ATTEMPTING TO RIDE YOUR ZINGO BLAZE. KEEP THIS USER MANUAL
FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
CAUTION

Our nationwide Service Centres carry spares and back-up parts for your ZINGO
BLAZE. For best long-term performance it is highly recommended that you visit
your nearest Service Centre to give your ZINGO BLAZE a service every 3 months.

Make sure to use protective gear in the form of elbow and knee pads as well as a
helmet and appropriate footwear. Gloves and goggles are recommended.
Riders will become accustomed to riding the ZINGO BLAZE over time. Accidents can
occur when given to someone who has never ridden a ZINGO BLAZE before. Exercise
caution when allowing a first time rider to get onto the ZINGO BLAZE. The rider
should be instructed on how to ride the ZINGO BLAZE (see full details on “HOW TO
RIDE YOUR ZINGO BLAZE” on page 4).
Use caution when riding and make sure to always be aware of your surroundings so
as to avoid any pedestrians, other riders, animals or fixed obstacles that may cause
you, or you may cause, any injury. The ZINGO BLAZE is not designed to withstand any
extreme manoeuvres.
Do not attempt to perform any tricks or extreme manoeuvres on the ZINGO
BLAZE. Evidence of such abuse will render your warranty void.
Assess riding conditions before making use of the ZINGO BLAZE, and do not ride
through any gravel, mud, water, sand or on any off-road surface. Do not ride your
ZINGO BLAZE in the rain, or through any adverse weather conditions. The
electrical and drive components could be damaged by riding through the aforemen-
tioned elements or surfaces and will render your warranty void.
RIDING CONDITIONS & APPROPRIATE APPAREL
The ZINGO BLAZE is not intended to be used on public roads where there are
cars, buses, taxis or any other licensed motor vehicles. Make sure to familiarize
yourself with the traffic rules and regulations in your area to determine where it
is safe for you to ride your ZINGO BLAZE .
Riding the ZINGO BLAZE can result in serious injury or even death regardless of
the ability of the rider, any factory fault, any precautions taken or conditions in
which they (the rider) were riding in. Make sure that you are both able and
competent to handle the ZINGO BLAZE. Parents should be made aware that the
ZINGO BLAZE is not for children under the age of 8, or weighing less than 20kg
and further still, that riders above this age and weight should show a suitable
degree of awareness, skill and ability to handle a ride-on of this nature.
MAXIMUM RIDER WEIGHT LIMIT: 70kg
The ZINGO BLAZE is designed for only one rider at a time.

SPEED CONTROL
Press forwards to increase speed. Press
backwards to brake.Do not increase
speed too suddenly or brake too suddenly
DIRECTION CONTROL
When set to “FWD” the board will move
forwards when increasing speed. When
set to “BWD” the board will move
backwards when increasing speed

LEARN BUTTON
Pairs the Remote Control with
the skateboard. Your Remote
Control is already paired with
your ZINGO BLAZE. If you lose
your Remote Control,
then use the following
instructions to pair a
new Remote Control:
Switch on both the skateboard & the
Remote Control, then hold down the Pairing
Button (10) on the skateboard & press the
Learn Button on the Remote Control at the
same time with a pointed object. Hold for 3
seconds until you hear a beep to confirm
that the pairing is successful.
ON/OFF
Switches the remote control On or Off.
The remote will only respond when the
skateboard is also powered on

• Place your hand through the Safety
Lanyard (as shown in the picture on the right)

• Place your index finger through the
ergonomically designed hole and use your
thumb to operate the Speed Control

HOW TO RIDE YOUR ZINGO BLAZE

• Place your ZINGO BLAZE on a flat, dry surface in front of you. Make sure your
ZINGO BLAZE and Remote Control are both fully charged
• Switch on your ZINGO BLAZE by pressing the On/Off Switch (11) to the “-” position
• The Battery Indicator Lights (8) will light up showing the battery charge status
• Familiarize yourself with the Remote Control (13) as decribed below before
attempting to ride your ZINGO BLAZE

• Once you are familiar with operating the Remote Control, stand on your ZINGO
BLAZE and practice by accelerating slowly and evenly. Crouching low and holding
the rail of the deck with one hand can help to stabilize yourself
• When riding your ZINGO BLAZE, DO NOT ACCELERATE OR BRAKE SUDDENLY.
This can cause you to fall. Rather accelerate slowly and when stopping, allow
your ZINGO BLAZE to coast to a standstill by releasing the Speed Control button
• ONLY THE RIDER SHOULD OPERATE THE REMOTE CONTROL
• To switch off your ZINGO BLAZE, press the On/Off Switch towards the “O”
position
• Keep your body centred over the middle of your ZINGO BLAZE
• Do not ride your ZINGO BLAZE on any incline of more than 15˚
• Beware of overhead obstacles and uneven terrain which may cause injury

CHARGING YOUR ZINGO BLAZE BATTERY
When the Battery Indicator Lights (8) on the side of your ZINGO BLAZE indicate that
the battery is low, or if you notice that your ZINGO BLAZE’s performance is reduced,
you must recharge the battery.
To charge, place the charger plug into the wall socket and the charger jack into the
ZINGO BLAZE’s charging port (7) as shown below.
The light on the top of the charger will glow red while charging. When it turns green
your battery is fully charged - unplug the charger immediately.
In order to take good care of your ZINGO BLAZE’s battery, ensure that you
adhere to the following:
• Always remove the charger as soon as the charger indicator light turns
green
• DO NOT charge your ZINGO BLAZE for longer than 2 hours at a time as
this will damage the battery and void your warranty
• Charge your ZINGO BLAZE once every 2 weeks. This will maintain the
range and power of your battery
FAILURE TO ADHERE TO THE POINTS ABOVE WILL RENDER YOUR
WARRANTY VOID.
Do not expose batteries to fire as they may leak or explode and may injure
those close by and/or cause damage to nearby surroundings. Consult your local
authorities for information on how to dispose of your batteries.
IMPORTANT - BATTERY CARE

Maintenance tasks:
• Always remove your ZINGO BLAZE from the charger as soon as the charger
indicator light turns green
• NEVER CHARGE YOUR ZINGO BLAZE FOR LONGER THAN 2 HOURS AT A TIME
• Check that there is no damage to your ZINGO BLAZE, that the wheels and
trucks are still in good condition
• Regularly clean your ZINGO BLAZE with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Make
sure that no water comes in contact with any electrical parts, including the
power button, charging port or wheels
Storage tips:
• Store your ZINGO BLAZE indoors in a dry place
• Ensure that your ZINGO BLAZE is fully charged when storing. Charge your
ZINGO BLAZE once every 2 weeks in order to keep the battery in good condition
• Your ZINGO BLAZE must not be kept in an environment that is too cold or too hot
• Store your ZINGO BLAZE in its original box to prevent dust accumulating
The maximum travel distance of your ZINGO BLAZE will depend on several factors,
including:
• Terrain: Smooth, flat ground will increase travel distance. Rough or bumpy
ground will reduce travel distance. Do not use your ZINGO BLAZE on gravel,
mud, water, sand or on any off-road surface. Do not ride your ZINGO BLAZE in the
rain, or through any adverse weather conditions
• Rider weight: A light rider will increase travel distance. A heavier rider will
reduce travel distance. The maximum rider weight is 70kg
• Ambient temperature: Extreme hot or cold environments will reduce travel
distance
• Maintenance: Following the recommended battery charging and care
instructions will increase travel distance. Failure to maintain the battery will
reduce travel distance. Regularly check the wheels and all other moving parts
• Speed and riding style: Keeping a medium speed will increase travel distance.
Frequent stopping and starting or accelerating and decelerating will reduce
travel distance

TROUBLESHOOTING
ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY DISPOSAL
Do not dispose of electrical appliances or batteries with general municipal waste. Hazardous
substances can leak and contaminate the groundwater, affecting the food chain and ultimately
damaging the environment and your health. Contact your local municipality for information on safe
disposal in your area.

to a Tevo Service Centre.

at the top of the web page. Select “ZINGO BLAZE” from the drop-down menu, complete
the form, enter the serial number and agree to the terms and conditions.
Please ensure that you retain your receipt as proof of purchase. You will not qualify for
your warranty should you not have it.
The ZINGO BLAZE limited warranty covers manufacturing defects only for a period of one
hundred and eighty (180) days from the original date of purchase. This limited warranty
does not cover normal wear and tear, wheels or body work nor any damage, failure or
loss caused by improper assembly, maintenance, storage or use of the product.
This Limited Warranty will be void if the product is ever:
• Used in a manner other than for recreation
• Tampered with in any way
• Modified in any way
• Rented
The manufacturer is not liable for incidental or consequential loss or damage due directly
or indirectly to the use or misuse of this product.
Please note that your ZINGO BLAZE will not be covered under warranty if you ride
through any gravel, mud, water, sand or on any off-road surface. The electrical and drive
components could be damaged by riding through the aforementioned elements or
surfaces.
NEVER wash your ZINGO BLAZE with a hose, rather use a damp cloth to wipe it clean,
paying particular attention in ensuring that the power button, charging port, motor and
all eclectrical components are kept free of water and moisture.
