TALKING ROBOT BANK MODEL NO: 3416
Congratulations on purchasing a Talking Robot Bank which recognizes stores and
counts all your UK coins. Please read below instructions to explore all the features of
this interactive Talking Robot Bank.

Battery Precautions
1. Alkaline batteries recommended.
2. Do not use rechargeable batteries.
3. Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
4. New and used batteries should not to be mixed.
5. Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used.
6. Different types of batteries are not to be mixed.
7. Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
8. Keep batteries away from children.
9. Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy.
10. Exhausted batteries are disposed according to local legal requirements. Do not dispose of
them by throwing away with normal household rubbish.
11. Avoid short circuiting the contacts in the battery compartment and battery terminals.
12. Remove batteries from the unit if it will be not used for long period of time.
Installing the batteries
Your Robot bank requires 4 X AA batteries (2 for sound &
display and 2 for the movement). For best performance we
recommend to use alkaline batteries.
1. Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the screw from the
battery compartment cover, as shown in the illustration,
and remove the cover.
2. Insert the batteries in the compartment as indicated by the
polarity symbols (+ and -) marked inside.

3. Replace the cover and tighten the screw. When the robot stops operating properly, replace with
new batteries.
Note:
When the robot bank stops operating properly or if the display becomes dim, or the sound
becomes weak, replace with new batteries in the CLOCK compartment. When the Robot
bank doesn't move the arms, mouth and eyes, replace new batteries in MOTOR compartment.
FUNCTION INSTRUCTIONS
Setting the Clock
- In Normal Time Mode, press and hold SET key for about
2 seconds, the year digits will flash.
- Press or key on the four-direction keypad to set the
correct year.
- Press key on keypad to confirm the year, month will flash.
- Press or key on keypad to set the correct month.
- Press key on keypad to confirm the month and date digits will flash.
- Repeat steps 4 and 5 to set date, hour and minutes. (The 12-hour or 24-hour format appears
alternately).
- To confirm time and date settings, press SET key.
Note: To return to previous entry during setting process, press key on the keypad.
Setting the Alarm
- In Normal Time Mode, press the ALARM key to enter the Alarm Mode. Alarm time and on/off
status will be displayed.
- To set the alarm time, press and hold SET key for two seconds, hour digits will flash.
- Press or key on the keypad to set the correct hours.
- Press key on the keypad, minute digits will flash.
- Press or key on keypad to set the correct minutes.
- Press SET key to confirm the setting and Robot Bank will announces alarm time (only when
the SOUND function is set to ON position).
- To turn alarm on or off, press or key on keypad.

Note: Alarm will sound when alarm time is reached and Robert Bank will say “Hey! It’s time to wake
up.” Press any key to stop the alarm. The announcement will only be made if the SOUND function is
set to ON position otherwise only the alarm sound will be heard.
Setting the Target Savings Amount
- In Normal Time Mode, press TARGET key to enter the Target Saving Mode, Robot will
announce to set target savings amount.
- To set the target savings amount, press and hold SET key for about 2 seconds, pound amount
will flash.
- Press or key on keypad to set the pound amount, maximum limit is up to £99.00.
- Press key on keypad to confirm target pound amount, pence amount will flash.
- Press or key on keypad to set the pence amount.
- Press key on keypad to confirm pence amount, savings duration digits in days will flash.
- Press or key on keypad to set the savings duration in days, maximum limit is up to 99
days.
- Press SET key to confirm settings. Robot will announce target savings amount (only when the
SOUND function is set to ON position).
To Deposit
To deposit coin, simply insert coins in the coin slot, the robot recognizes and announces each coin as
you insert it into the bank (only when the announcement is set to ON position).
Getting Your Balance
To find out the current amount saved, press Total key, Robot bank displays and announces your total
amount (only when the SOUND function is set to ON position).
Make a Withdraw
- To withdraw a portion of your savings, press WITHDRAW key, Robot bank will make the
announcement tries to persuade you not to withdraw your savings, pound amount flashes.
- Press or key on keypad to select pound amount.
- Press key on keypad to confirm pound amount, pence amount will flash.

- Press or key on keypad to select pence amount.
- Press SET key to confirm withdrawal amount.
- To remove withdrawal amount from your robot bank, open the coin compartment cover on the
bottom of the unit and remove the desired withdrawal amount.
Robot Announcements
Whenever you come within range of the robot bank, he moves his arms, eyes & mouth, and tells you
the current time, and announces a number of different announcements for different situations.
When Alarm time is up, Robot says: “Hey! It’s time to wake up.”
At normal situation or After you have set the target savings amount, but not yet to reach your goal,
whenever you come close to your robot bank, he says one of the following:
“ I’m hungry. Please fill me up !”
“ Please remember to save today!”
“ Don’t forget to insert coins today!”
“ You have almost achieved your target. Please add more!”
“ How are you?”
“ Have a nice day.”
“ How do you do?”
“Hi!”“ Hello!”
After you have reached your target savings amount, whenever you come close to your robot bank, he
says one of the following:
“ How are you?”
“ Have a nice day.”
“ How do you do?”
“ Hi!”
“ Hello!”
Once you insert the last coin to reach your target savings amount, robot bank says:

“ Well done, you did it! You have met your goal. Great job!”
·When you want to withdraw your savings, robot bank says:
“Uh-oh! I hope you have a good reason for withdrawing your savings.”
Sound On/Off Status
- To display sound on/off status, press SOUND key, On/Off status appears in the LCD screen.
- Press or key on keypad to change the sound status.
- Press SET to confirm sound status.
Note: When the Sound has been turned off, the Robot bank does not make any
announcement and does not make any movement when you come close to it.
Resetting the Robot
If your Robot bank is not working properly or does not respond
to your input press the RESET key located on the battery cover,
all settings will be cleared. You must set the time, date and
target savings amount again.
