A. Assembly
1. Check the list
Before the assembly, please check the list of items to see if there are any missing parts, flawed
pieces, and make sure the parts are complete before installation.
2. Tools

3. Test
Before installing the chassis, please test whether the steering gear and motor are running
normally, and adjust the angle of the steering gear.
➢If steering gear centering is not noticed before assembly, rudder angle and program need to
be adjusted later. So before the assembly, it is very important to determine the midpoint of
the steering gear. Here you can download the program to the main board and power the
steering gear to center. The test can also be written in your own code or implemented using
a dedicated steering gear controller.
➢The motor is a DC geared motor, which can be electrified directly at the two poles of the
motor. By default, the marked red point position is positive pole and the other one is the
negative pole.
4. Specifications of screws
For beginners, it is easy to use the wrong size screw; so before the assembly, be sure to be
familiar with the following contents, which will enable you to install the differential car faster.
➢M2.5 series screws are used for fixing plastic parts, namely front and rear wheel seats,
differential.
➢M3 * 6mm screws are used to fix the motor bracket.
➢M3 * 8mm screws are used to fix the steering gear, steering gear bracket and copper
cylinder.
Assembly Notes:
➢The front anti-collision cotton needs to be finally installed so that the forward steering
structure can be easily adjusted.
➢When installing the front steering cup, keep rotation flexible, and the M2.5 * 8mm screws
cannot be fixed tightly.
➢Pay attention to the installation position of the rear wheel seat, install the seat with marked
Ron the left side and the seat with marked L on the right side.
➢The rear drive shaft shall be fixed to the differential before the wheel seat installation.
➢For the rear differential, adjust the angle before tightening the screw.
5. Assembly of the chassis
5.1 Fix steering cups and wheels

➢In this order: front rotating shaft - large bearing - steering cup - small bearing - bolt -
hexagon connector - wheels –locknut (M4)
➢The rotating shaft is loaded into the inner side of the steering cup through the large bearing.
When fixed, keep the bearing parallel to the inner side of the steering cup, and push the
bearing tightly to facilitate the installation of the head bolt
5.2 Connection of the ball stud to the steering cup
➢The long connecting rod is in the upper hole, connecting steering cups of two sides with the
hole spacing 65mm. Please fine tune if there is any deviation.
➢The short connecting rod is in the lower hole. Its one side is connected to the steering cup,
the other to the rudder angle. The long and short connecting rods are fixed in the different
holes, with the hole spacing 45mm.

5.3 Fix steering gear, rudder angle, steering ball stud
Brown - Ground

➢Fix the steering gear on the L-shaped bracket and fixed holes are circled in red. Pay attention
to the left and right positions of the steering gear output shaft.
➢Please calibrate the steering gear angle (90 degrees) before installing the rudder angle, and
control it to reach 90 degrees with the program.
➢Attach one end of the short ball stud to the rudder angle and the other end to the steering
cup.

5.4 Fixed steering assembly
➢The steering cup is fixed to the chassis, and kept to rotate flexibly, so as not to damage the
steering gear or the main board due to the locked-rotor during steering gear rotation.
➢Tightening the screws will cause the steering cup to be unable to rotate. If attached to the
steering gear, forced pulling may damage the steering gear and main board.
➢M3 * 26mm copper cylinders x 4

5.5 Drive assembly
lower support, wide in the inside and narrow in the outside
➢The rear wheel seat shall be fixed at last. The transmission shaft shall be fixed to the output
shaft first. The rear wheel shall be installed similar to the front wheel. Installation of rear
wheel seats shall be distinguished between left and right sides. Install the seat with marked
Ron the left side and the seat with marked L on the right side.
➢The lower support is a Z-type structure. Attention should be paid to the direction for the
assembly. It is wide close to the differential box and narrow in the wheel seat. If not clear,
please compare the same perspective as the one placed in the figure.
➢When fixing the upper support, please unscrew the screws before installing it.

5.6 Fix drive to the chassis
➢Install the plastic gear on the input shaft of the reduction gearbox, fix the lock screw to the
D-shaped plane, and fix it with the L-type wrench.
➢M2.5 * 8mmscrews x 4
➢54-teeth gear x 1
5.7 Install RS380 motor
M3*6mm: M3 self-tapping screw or M3*6mm
➢First fix the motor to the L-shaped bracket and then to the chassis.
➢Fixing the motor to the bracket can adjust the left and right positions of the motor to set the
tightness of the gear fit
➢Use M3 screws to fix the bracket
➢M2.5 * 5mm screws x 2 (flat-head screws)
➢M3 * 6mm screws x 3 (with gaskets)

5.8 Install anti-collision cotton
➢The holes circled in red are the fixed holes of the copper cylinders, and the anti-collision
cotton is pressed with gaskets.

B. Warnings
➢This product is not waterproof, and it is strictly prohibited to use in water or
moist environment.
➢Reverse connection to module power supply is prohibited.
➢Short circuit of anode and cathode is prohibited.
