Ins rumen Opera ion:
The instrument is switched on by pressing the on/off button located on
the front of the instrument. Within one second the thermometer is ready
to work. Apply the tip of the probe to the substance, medium or surface to
be measured. The instrument reading may take a few seconds to
stabilise, depending on the nature of the measurement.
MAX/MIN Memory Func ion:
Press MAX/MIN button to display the maximum reading and a MAX
symbol will flash in the display. Press the MAX/MIN button again to
display the minimum reading reading and a MIN symbol will flash in the
display. Press MAX/MIN button again to return to normal readings. To
clear the MAX/MIN temperature memory, press the MAX/MIN and
N/ FF buttons simultaneously.
Ba ery Replacemen :
Replace the battery using a 1.5V AAA or equivalent. The battery is
located under the sliding battery cover at the rear of the instrument.
EMC/RFI:
Instrument readings may be affected if the unit is operated within a radio
frequency electromagnetic field strength of approximately 3 volts per
metre.
Guaran ee:
This instrument is guaranteed for a period of one year from the date of
purchase against mechanical and electrical manufacturing defects. There
are no user serviceable parts inside the instrument. Any attempted repair
by unauthorised persons voids warranty. Return to York Survey Supply
Centre for service/repair.
