1 General Description
1.1 General Description
GM8802C-E weighing transmitter is a small instrument
which is widely used in weight-transmitted industry field.
1.2 Functions and Features
Small dimension to operate easier.
Suitable for all resistance strain sensors.
Calibration and parameters through outer digital
operational panel GM8891C Indicator (or PC).
Multilevel digital filter.
Automatic zero tracking.
Automatic zeroing when power up.
Analog output: 4-20mA / 0-20mA / 0-10V / 0-5V / 1-5V

2 Installation
2.1 Connection of Load Cell
Please refer to the picture in 2.1 to connect load
cells to the GM8802C-E transmitter. When you chose
the four-wired load cells, you must bridge the SN+ with
EX+ and bridge the SN- with EX-.
Because the input signal of the sensor is a analog
signal, it is more sensitive to electronic noise, so this
signal transmission should adopt the shielding cable ,
and should separate its from other cables to lay , should
not tie up it together . The signal cable should be far
away from exchanging the power.

2.2 Connection of Power Supply
GM8802C-E transmitter uses 24V direct-current
power and the connection as follows:
24-: Negative pole

+: Positive pole

2.3 Connection of Analog Output
GM8802C-E transmitter can change the current
weight value into analog output, the output interfaces
are : Vout，Iout and GND as follows:
Here:
Vout：Analog output positive
GND:Common ground
Iout：Analog output negative

2.4 Connecting with GM8891C Indicator
Without screen and keyboard, GM8802C-E need
connect with the digital operational panel GM8891C in
calibration by communication interface to set
parameters and digital display (COM indicator light will
flash for success connection and communication).
GM8891C indicator will display the parameters,
weighing value and working status of GM8802C-E
transmitter, and also can operate GM8802C-E by
keyboard , such as calibration and parameters setting
on GM8802C-E. If fail to be connected with GM8802C-E
transmitter, GM8891C indicator can’t power up.

The main display：6bits，displaying the weight data/analog
output and relevant data.
Status indicator lights：

ZERO：Zero point, lights up when the weight on the
weighing platform or hopper is 0±1/4d.
STAB：Stable，lights up when the weighing value is
within stability criterion range.
DATA: lights up when it display mA (or V) output.
Keyboard：
:Zeroing and exit from the current function status.
: Choose the parameter items.
: Choose the functions of parameter setting.
: Confirm when setting parameters or calibration.
