1. ASSEMBLE WATER TUB
To verify there were no punctures in transit, move the tub to an outdoor area and fill up
to ten inches. If you have any leaks contact us immediately.
NOTE: Poles are threaded through sleeves on the water tub.
Tel: 801-871-5140
Email: [email protected]
NOTE: Make sure open end of corner pieces point toward the center of Float
Tent. Also, don’t forget to connect center pole bases with the structure strap.
6

2. ASSEMBLE PYRAMID FRAME
Assemble the frame onto existing tub, then make the final connection at the tip of
pyramid last.
7

3. CHOOSE PROPER PLACEMENT
Choose a prefered location that will be at least 68 degrees Fahrenheit.
Allow at least 1 ft (30cm) of space between the Float Tent and room walls for
maintenance.
NOTE: If your tent is located in a cooler room with a tile or concrete floor, we strongly
recommend that you add insulation between your heating pads and floor. It is
recommended to place your tent in a room that maintains approx. 70 degrees F or
higher.
LOAD BEARING CAPACITY &
WATER
The Float Tent is intended for use by one person at a time. Confirm
that floor load bearing capacities are able to support the Float Tent
weight when filled and occupied. Calculate at approximately 70 lbs
(31.7 kg) per square foot + body weight.
8

IMPORTANT
VERIFY THE PADS ARE THE CORRECT SIDE UP!
They will have markings on each pad to verify which side is up.
Lay down radiant pads so they are just barely touching each other.
BURNS
Use heating pads only as directed. Confirm that the heating element
in the heating pad is facing upward. While the heating pad is
activated, do not leave in contact with any object other than the
waterproof liner as directed, and avoid direct contact of skin with the
heating pad.
9

4. PLACE LINER AND TANK IN PLACE
With heating pads properly placed, cover with waterproof liner and place the tub
directly over pads. The liner should stick out evenly on three sides, but there should be
excess on the side where the tent door will face. With the liner in place, the tub will sit
exactly over them. To avoid damage, make sure tub legs are not on top of pads.
NOTE: The side of the tub you will enter on has three big loose loops of canvas inside
the tub to hold the filter. Position the side with filter loops on the end the door will face.
IMPORTANT
NOTE: Keep poles off
of heating pads.
10

5. INSTALL FILTRATION SYSTEM
A. Premade Joint Piece
B. Pump & UV Filter
C. Filter Bag (at front of tank)
D. T Joint
E. Elbow Joint
1. Start by setting pump (B) in place and installing the magnetic hold down strap.
You will set the shorter magnetic strap under your tub first, then the longer one
will go over pump and cling to the tub bottom.
11

2. Once your pump (B) is in the right position and magnetized in place with the
strap, attach the premade joint piece (A) on top of it. This would be the time to
make sure it aligns well with your filter bag (C) in place. Adjustment may be
necessary.
3. Once A,B, and C are in place it is time to add the rest of the filtration line. The
hoses should connect together with some force. Be sure to use the T connector
in the middle, followed by the elbow at the end.
6. PLUG - IN AND VERIFY SAFETY
Plug Grounding Probe, Temperature Controller, and UV Pump into the GFCI outlet. For
safety, the tank water should be electrically grounded due to a possible induced current
from the heaters. Make sure the Grounding Probe is plugged in and submerged at all
times.
12

NOTE: Plug in the pads temporarily to verify they werenít damaged in transit. The
pads will heat almost too hot to touch.
Plug everything with the tank through the GFCI provided or one of your choosing.
GFCI’s cut the power if the electricity ever comes in contact with the water. If an
accident were to happen, they will save your life! Test them once a month with the test
button. If it powers off they are good. Be sure your GFCI is at least plug height, not
lower.
IMPORTANT
EVERYTHING MUST PLUG IN GFCI
NEVER PLUG ANYTHING NEAR YOUR TANK INTO THE WALL
DIRECTLY. EVERYTHING SHOULD PLUG INTO A GFCI
DEVICE. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN SERIOUS
INJURY OR DEATH.
13

RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK
Plug Install the Float Tent at least three feet from all electrical
outlets and metal surfaces. Do not allow any electric appliance
within three feet of the Float Tent, and never introduce electric
appliances into the water, as this may result in serious bodily
injury or death.
7. FILL TANK WITH EPSOM SALT
Install inline filter to the hose you are using to fill your tent.
p
NOTE : To make sure no carbon from your filter enters your tank, run about 5
gallons of water through the filter into a drain, or until water runs clear.
This part takes time. Don’t rush it, just enjoy the process.
After adding 2 to 3 inches (5 to 7.5 cm) of water start smoothing out creases on the tub
floor. Once smooth, continue to fill the tank with 5 inches (13cm) of water. Add 100 lbs
(45 kg) of salt at a time, mixing in fully as you go.
NOTE: We provide 850 lbs (385 kg) of salt per pallet, you won’t use it all to fill
your tank. Only 800 lbs (363 kg).
14

Agitate water and salt by stirring and mixing. It may be easiest to stand in the water
and mix it around with your feet. Once 800 lbs (363 Kg) of salt is added, fill until the
water level reaches 10 inches (25.5 cm).
ADDITIVES AND SALT INGESTION
Do not add additives (such as bubble bath and bath salts) to the
water in the Float Tent, other than Epsom salt as directed. Do not
ingest the water in the Float Tent.
15

PROPERTY DAMAGE
Do not overfill the Float Tent. Never leave the Float Tent
unattended when filling with water. Be aware that water rises as
you enter the Float Tent. Avoid using sharp objects when near the
Float Tent as this could puncture the Float Tent and cause
flooding. Always drain the Float Tent as directed before moving
the Float Tent to prevent flooding. Always detach the tent from the tub before
disassembling the tent. Never pull on the tent to remove poles.
SUITABLE INSURANCE
Improper use of this product may create certain risks of damage
to person and property, including water damage. Please consult
with your insurance advisor for information about suitable
insurance coverage.
8. TURN ON AND VERIFY SETTINGS
Plug the two heating pads into the Temperature Controller. Plug the UV Filter in.
The first thing you will notice is a slight glow from the UV filter. The Temperature will
now display a temperature detected by the attached temperature sensor. Securely
place sensor in the water toward the bottom of the tank to allow the Temperature
Controller to auto-regulate water temperature through heating pads. Set Temperature
Controller to : 93.5º F (34º C)
Anticipate the temperature rising approximately 1º F (1/2º C) , per hour.
To set the temperature controller,
single click bottom button to set the
temperature, and use the top and
middle buttons to adjust
16

To change degrees to Celsius hold the top and middle (up and down) buttons
simultaneously for three seconds.
You should now see the heating indicator light turn on and within minutes be able to
feel warmth coming up through the pads in your tank.
17

9. INSTALL TENT COVER
Float Tent Cover will have a tight fit. Work each corner one at a time sliding them down
a few inches each time around.
18

10. INSTALL TENT DOOR
Door poles go in sleeves located around the perimeter of both the tent wall and tent
door flap. Each pole will have a number on it. Insert poles in their corresponding pole
sleeves as illustrated below.
NOTE: The poles tend to shift when using the tank regularly. You can use a small
piece (½”x1”) of double-sided foam tape to secure them in place if you prefer.
19

11. INSTALL AIR VENTS
Insert vent stem through vent holes on the back of the Float Tent and snap together
with the other half of the vent on the other side. Tuck in three tabs to start and use
finger to tuck the fourth in.
NOTE: We provide super glue in a patch kit provided with your tank. Many users
apply a small drop or two of this glue on their inside vents to keep them in place
indefinitely. That way you will never bump them off while floating or cleaning.
ASPHYXIATION
Lack of ventilation may cause injury or death. Before entering
the Float Tent, confirm that the air vent stems are inserted as
directed and functioning properly.
