Specifications
Note: The only model hoods which will use the metal carbon filter brackets are
the ZPY-E30x,ZPY-E36x,ZTA-E30x,ZTA-E36x and ZSA-M90S. The rest of
the above Zephyr hoods have diffuser panels built into them behind the metallic
filter. You may discard the metal bracket which came with your carbon filter kit if
you are using the carbon filters on a hood which has a diffuser panel. To install
carbon filters, just snap them into the diffuser panels..

Installation

Follow the instructions below for installing the carbon filters to your metallic filters.
1. Install metal bracket onto metallic filter from
hood by sliding one end of the metal bracket
underneath the backside of the gray handle as
shown above.
2. Push two corner tabs into metallic filter
frame to lock it in. If pushing tabs in is difficult,
gently lift up on the corner lip of the bracket
near the gray handle and push down on the
corner tab.
3. Install carbon filter onto metal bracket with
plastic side up. Insert bottom side of carbon
filter where the tab cut-outs are first.
4. Push carbon filter down and click locking
tabs in place.
5. Installation complete.

Cleaning and Contact Information
Carbon filters are not meant to be cleaned. DO NOT place carbon
filters in the dishwasher or soak them in soapy water. Under normal
usage, carbon filters should be replaced every 4 - 6 months.
Carbon filters may need to be replaced more frequently if you do
much deep frying or if cooking odors are more noticeable.
