When replacing the “amplifier and power module” of this unit with a new service part, make sure to replace the “jumper wire” for
switching the input voltage located on the P.C.B. of the “amplifier and power module”.

1. Critical Components Information
Components having special characteristics are marked ⚠and
must be replaced with parts having specifications equal to those
originally installed.
2. Leakage Current Measurement (For 120V Models Only)
When service has been completed, it is imperative to verify
that all exposed conductive surfaces are properly insulated
from supply circuits.
• Meter impedance should be equivalent to 1500 ohms shunted
by 0.15 μF.
■TO SERVICE PERSONNEL
• Leakage current must not exceed 0.5mA.
• Be sure to test for leakage with the AC plug in both polarities.

本機に搭載されているすべての基板およびハンダ付けに
よる接合部は無鉛ハンダでハンダ付けされています。
無鉛ハンダにはいくつかの種類がありますが、修理時に
は下記のような無鉛ハンダの使用を推奨します。
󱾁 Sn+Ag+Cu（錫+銀+銅）
󱾁 Sn+Cu（錫 + 銅）
󱾁 Sn+Zn+Bi（錫 + 亜鉛 + ビスマス）
注意：
無鉛ハンダの融点温度は通常の鉛入りハンダに比べ 30 〜
40℃程度高くなっていますので、それぞれのハンダに合っ
たハンダごてをご使用ください。
All of the P.C.B.s installed in this unit and solder joints are
soldered using the lead free solder.
Among some types of lead free solder currently available,
it is recommended to use one of the following types for
the repair work.
• Sn + Ag + Cu (tin + silver + copper)
• Sn + Cu (tin + copper)
• Sn + Zn + Bi (tin + zinc + bismuth)
Caution:
As the melting point temperature of the lead free solder
is about 30°C to 40°C (50°F to 70°F) higher than that of
the lead solder, be sure to use a soldering iron suitable
to each solder.

WARNING: Lithium batteries are dangerous because
they can be exploded by improper handling. Observe the
following precautions when handling or replacing lithium
batteries.
• Leave lithium battery replacement to qualified service
personnel.
• Always replace with batteries of the same type.
• When installing on the PC board by soldering, solder
using the connection terminals provided on the battery
cells. Never solder directly to the cells. Perform the
soldering as quickly as possible.
• Never reverse the battery polarities when installing.
• Do not short the batteries.
• Do not attempt to recharge these batteries.
• Do not disassemble the batteries.
• Never heat batteries or throw them into fire.

■SERVICE PRECAUTIONS / サービス時の注意事項
安全対策
・ この製品の内部には高電圧部分があり危険です。修理
の際は、絶縁性の手袋を使用するなどの安全対策を
行ってください。
・ 下記のコンデンサには電源を OFF にした後も電荷が残
り、高電圧が維持されており危険です。
修理作業前に放電用抵抗（5k Ω /10W）を下記の各コ
ンデンサの端子間に接続して放電してください。
放電所用時間は各々約 30 秒間です。

さい。
Safety measures
• Some internal parts in this product contain high voltages
and are dangerous.
Be sure to take safety measures during servicing, such
as wearing insulating gloves.
• Note that the capacitors indicated below are dangerous
even after the power is turned off because an electric
charge remains and a high voltage continues to exist
there.
Before starting any repair work, connect a discharging
resistor (5 k-ohms/10 W) to the terminals of each
capacitor indicated below to discharge electricity.
The time required for discharging is about 30 seconds
per each.

計測機器取り扱い上の注意
本機のスピーカー出力は BTL 接続となっていますので、
スピーカー端子に接続する計測器のアース側はフロー
ティング状態に保つ必要があります。
Precaution for handling measuring instrument
Since the speaker output of this unit is BTL connected, the
ground side of the measuring instrument to be connected
to the speaker terminal MUST be kept in floating condition.

3. Removal of MAIN (2) P.C.B. (Fig. 3)
a. Remove screw (④).
b. Pull out the MAIN (2) P.C.B.
c. Remove CB501 and CB603.
d. Remove the MAIN (2) P.C.B. together with the barrier
sheet.

4. Removal of Network Module
a. Remove the wireless LAN antenna connector by
using MHF connector remover.
4. ネットワークモジュールの外し方
a. MHF コネクター挿抜工具を使い、無線 LAN アンテナ
コネクターを外します。
注意！
・ 無線 LAN アンテナコネクターを引き抜く場合は、専
用の MHF コネクター挿抜工具の先端部を無線 LAN ア
ンテナコネクターふた部に引っかけ、無線 LAN アン
テナコネクターの嵌合軸に合わせ垂直に引き抜いて
ください。（Fig.4）

CAUTION !
• To remove the wireless LAN antenna connector, use
the special MHF connector remover. Hook the tip of
this tool on the cover of the wireless LAN antenna
connector and pull it straight in the direction of the
engaging axis of the wireless LAN antenna connector.

・ 無線 LAN アンテナコネクターは、ネットワークモ
ジュールを MAIN（1）P.C.B. に取り付けてからネット
ワークモジュールへ挿すようにしてください。
・ 無線 LAN アンテナコネクターをネットワークモ
ジュールへ挿すときは、必ず MHF コネクター挿抜工
具を使い、無線 LAN アンテナコネクターを持って垂
直に挿入してください。無線 LAN アンテナコネクター
を鋭角に挿入すると壊れることがあります。
・ 無線 LAN アンテナコネクターの挿抜は 5 回までとし
てください。
• The wireless LAN antenna connector should only be
plugged back to the network module after it has been
installed back onto the MAIN (1) P.C.B.
• When plugging the wireless LAN antenna connector
back to the network module, make sure to hold it and
insert it vertically using the MHF connector remover.
Make sure not to insert the wireless LAN antenna
connector at a sharp angle as it may break.
• The wireless LAN antenna connector can be inserted
and removed up to 5 times only.
b. Remove screw (⑤) together with the cable clamp.
(Fig. 5)
c. Remove the network module to upward. (Fig. 5)
The network module is directly connected to the
MAIN (1) P.C.B. with the board-to-board connectors.
d. Remove the filament tape and disconnect the
wireless LAN antenna connector from the network
module.
*When installing the network module, first connect
the wireless LAN antenna connector to the network
module, attach the filament tape to the original
position to fix the cable of the wireless LAN antenna
connector and then install the network module to the
MAIN (1) P.C.B.
b. ⑤のネジ 1 本をケーブルクランプと一緒に外します。
（Fig.5）
c. ネットワークモジュールを上方へ外します。（Fig.5）
ネットワークモジュールは、MAIN（1）P.C.B. に基板
対基板コネクターで直接接続されています。
d. フィラメントテープをはがし、無線 LAN アンテナコ
ネクターをネットワークモジュールから外します。
※ ネットワークモジュールを取り付ける場合は、最初
に無線 LAN アンテナコネクターをネットワークモ
ジュールへ挿し、次にフィラメントテープを元の位
置に貼って無線 LAN アンテナコネクターのケーブル
を固定してから、ネットワークモジュールを MAIN（1）
P.C.B. に取り付けください。

a. Remove 2 screws (⑥) and remove the barrier sheet.
*Be sure to reinstall the removed barrier sheet and
2 screws to their original positions.
For easier removal of the MAIN (1) P.C.B. and
power module, remove only the barrier sheet in
advance.
b. Remove screw (⑦) and remove the barrier shield.
c. Remove 2 screws (⑧) and 3 screws (⑨).
d. WXA-50
Remove CB1, CB2, P100, P102 and P103.
WXC-50
Remove CB1 and CB205.
e. Remove the MAIN (1) P.C.B.

b. ⑦のネジ 1 本を外し、バリアシールドを外します。
c. ⑧のネジ 2 本、⑨のネジ 3 本を外します。

6. Removal of DC Fan Motor and Amplifier and
Power Module (Fig. 7) [WXA-50]
a. Remove 2 screws (⑩).
b. Remove CB901.
c. Remove the DC fan motor together with the fan
support.
d. Remove 4 screws (⑪).
e. Remove P101.
f. Remove the amplifier and power module.
注意：
1. “アンプ／電源モジュール” を新しいサービスパーツ
に交換する場合、必ず “アンプ／電源モジュール” の
基板上にある入力電圧切替の “ジャンパー線” を入
れ替えてください。（Fig.7）

2. “アンプ／電源モジュール” を新しいサービスパーツ
に交換する場合、古い “アンプ／電源モジュール” の
ヒートシンク上 2 ヶ所に貼り付けてある熱伝導シー
トをはがし、新しい “アンプ／電源モジュール” のヒー
トシンク上 2 ヶ所に貼り直してください。（Fig.7）
または、新しい熱伝導シートを新しい “アンプ／電
源モジュール” のヒートシンク上 2 ヶ所に貼り付け
てください。
トップカバーを外した時に熱伝導シートがトップカ
バーに貼り付いている場合があります。その場合熱
伝導シートをトップカバーからはがしてアンプ／電
源モジュールのヒートシンクの上に貼り直してくだ
さい。
Notes:
1. U, C, V, S, J models
When replacing the “amplifier and power module”
with a new service part, make sure to replace the
“jumper wire” for switching the input voltage located
on the P.C.B. of the “amplifier and power module”.
(Fig. 7)
U, C, V, S, J models: P200/115 V
T, K, A, B, G, F, L models: P201/230 V (default)
2. When replacing the “amplifier and power module” with
a new service part, remove the thermal conducting
sheets attached to the heat sink of the old “amplifier
and power module” at 2 locations on it and attach them
again to the heat sink of the new “amplifier and power
module” at 2 locations on it. (Fig. 7)
Or, attach the new thermal conducting sheets to the
heat sink of the new “amplifier and power module” at
2 locations on it.
When the top cover is removed, the thermal
conduction sheet may remain attached to it. If so,
detach the thermal conduction sheet from the top
cover and attach it again on the heatsink of the
amplifier and power module.
