
ADPRO PRO Software 9.x installé sur un PC, jusqu’à 16 détecteurs peuvent
être paramétrés, analysés ou connectés à distance à un système principal de
gestion des dangers dans le cadre du traitement des alarmes.
Le module IFM-485-ST peut également être mis en œuvre pour les détecteurs

Utilizzo conforme
IFM-485-ST è stato specicatamente sviluppato per il collegamento dei

Commissioning, maintenance or operation of externally powered
detectors
Notes:
• Do not use the RJ12 test cable on any powered detectors.
• Please mind polarity of the power lines, even if AC powered and
make sure the detectors get 11VDC minimum.
• To prevent malfunction or destruction of equipment caused by
potential differences, make sure that GND is always connected
between all detectors and interface module IFM-485-ST.
• Add 120Ohm resistor between A&B in the detector at the end
of the bus.
• Recommended wire (minimum): Ø: 0,57mm; A: 0.26mm2;
AWG: 23.
