Technical Guide
ZEEKO
2013 KRUSH
Krush, 3rd edition, marks a new step for last generation freestyle kites.
This new version was completely revisited :
> A new design of tip
> The "Virtual Strut Design"
> A wider aspect ratio
> New accessories facilitating the daily use : deflating valve on the tip, new aerodynamic leading
edge extremity
The kite gets more «pop», allows a better lines slack for unhooked tricks and reactivity is
improved. Thanks to the wider aspect ratio, the kite sheets out on a shorter distance.
These characteristics associated with ultra-strengthened construction make Krush the best
versatile freestyle competition kite of its category.
FREESTYLE WHITHOUT CONCESSION
NEW COLORWAY
12M / 10M / 9M / 7M
DARK GREY DARK BLUE
DARK PINK YELLOW BLUE
> A short bridage, without pulley (1), effective for freestyle, 3 strengthened attachment points on
the leading edge (2) and anti-inversion system to connect lines --> Swifty Bridle System
> Always 3 possible kite trimming, ready to be optimized according to the wanted feeling in bar.
The compromise between bar pressure and turning speed adapts itself according to the rider
style.
> Velcro pockets (3) : you can insert the extension lines inside if you switch from 24m
configuration to 20m lines length.
> One-pump (4)
> Best & quicker relaunching system E.R.A (5)
> No scale design between different kite size : every size is developed and tested according to
the wind range in which it will be requested.
«OLD BENEFITS» OF KRUSH
1 2
345
> VIRTUAL STRUT DESIGN
The central strut is straight, assembled with the canopy by a piece of spinnaker cloth (1).
This caracteristic increases the kite «pop» (for freestyle tricks) while keeping a lot of stability.
Associated with skinnier tips and a wider aspect ratio, the kite is very intuitive in unhooked
mooves, improve its upwind ability and keep the stability of a lower kite ratio.
(R)EVOLUTIONS BY ZEEKO
1
1
1
> NO DRAG LEADING EDGE
The leading edge extremity is reduced at most -> The kite drag is reduced at the tip.
This diameter reduction at the leading edge extremity allows bridle not to be stuck during launch
on the sand, or relaunch in the water -> Always more safety
This new assembly also improves the kite finishing.
> NEW DEFLATING VALVE
There is a new deflating valve on the tip, allowing a deflation and a folding of the kite super quick
and practice.
This valve helps in particular in case of folding in the strong wind !
> WIDER ASPECT RATIO
The shape of Krush 2013 was completely modified with a wider aspect ratio.
This evolution, associated with Virtual Strut and skinnier tips, allows to increase pop of the kite
while having a slack of lines more important during unhooked tricks -> facilitating handle passes.
Thanks to Virtual Strut, the kite keeps a remarkable stability giving confidence to learn new
tricks.
The reduction of leading edge diameter gives more acceleration and lift to the kite and allowing a
good planning during jumps.
Finally, the increase of aspect ratio and skinnier tips reduce the distance of the bar to sheet out
-> The comfort in strong and irregular wind is improved.
KRUSH 2012 KRUSH 2013
> NEW REINFORCEMENTS / STRENGTHENED CONSTRUCTION
New PVC material for patches strengthening segments of the leading edge.
The "Backbone structure" bring an unequalled kite solidity, in particular with dacrons
reinforcements on tips.
PROFITS IN 2013
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wider aspect ratio
+Skinnier tips
+Virtual Strut
= Powerfull pop & Slack of lines in unhooked mooves

FREESTYLE BRIDAGE : SWIFTY BRIDLE SYSTEM
Improve the pop. The lines slack decreases bar pressure and increases big
kites handiness. Bridage is 25% shorter than a classic one.
BACKBONE STRUCTURE
Kite structure made with dacron.
Kite is unbreakable and get more reactivity.
OPTIMIZED AIRFLOW DESIGN
Designs used on ZEEKO kites result from 10 years of R&D and aerodynamic
numeric simulation. Each design optimized according its position, program
and kite size.
5 STRUTS
More rigidity. Ideal for unhooked and freestyle riding.
LEADING EDGE CONICAL SECTIONS
Maintains kite rigidity, allowing kite twist in navigation, optimal for kite turning
ability.
ERA
Assisted relaunching in any event, best performance ever in light wind. Best
relaunching system. Easy of use.
ONE PUMP
Sparing time during inflating. External system, strengthened & bomb proof.
PULLEY FREE BRIDLE SYSTEM
More reactivity.
Ideal for freestyle riding.
VARIABLE GEOMETRY KITE
More reactivity and rigidity. The kite shape is more open in light wind and it
closes in strong wind to reduce the projected area.
NO SCALE DESIGN
Each kite size has been meticulously thought about and designed separately
to meet the precise requirements for its performance. The ratios of the 3
sizes are independent and have been optimized in function of specific wind
strengths.
