Youshiko YC8060 Radio control Digital Clock Analog Style
Initial set up:
Install the batteries in the clock and then leave it, Keep it well away
from other electronics devices nearby to avoid any interference , Radio
control signal can or may take time, depends on the location in UK, but
will pick up the signal within few minutes to few hours ( Max within
next 24h ), Clock will set UK time itself and then You don't have to do
anything ever.

3. Getting Started:
Open battery Cover (C1)
Insert 4 x AA size batteries observing polarity [“ +” and “ –“ marks]
Replace battery compartment cover
Place the unit onto flat surface, or wall mounted by the hanging hole; the unit is
ready for use now.
4. Time and Alarm Setting
4.1 Radio Controlled Time:
After batteries inserted, the clock automatically starts to scan the MSF time
signal.
Radio Control Icon“ ” flashes on the LCD.
(A4) flashes,
Indicating now is receiving
DCF signal
(A4) turns on,
Indicating signal received
successfully
(A4) disappear,
Indicating signal reception
failed
The clock automatically synchronized with the MSF radio signal every day at 2:00
& 3:00 a.m. to maintain accurate time keeping. If synchronization with the MSF
radio signal fails, “ ” on LCD disappear and the clock.
The clock can be set to scan the radio signal manually by holding “▼” button for
3 seconds. Each reception takes several minutes.
Stop scanning MSF radio signal by holding “▼”button for 3 seconds
“DST” shown on the LCD if it is in daylight saving time mode

4.2 Manual Time Setting:
In time display, hold “MODE/SET” button for 3 seconds to enter Clock/Calendar
setting Mode.
Press “▲”or “▼”button to adjust the setting and press “MODE/SET” button to
confirm each setting.
(By keeping the “▲”or “▼”button pressed, could accelerate the process and
reach the desired value more quickly)
The setting sequence is shown as follow: RCC ON/OFF, Hour, Minute, Year,
Month/Date Sequence, Month, Date, °C / °F(unit of temperature setting)
Note:
(1) All setting modes will automatically exit in around 15 seconds without any
adjustment
(2) In time display mode, press “▼”button to select the display with or without
second.
(3) In time display mode, press “▲”button to select the month/date sequence, and
the selection would be confirmed in around 5 seconds without any adjustment.
4.3 Alarm Setting:
Press “MODE/SET”button select to view alarm time, “ALARM TIME”display on
the LCD.
When view alarm time, hold “MODE/SET”button for 3 seconds to set alarm time,
press “▲”or “▼”button to adjust the alarm time. Press “MODE/SET” button to
confirm the setting.
4.4 Snooze Alarm Function:
Press “AL ON/OFF”to activate alarm function. Alarm icon “appears on the
display. Press “AL ON/OFF”button again to deactivate alarm function, alarm icon
“ ” disappear from the display.
Slide “ALARM MODE”switch to select the day for alarm function. There are three
options: from Monday to Sunday, from Monday to Saturday, from Monday to
Friday.
Press “SNOOZE”button when alarm alerts. “ ” flashes on the LCD. The alarm
snoozes for around 5 minutes, then it alerts again. The snooze function can be
enabled for maximum 7 times.

When alarm alerts, except “SNOOZE”button, press any other buttons to stop the
alarm. Otherwise, the alarm signal sounds for about 2 minutes, then stops
automatically.
5. Thermometer
The temperature measurement range is -9.9°C to +50°C . If the temperature is out
of the measurable range, LL.L (beyond the minimum temperature) or HH.H
(beyond the maximum temperature) will be shown on the LCD.
6. Precautions
The clock loses its time information when the battery is removed.
Do not expose it to direct sunlight, heavy heat, cold, high humidity or wet areas
Never clean the device using abrasive or corrosive materials or products. Abrasive
cleaning agents may scratch plastic parts and corrode electronic circuits

end of its useful life to a proper disposal. The valuable materials
contained in the device are supplied to recycling and avoid the burden of
the environment. Please take this device to a collection point for
electronic waste or a recycling center.
Remove the batteries from the unit before disposing of it and dispose of them

separately.
Consumer is legally obliged to dispose of used batteries at a collection point
for used batteries, at a local recycling center or at the battery point of sale, for
further information, contact your local waste disposal company or local
government.
