General safety information
The door operator must only be used for thepurpose for which it was designed. Any
other use should be considered improperand therefore dangerous.
The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any damage caused by improper, incorrect or
unreasonable use.
• Failure to observe the information in thismanual may lead to personal injury or damage to
the equipment. This manualmust be kept and passed on to all possiblefuture users of the
system.
• Do not use the door operator if it needsrepairing or adjusting. Disconnect the powersupply
when carrying out cleaning ormaintenance tasks.
• The door operator may only be used if theentire range of motion is clearly visible. Be
mindful of others within the range of thisproduct during operation. Do not pass ordrive
underneath a moving door. Do not lift objects and/or persons with the operator
• Do not allow children to stay or play near the door operator
•This appliance can be used by childrenaged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mentalcapabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been givensupervision or instructions concerning safe
use of the appliance and understand thehazards involved.
• Keep remote controls and/or any othercontrol devices out of the reach of children,
to prevent the door operator beingaccidentally activated.
• Cleaning and service must only be done by authorized persons
• The installer of the automatic door is responsible that the door fullfills all national safety
regulations, especially compliance with the norms EN 12445, EN 12453, EN 13241-1, EN
60335-2 as well as for the technical documentation and CE-declaration of the automatic door.

1.Product description / technical data
This door operator is suitable for use with balanced sectional doors and one-piece doors.
It isnotfor use with swing doors and inside swinging one piece doors.

2. safety advise
Important:
The door must be well balanced, easy to move by hand and be installed according the
instructions oft he door manufacturer.
Installation must be performed by a qualified service technician.
Electrical installations must be carried out by authorised specialized personell.
The load capacity and suitability of the supportingconstruction of the building in which the door
operator is to beinstalled must be inspected and approved by an expert.
The door operator must be fully and securely attached at allfastening points. All fastening
materials must be selectedaccording to the nature of the supporting construction and
they must be able to withstand traction force of 900 N. Beforeinstalling the drive, any device or
equipment such as chainsor locks, not needed for powered operation, must be removed.
In the event of non-conformance with theserequirements, there is a risk of injury and
materialdamage caused by a falling operator or an uncontrolledmovement of the door.
When drilling the fastening holes, do not damage the buildingstructure or any electrical, water
or other lines.
After lifting up the door operator to the ceiling, fasten it fullywith appropriate tools to prevent
it from falling down
Please observe appropriate industrial safety regulations andkeep children away during
installation. Make sure that partsof the door do not extend over public footpaths or roads.
3. Intended usage
This operator is made for use on balanced sectional doors and one piece doors.
The max. values in terms of weight and size oft he door must be respected.
Before installing the operator you may have to de-activate a existing locking system on your
door
Usage oft he operator in explosive environment is not allowed !
The manufacturer must provide written and express approval
for:
• Modifications or attachments
• Use of parts other than factory authorised replacementparts
• Repairs performed by persons or businesses that have notbeen authorised by the
manufacturer.
If approval is not obtained for any of the above, this mayinvalidate the product’s guarantee.
We will not be liable for damage
• Due to non-compliance with operating instructions
• Due to technical errors in connecting the door operator andstructural deformations that may
occur during operation
• As a result of inappropriate door maintenance.

4.Installation of drive unit and rail
Requirement:
You need at least a lintel height between min 35 mm and max. 400 mm to install the operator
correctly.
Rail assembly:
Put trolley „C“ into the rail and connect the 2 rail pieces „A“ with the connector piece„B“ to a
complete rail
Move tension screw„D“through the hole of the tension bracket and fix it with shock absorber
spring and nut„E“
Tension the belt with nut„E“according to below drawing.

Assambly of the operator:
1. Connect wall-bracket „F“ with bolt and pin at the tension bracket of the rail
2. Connect pushrod and door-bracket„G“with the trolley
3. Connect drive unit„H“with the brackets„K“to the rail
Screw wall-bracket„F“between 2-15 cm (depending on available space) above the center
position of the door blade to the lintel.
With angels„L“ myou screw drive unit to the ceiling and screw door-bracket„M“ on the upper
center position ofthe doorblade

Emergency release
As shown in below drawing you can release the operator by pulling the emergency rope
downwards
Now you can move the door manual
In case you do not have any other access tot he garage we recommend to install a additional
inset-lock (accessorie !). See picture below

5.Programming of the operator
Programming of the endpositions
1. PushSET-button as long until„1“appears on the display.
2. Press and keep UP-button pressed until the door reached its correct open
positionBy pressingDOWN-button you can do corrections of the door position
3. Confirm the open position by pressingSET
4. The display now shows2
5. Press and keepDOWN-button pressed until the door reached its correct closed
position
By pressingUP-button you can do corrections ofthe door position
6. Confirm the closed position by pressingSET
7. The operator now makes a force learning open and close cycle
8. After successfully achieved learning cycle the display showsu
In case the display shows „E“ you must disconnet the operator for at least 10 seconds
from the power supply and re-do the steps above. Please ensure that there are no
obstacles in the doorway
.
Pairing transmitter
Press„CODE“-buttonuntil the small LED-dot on the lower right corner switches on.
Now press the button oft he transmitter that you want to programm.
The LED-dot switches off. Now press the same button on the transmitter again and the
LED-dot flashes fast and the display shows „u“.
The transmitter is paired.
For additional transmitters (max.20 pcs.) re-do the steps above.
For deletingall transmitters press and keep CODE-button pressed for at least 10 seconds
until the display shows„C“. All transmitters are deleted.

6.Force adjustment –automatic closing
Force adjustment
Due to wear and tear of the door it might happen that the force limitation has to be
re-adjusted
A re-adjusting ofthe force limitation from the factory setting (value 2) can
lead to serious damage and injuries of persons and/or goods!
Only authorised experts are allowed to do this adjustments !
Press SET-button as long as 3appears on the display. WithUP andDOWN buttons you can re-
adjust the force tolerance (values 1-3, 3=max.)
By pressing SETyou confirm the re-adjustment.
It is mandantory to check afterwards that the force limitation is still in compliance
with the legal regulations in your country.
Only authorised experts are allowed to do changes !
Automatic closing
Press DOWN-btton until display shows „-“.
With UPandDOWN-button you choose the automatic closing time in minutes. Maximum 9
minutes
By pressingSET you confirm your settings.
With value „0“ the automatic closing function is de-activated
It is mandantory to have photocells installed whilst using automatic closing function!
