INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchase of the IR 66B Thermometer. This device is a non-contact SPECIFICATION
(infrared) thermometer. Simply aim the thermometer at the target and press the
measurement button to display the surface temperature. The distance to target ratio
is 1:1 therefore the thermometer should be positioned as close to the target as possible.

To change the IR66B from ‘ºC’ to ‘ºF’ or from ‘ºF’ to ‘ºC’, firstly turn the instrument on by IR sensor
pressing the measurement button, then press the mode button four times, the ‘ºC’ or ‘ºF’ LCD Display
symbol will flash, press the measurement key to change to scale, then press the Measurement button

MINIMUM or MAXIMUM Mode Battery Cover
To utilize the IR66B Min(minimum) or Max(maximum) mode, firstly turn theinstrument on
by pressing the measurement button, then press the mode button once for MAX or twice BATTERY REPLACEMENT
for MIN function. The ‘MIN’or ‘MAX’icon will flash, then press the measurement button As battery power is not sufficient, LCD will display “ ” replacement with CR2032.
to confirm the Min or Max mode. The IR66B will display the Min or Max reading only. The battery is located under the twist cover at the rear of the IR66B. Open battery cover,
then take out the battery from instrument and replace with a new CR2032 battery and
LOCK MODE place the battery cover back.
The lock mode is particularly useful for continuous monitoring of temperatures . Please note:It is important to turn the instrument off before replacing the battery
to utilize the IR66B’s LOCK mode. firstly turn the instrument on by pressing the otherwise the IR66B may malfunction.

MAINTENANCE & CLEARING
The sensor lens is the most delicate part of the IR66B . The lens should be kept clean at all
times, care should be taken when cleaning the lens using only a soft cloth or cotton swab
with water or medical alcohol, Don’t use abrasives or solvents on this instrument. Allowing
the lens to fully dry before using the IR66B, Don’t submerge any part of the IR66B .The IR66B
should be stored at room temperature.
When serving, use only specified replacement parts.
