Description and characteristics of the device
The set consists of the medolight device and the AC adapter. The device is
used to radiate with light emitted by LED in the range of visible light and inf-
rared light wavelengths.
Principle of operation
The medolight BluDoc device is equipped with a matrix consisting of 171 blue
LEDs (emitting light with wavelength of 470nm) and 36 infrared LEDs (emitting
infrared light with a wavelength of 940nm). The device is powered up by a
built-in battery which can be charged using the AC adapter included with the
device. It is possible to use the device while the battery is being charged. Ho-
wever, it increases the charging process. The unit is controlled by a micropro-
cessor. You can select one of five programs and one of five radiation durations.
The processor controls the battery charging status and indicates the need of
charging.
How to use
The medolight devices are an important part of a daily body care.
1. The device can be used 1-2 times a day for 1-2 cycles (1 cycle from 5 to
25 minutes). The device can be used at any time when you have time and
opportunity to enjoy biostimulation. According to specialists the best re-
sults are achieved when using medolight device in the morning and eve-
ning.
2. Before using the medolight device, clean and disinfect the area subjected
to radiation.
3. Relax and direct the stream of light to the place undergoing treatmen
from a distance of about 5 mm. While using the device, make sure that, if
possible, the stream of light does not move. For large surfaces you should
gradually direct the stream to next areas by moving the device to the non-
-radiated area after radiating the previous one.
Device Operation
1. Activation
Press and hold the ON/OFF button by at least 2s. Bottom icon bar (5-25) will
indicate the battery status for 2 s – number of lit icons indicates the battery
charging status. Then, program selection icon will light up (P1-P5) along
with the time selection icon (5-25), in line with last settings before stand-by
mode.
2. Program selection
Pressing the „P” button (PROGRAM) changes the radiation program signal-
led by lighting the appropriate icon with red light:
P1 –continuous light
P2 – pulsating light 10 Hz
P3 – pulsating light 600 Hz
P4 – pulsating light 3000 Hz
P5 – pulsating light 8000 Hz

3. Setting the radiation time
By pressing the „T” button (TIME) you can select the radiation time in sequ-
ences 5 min 10 min 15 min 20 min 25 min 5 min… signal-
led by the icon being backlit with green light.
4. Radiation
After selecting the radiating program and time, briefly press the ON/OFF
button. LED matrix is now lit. Direct the light on the place to be radiated.
5. Pause
At any time, briefly pressing the ON/OFF button will turn off the LED matrix.
Selection of a given program (P1-P5) and the time remaining to the end of
radiation (5-25 min) are lit up.
If within 1 minute you briefly press the ON/OFF button again, radiating will
be resumed. If within 1 minute you do not press the ON/OFF button again,
the device will go into the sleep mode. During the pause it is possible to
change the program and the radiation time by pressing the „P” (PROGRAM)
or „T” (TIME) buttons (sections 2 and 3). You can end the radiation procedu-
re by pressing the ON/OFF button for 2 seconds.
6. Radiation end
Radiating will automatically end after the selected time and the device will
go into the sleep mode. Radiating can be finished by pressing the ON/OFF
button for 2 seconds at any moment. After a short beep, the device will go
into the sleep mode.

7. Low battery indication
Low battery status is indicated by four short beeps You must recharge the
device – see section 8. If you are using the device, it will remind you that
you need to recharge the device with four short beeps every 15s. If you do
not plug the charger, the device will beep for 2 seconds and then go into
the sleep mode.
8. Charging the battery
After you connect the cable and turn on the charger, some of the icons
in the bottom bar will lit up proportionally to the battery voltage. Icons
will be lighting up proportionally to the voltage increase. You will hear an
acoustic signal for 1s when the charging is complete and the device will
get deactivated. The last icon remains lit until you disconnect the charger.
Turning the charger on during operation starts battery charging but is not
indicated and does not interrupt the currently executed program function.
CAUTION: In the case of the battery being completely discharged,
connecting the charger may not be immediately indicated. The indi-
cation may appear after a few minutes. It is not a fault but a natural
feature of the battery.
9. Operating while recharging.
If you press and hold the ON/OFF button for 2s while the battery is re-
charging, the device gets activated Normal device operation is possible.
Battery recharging is independent from the radiating process. After the
end of the radiation the device will start indicating the recharging until its
completion.
