DECT dongle kit DD10K helps you turn the SIP-T41S/T42S
IP phone to the DECT desk phone (hereinafter referred to as
DD phone). After that, you can use the IP phone as a handset
for a base station.
The following items are included in your package. If you find
anything missing, contact your system administrator.
Assembling the DD10K, as shown below:
To assemble the DD10K:
1. Insert the DD10K into the USB port on the back of the
phone.

DD Phone Mode
Before using a IP phone as a DECT desk phone, you should
enable the DD phone mode first.
To enable the DD phone mode when the IP phone is
powered off:
1. Assemble the DD10K.
2. Power on the IP phone.
The DD phone mode is enabled automatically after the IP
phone is started up.
If you purchase the W41P package, the T41S DD phone
is registered to the W60B by default, so you can skip the
Registration process. If you purchase the DD10K package,
you should manually register the DD phone to one Base
station.
Registration
You can register up to 8 DD phones (for W60B) or 5 DD
phones (for W52P) to one base station. Each DD phone can
be registered to only one base station.
Before registering the DD phone, make sure the base station
is in registration mode (long press on the base station till
the registration LED flashes).
To register the DD phone when the phone screen
prompts “Unregistered!”, do one of the following:
• Press the Reg soft key to register quickly.
• a. Do one of the following:
–Press the OK soft key, and then select Register
Handset.
–Press , and then select Settings->Registration->
Register Handset.
The IP phone begins searching the base station.
b. Press the OK soft key after searching a base station
successfully.

c. Enter the base station PIN (default: 0000), and then press
the OK soft key to complete registration.
Call Mute and Un-mute
• Press to mute the microphone during a call.
• Press again to un-mute the call.
Call Hold and Resume
To place a call on hold:
Press the Hold soft key during an active call.
To resume the call, do one of the following:
• If there is only one call on hold, press the Resume soft key.
• If there is more than one call on hold, press or to
select the desired call, and then press the Resume soft key.
Call Transfer
You can transfer a call in the following ways:
Blind Transfer
1. Press the Transfer soft key during an active call. The call is
placed on hold.
2. Enter the number you want to transfer to.
3. Press the Transfer soft key.
Semi-Attended Transfer
1. Press the Transfer soft key during an active call. The call is
placed on hold.
2. Enter the number you want to transfer to, and then press
.
Note:
•If the DD phone is registered to the base station successfully, the phone
screen prompts “Subscribed Succeed”.
•If the DD phone prompts “Searching for Base”, check if your base station
is powered on or not.

3. Press the Transfer soft key when you hear the ring-back
tone.
Attended Transfer
1. Press the Transfer soft key during an active call. The call is
placed on hold.
2. Enter the number you want to transfer to, and then press
.
3. Press the Transfer soft key when the second party
answers.
Call Forward
To enable call forward:
1. Press the Menu soft key when the phone is idle, and then
select Features->Call Forward.
2. Select a desired account.
3. Select the desired forward type:
Always Forward----Incoming calls are forwarded
unconditionally.
Busy Forward----Incoming calls are forwarded when the
phone is busy.
No Answer Forward----Incoming calls are forwarded if
not answered after a period of time.
4. Enter the number you want to forward to. For No Answer
Forward, press or to select the desired ring time to
wait before forwarding from the After Ring Time field.
5. Press the Save soft key to accept the change.
Conference
1. Press the Conf soft key during an active call. The call is
placed on hold.
2. Enter the number of the second party, and then press the
Send soft key.
3. Press the Conf soft key again when the second party
answers. All parties are now joined in the conference.
4. Press the End Call soft key to disconnect all parties.

Speed Dial
To configure a speed dial key:
1. Press the Menu soft key when the phone is idle, and then select
Features->DSS Keys.
2. Select the desired DSS key, and then press the Enter soft key.
3. Select SpeedDial from the Type field, select the desired line
from the Account ID field, enter a label in the Label field and
then enter the number in the Value field.
4. Press the Save soft key to accept the change.
To use the speed dial key:
1. Press the speed dial key to dial out the preset number.
Handset Name
To rename the handset:
1. Press the Menu soft key when the phone is idle, and then select
Settings->Basic Settings->Phone Name.
2. Edit the value in the Phone Name field.
3. Press the Save soft key to accept the change.
Call History
1. Press the History soft key when the phone is idle, press or
to scroll through the list.
2. Select an entry from the list, you can do the following:
•Press the Send soft key to call the entry.
•Press the Delete soft key to delete the entry from the list.
•Press the Option soft key, do the following:
•Select Detail to view detailed information about the
entry.
•Select Add to Contact to add the entry to the local
directory.
•Select Add to Blacklist to add the entry to the blacklist.
•Select Delete All to delete all entries from the list.

Contact Directory
To add a contact:
1. Press the Directory soft key when the phone is idle.
2. Press the Add soft key to add a contact.
3. Enter a unique contact name in the Name field and
contact numbers in the corresponding fields.
4. Press the Add soft key to accept the change.
To edit a contact:
1. Press the Directory soft key when the phone is idle.
2. Press or to select the desired contact, press the
Option soft key and then select Detail from the prompt
list.
3. Edit the contact information.
4. Press the Save soft key to accept the change.
To delete a contact:
1. Press the Directory soft key when the phone is idle, and
then select All Contacts.
2. Press or to select the desired contact, press the
Option soft key and then select Delete from the prompt
list.
3. Press the OK soft key when the phone screen prompts
“Delete selected item?”.
Volume Adjustment
•Press during a call to adjust the receiver volume
of the handset/speakerphone/headset.
•Press when the phone is idle or ringing to
adjust the ringer volume.
Ring Tones
1. Press the Menu soft key when the phone is idle, and then
select Settings->Basic Settings->Sound->Ring Tones.
2. Press or to select Common or the desired account,
and then press the Enter soft key.
3. Press or to select the desired ring tone.
4. Press the Save soft key to accept the change.

Safety Instructions
Save these instructions. Read these safety instructions before use!
The following basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce risk
of fire, electrical shock, and other personal injury.
General Requirements
• Before you install and use the device, read the safety instructions
carefully and observe the situation during operation.
• During the process of storage, transportation, and operation, please
always keep the device dry and clean.
• During the process of storage, transportation, and operation, please
avoid collision and crash of the device.
• Please attempt not to dismantle the device by yourself. In case of any
discrepancy, please contact the appointed maintenance center for repair.
• Without prior written consent, no organization or individual is permitted
to make any change to the structure or the safety design of the device.
Yealink is under no circumstance liable to consequences or legal issues
caused by such changes.
• Please refer to the relevant laws and statutes while using the device.
Legal rights of others should be respected as well.
Environmental Requirements
• Place the device at a well-ventilated place. Do not expose the device
under direct sunlight.
• Keep the device dry and free of dusts.
• Place the device on a stable and level platform.
• Please place no heavy objects on the device in case of damage and
deformation caused by the heavy load.
• Keep at least 10 cm between the device and the closest object for heat
dissipation.
• Do not place the device on or near any inflammable or fire-vulnerable
object, such as rubber-made materials.
• Keep the device away from any heat source or bare fire, such as a candle
or an electric heater.
• Keep the device away from any household appliance with strong magnetic
field or electromagnetic field, such as a microwave oven or a refrigerator.
Operating Requirements
• Do not let a child operate the device without guidance.
• Do not let a child play with the device or any accessory in case of
accidental swallowing.
• Please use the accessories provided or authorized by the manufacturer
only.
• The power supply of the device shall meet the requirements of the input
voltage of the device. Please use the provided surge protection power
socket only.

• Before plugging or unplugging any cable, make sure that your hands
are completely dry.
• Do not spill liquid of any kind on the product or use the equipment
near water, for example, near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, wet
basement or near a swimming pool.
• Do not tread on, pull, or over-bend any cable in case of malfunction of
the device.
• During a thunderstorm, stop using the device and disconnect it from
the power supply. Unplug the power plug and the Asymmetric Digital
Subscriber Line (ADSL) twisted pair (the radio frequency cable) to avoid
lightning strike.
• If the device is left unused for a rather long time, disconnect it from the
power supply and unplug the power plug.
• When there is smoke emitted from the device, or some abnormal noise
or smell, disconnect the device from the power supply, and unplug the
power plug immediately. Contact the specified maintenance center for
repair.
• Do not insert any object into equipment slots that is not part of the
product or auxiliary product.
• Before connecting a cable, connect the grounding cable of the device
first. Do not disconnect the grounding cable until you disconnect all
other cables.
Cleaning Requirements
• Before cleaning the device, stop using it and disconnect it from the
power supply.
• Use a piece of soft, dry and anti-static cloth to clean the device.
• Keep the power plug clean and dry. Using a dirty or wet power plug may
lead to electric shock or other perils.
ENVIRONMENTAL RECYCLING
Never dispose of the device with domestic waste
Ask your Town Council about how to dispose of it in an
environmentally friendly way. The cardboard box, plastic
packaging and player components may be recycled in
accordance with prevailing recycling regulations in your country.
Always adhere to prevailing regulations
Those who fail to do so may be fined or prosecuted in
accordance with the law. The crossed out garbage can that
appears on the device means that when it has reached the end
of its useful life, it should be taken to a special waste disposal
centre and treated separately to general urban waste.

Das DECT-Donglekit DD10K hilft Ihnen dabei, das SIP-T41S/T42S IP-
Telefon in ein DECT-Tischtelefon (nachfolgend als DD-Telefon bezeichnet)
umzuwandeln. Anschließend können Sie das IP-Telefon als Handgerät
einer Basisstation verwenden.
In Ihrem Paket sind die folgenden Teile enthalten. Sollte etwas fehlen,
wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren Systemadministrator.

DD Phone Mode
Vor der Nutzung eines IP-Telefons als DECT-Tischtelefon muss zunächst
der DD Phone Mode aktiviert werden.
Aktivierung des DD Phone Mode bei abgeschaltetem IP-Telefon:
1. Montieren Sie das DD10K.
2. Schalten Sie das IP-Telefon an.
Der DD Phone Mode wird nach dem Einschalten des IP-Telefons
automatisch aktiviert.
Falls Sie das W41P-Paket gekauft haben, wird das T41S DD-Telefon
standardmäßig an der W60B registriert und Sie können die Registrierung
übergehen. Falls Sie das DD10K-Paket gekauft haben, sollten Sie das DD-
Telefon manuell an einer Basisstation registrieren.
Registrieren
An einer Basisstation ist eine Registrierung von bis zu 8 DD-Telefonen (an
W60B) oder 5 DD-Telefonen (an W52P) möglich. Jedes DD-Telefon kann
nur an einer Basisstation registriert werden.
Stellen Sie vor der Registrierung des DD-Telefons sicher, dass sich die
Basisstation im Modus Registrierung befindet (halten Sie die Taste an
der Basisstation gedrückt, bis die LED Registrierung aufleuchtet).
Registrierung des DD-Telefons bei der Anzeige von „Nicht registriert!“
am Display:
• Drücken Sie den Softkey Reg zur schnellen Anmeldung.
• a. Befolgen Sie eine der folgenden Anweisungen:
– Drücken Sie den Softkey OK und wählen Sie Mobilteil anmelden.
– Drücken Sie , und wählen Sie Settings->Registrieren->
Mobilteil anmelden.
Das IP-Telefon beginnt mit der Suche nach der Basisstation.
b. Drücken Sie den Softkey OK, nachdem eine Basisstation erfolgreich
gefunden wurde.

c. Geben Sie die PIN der Basisstation ein (Standard: 0000) und Drücken Sie
den Softkey OK, um die Registrierung abzuschließen.
Stummschalten von Anrufen aktivieren/deaktivieren
•Drücken Sie , um das Mikrofon während einem Anruf stumm zu schalten.
• Drücken Sie erneut, um das Stummschalten rückgängig zu machen.
Anruf halten und fortsetzen
Halten eines Anrufs:
Drücken Sie den Softkey Hold während eines aktiven Anrufs.
Fortsetzen des Anrufs:
• Falls nur ein Anruf gehalten wird, drücken Sie den Softkey Resume.
• Falls mehr als ein Anruf gehalten wird, drücken Sie oder zur
Auswahl des entsprechenden Anrufs und anschließend den Softkey
Resume.
> Verbinden
Zum Verbinden eines Anrufs, gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
Blindes Verbinden
1. Drücken Sie den Softkey Transfer während eines aktiven Anrufs. Der
Anruf wird gehalten.
2. Geben Sie die Nummer ein, mit der Sie den Anruf verbinden möchten.
3. Drücken Sie den Softkey Transfer.
Anrufverbindung ohne Ankündigung
1. Drücken Sie den Softkey Transfer während eines aktiven Anrufs. Der
Anruf wird gehalten.
Hinweis:
• Nach der erfolgreichen Registrierung des DD-Telefons an der Basisstation wird
im Telefon „Registrierung erfolgreich“ angezeigt.
• Falls am Telefon „Suche Basis“ angezeigt wird, prüfen Sie die Stromversorgung
der Basisstation.

2. Geben Sie die Nummer ein, mit der Sie den Anruf verbinden möchten,
und Drücken Sie .
3. Drücken Sie den Softkey Transfer, wenn Sie den Klingelton hören.
Verbinden nach Rücksprache
1. Drücken Sie den Softkey Transfer während eines aktiven Anrufs. Der
Anruf wird gehalten.
2. Geben Sie die Nummer ein, mit der Sie den Anruf verbinden möchten,
und Drücken Sie .
3. Drücken Sie den Softkey Transfer, wenn die andere Person antwortet.
Weiterleitung
Aktivierung der Weiterleitung:
1. Drücken Sie den Softkey Menu, während sich das Telefon im Standby
befindet, und wählen Sie Features->Weiterleitung.
2. Wählen Sie ein Konto aus.
3. Wählen Sie den Typ der Weiterleitung aus:
Immer weiterleiten ---- Eingehende Anrufe werden immer
weitergeleitet.
Busy Forward ---- Eingehende Anrufe werden weitergeleitet, wenn das
Telefon belegt ist.
No Answer Forward ---- Eingehende Anrufe werden nach einer
gewissen Zeit weitergeleitet, falls der Anruf beantwortet wird.
4. Geben Sie die Nummer ein, an die Anrufe weitergeleitet werden sollen.
Für No Answer Forward, drücken Sie oder zur Eingabe der Zeit
bis zur Weiterleitung des Anrufs im Feld After Ring Time.
5. Drücken Sie den Softkey Save, um die Änderungen zu übernehmen.
Konferenz
1. Drücken Sie den Softkey Conf während eines aktiven Anrufs. Der Anruf
wird gehalten.
2. Geben Sie die Nummer der zweiten Person ein und drücken Sie den
Softkey Send.
3. Drücken Sie den Softkey Conf erneut, wenn die zweite Person
antwortet. Alle Personen wurden der Konferenz nun hinzugefügt.
4. Drücken Sie den Softkey Auflegen, um alle Personen zu trennen.

Kurzwahl
Konfiguration einer Kurzwahltaste:
1. Drücken Sie den Softkey Menu, während sich das Telefon im Standby befindet,
und wählen Sie Features->Funktionstasten.
2. Wählen Sie die gewünschte Funktionstaste aus und drücken Sie den Softkey
Bestätigen.
3. Wählen Sie SpeedDial im Feld Type und die gewünschte Leitung im Feld Konto
ID, geben Sie im Feld Label eine Beschreibung und die Nummer im Feld Value ein.
4. Drücken Sie den Softkey Save, um die Änderungen zu übernehmen.
Nutzung der Kurzwahltaste:
1. Drücken Sie die Kurzwahltaste, um die voreingestellte Nummer zu wählen.
Mobilteilname
Umbenennen des Handgeräts:
1. Drücken Sie den Softkey Menu, während sich das Telefon im Standby befindet,
und wählen Sie Settings->Basis Einstellungen->Gerätename.
2. Bearbeiten Sie den Eintrag im Feld Gerätename.
3. Drücken Sie den Softkey Save, um die Änderungen zu übernehmen.
Anrufprotokoll
1. Drücken Sie den Softkey History, während sich das Telefon im Standby befindet,
und anschließend oder , um durch die Liste zu blättern.
2. Nach der Auswahl eines Eintrags aus der Liste haben Sie die folgenden Möglichkeiten:
• Drücken Sie den Softkey Send, um den Eintrag anzurufen.
• Drücken Sie den Softkey Löschen, um den Eintrag aus der Liste zu
löschen.
• Drücken Sie den Softkey Option und gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
• Wählen Sie Detail, um detaillierte Informationen zum Eintrag
anzuzeigen.
• Wählen Sie zu Kontakt hinzufügen, um den Eintrag dem lokalen
Telefonbuch hinzuzufügen.
• Wählen Sie Zur Blacklist, um den Eintrag der Blacklist hinzuzufügen.
• Wählen Sie Alle löschen, um alle Einträge aus der Liste zu löschen.

Telefonbuch
Hinzufügen eines Kontakts:
1. Drücken Sie den Softkey Telefonbuch, während sich das Telefon im
Standby befindet.
2. Drücken Sie den Softkey Hinzufügen, um einen Kontakt hinzuzufügen.
3. Geben im Feld Name einen eindeutigen Kontaktnamen und die
Nummern des Kontakts im entsprechenden Feld ein.
4.
Drücken Sie den Softkey Hinzufügen, um die Änderungen zu übernehmen.
Bearbeiten eines Kontakts:
1. Drücken Sie den Softkey Telefonbuch, während sich das Telefon im
Standby befindet.
2. Drücken Sie oder , um den gewünschten Kontakt auszuwählen,
anschließend den Softkey Option und wählen Sie Detail in der
angezeigten Liste.
3. Bearbeiten Sie die Kontaktinformationen.
4. Drücken Sie den Softkey Save, um die Änderungen zu übernehmen.
Löschen eines Kontakts:
1. Drücken Sie den Softkey Telefonbuch, während sich das Telefon im
Standby befindet, und wählen Sie Lokales Telefonbuch.
2. Drücken Sie oder , um den gewünschten Kontakt auszuwählen,
anschließend den Softkey Option und wählen Sie Löschen in der
angezeigten Liste.
3. Drücken Sie den Softkey OK, wenn am Telefon „Ausgewähltes Element
löschen?“ angezeigt wird.
Einstellen der Lautstärke
• Drücken Sie während eines Anrufs, um die Lautstärke des
Handgeräts/Lautsprechers/Headsets einzustellen.
• Drücken Sie , während das Telefon sich im Standby befindet
oder klingelt, um die Lautstärke des Klingeltons einzustellen.
Klingeltöne
1. Drücken Sie den Softkey Menu, während sich das Telefon im Standby
befindet, und wählen Sie Settings->Basis Einstellungen->Sound->
Ring Tones.
2. Drücken Sie oder und wählen Sie Common oder das
gewünschte Konto aus und drücken Sie anschließend den Softkey
Bestätigen.
3. Drücken Sie oder , um den gewünschten Klingelton zu wählen.
4. Drücken Sie den Softkey Save, um die Änderungen zu übernehmen.
