juiste zorg zult u er vele jaren plezier van hebben. Lees de gebruikershandleiding goed door voordat
u het apparaat voor het eerst gebruikt en neem de veiligheidsinstructies in acht die hieronder
beschreven worden.
Personen die de gebruiksaanwijzing van dit apparaat niet kennen moeten het niet gebruiken. Bewaar
de verpakking voor later gebruik, maar gooi alle plastic verpakkingsmateriaal weg. Het kan gevaarlijk
zijn voor kinderen die er mee gaan spelen.
Dompel dit product nooit volledig onder water!

Dit apparaat mag alleen bediend worden door personen ouder dan 18 jaar.
Kinderen en personen met verminderde zintuiglijke, fysieke of mentale capaciteiten
en/of zonder kennis van de veiligheidsinstructies of ervaring met de bediening moeten
onder toezicht worden gehouden en worden geïnstrueerd over de bediening,
veiligheid en risico’s van dit apparaat.
WEES VOORZICHTIG: RISICO OP BRANDWONDEN!
Dit product bevat onderdelen die zeer heet worden en brandwonden kunnen
veroorzaken bij aanraking. Bijzondere aandacht en supervisie wordt dringend
aanbevolen bij bediening door kinderen of personen met verminderende
zintuiglijke, fysieke en mentale capaciteiten.
➢Dompel dit product nooit volledig onder water!
➢Plaats nooit een heet apparaat in koud water. U kunt een koud apparaat wel in warm water
plaatsen (max 60°C).
➢Bereid uitsluitend (vacuüm)verpakte producten met dit apparaat om vervuiling van het
water en schade aan het apparaat te voorkomen.
➢Kinderen niet laten spelen met het apparaat. Let op kinderen in de buurt van het apparaat.
➢Schoonmaken en onderhoud door kinderen alleen onder toezicht.
➢Schakel dit apparaat nooit in als het niet in (voldoende) water is geplaatst.
➢Sommige onderdelen van het apparaat worden heet en kunnen brandwonden veroorzaken.
➢Houdt het apparaat altijd in de gaten tijdens gebruik.
➢Verkeerd gebruik van dit apparaat kan letsel en schade veroorzaken.
➢De fabrikant is niet aansprakelijk voor letsel of schade door verkeerde gebruik van dit
apparaat. Gebruik het uitsluitend voor het beoogde doel.
➢Niet geschikt voor commercieel gebruik of gebruik buitenshuis.
➢Verwijder alle verpakkings- en transportmaterialen van het apparaat vóór gebruik.
➢Controleer het apparaat op zichtbare schade en ontbrekende onderdelen.
➢Gebruik alleen het meegeleverde stroomsnoer.
➢Controleer tijdens gebruik dat het niet mogelijk is om over het stroomsnoer te struikelen of
er onbedoeld aan te trekken.
➢Voorkom dat het apparaat volledig ondergedompeld wordt in water.
➢Schakel het apparaat uit en verwijderd de stekker uit het stopcontact voordat u begint met
reinigen of onderhoud en wanneer u het apparaat niet gebruikt.
➢Trek niet aan de stroomkabel tijdens het verwijderen van de stekker uit het stopcontact,
maar pak de stekker vast.
➢Houd dit apparaat en de stroomkabel uit de buurt van hittebronnen, hete objecten en open
vlammen. Zorg dat de stroomkabel volledig is uitgerold tijdens gebruik van het apparaat.
➢De stoomkabel mag niet gedraaid of om het apparaat zijn gewikkeld.
➢Controleer voor ieder gebruik of de stroomkabel en stekker onbeschadigd en droog zijn.
➢Wanneer het apparaat, stroomkabel of stekker beschadigd zijn laat dan altijd het apparaat
controleren en eventueel vervangen of repareren door een geautoriseerde reparateur.
➢Uitsluitend geschikt voor gebruik met 220-230V, 50-60Hz. Gebruik met andere voltages leidt
tot verlies van de garantie.
➢Ongeautoriseerde reparatie of modificaties van het apparaat leidt tot verlies van garantie op
het apparaat.

MIN & MAX WATERNIVEAU
Op de zijde van het apparaat dat u in het water steekt vindt u een MIN en MAX markering. Het is
belangrijk dat het waterniveau tussen deze markering blijft tijdens het sous-vide bereidingsproces.
Vul het waterniveau altijd tot het MAX niveau nádat u de producten in het bad hebt geplaatst. Dit
zorgt ervoor dat het apparaat fluisterstil werkt.
Een sensor zal waarnemen of het water onder MIN of boven MAX komt en automatisch uitschakelen
om schade aan het apparaat te voorkomen.
Plaats een heet apparaat nooit in koud water!
Dit kan leiden tot schade dit niet onder garantie valt.
Houdt er rekening mee dat het waterniveau zal:
➢Stijgen wanneer u producten in het water stopt. Vul dus nooit helemaal tot MAX-niveau vóórdat
je de vacuümzakken in het water stopt.
➢Dalen door verdamping van het water (tenzij u isolatieballen toepast) of producten uit het water
verwijdert.

BEDIENINGSINSTRUCTIES
In de afbeelding hieronder vindt u een verklaring van de verschillende (touch) knoppen en displays.

1. Vul uw reservoir met water tussen de MIN en MAX-markeringen op het apparaat.
Het waterniveau zal na het vullen verder stijgen wanneer u de te verwarmen
(gevacumeerde) producten in het reservoir stopt. Hierdoor kan het niveau boven de
MAX uit komen en zal de machine niet starten of uitschakelen.
Warm water verdampt snel, waardoor het waterniveau MIN kan bereiken, en
automatisch uit zal schakelen. U kunt verdamping grotendeels voorkomen door sous-
vide isolatieballen en/of een deksel voor het reservoir te gebruiken.
2. Sluit het apparaat aan op een stopcontact (230V).
3. Druk op om de temperatuur in te stellen met de +en –knop.
4. Druk nogmaals op om de kooktijd in te stellen.
Tip: je kunt de +en –knop ingedrukt houden om sneller te wijzigen.
5. Druk op om te beginnen met voorverwarmen naar de ingestelde temperatuur.
De LED op de voorkant van de stick zal rood knipperen tijdens het voorverwarmen.
Zodra de ingestelde temperatuur is bereikt piept de stick en kleurt de LED oranje.
Tip: gebruikt warm water om het voorverwarmen te versnellen.
6. Druk nogmaals op om het programma te starten. De LED kleurt nu groen.
Het display wisselt tussen weergave van actuele temperatuur en timer.
Door nogmaals op dezelfde knop te drukken kunt u de timer pauzeren (en nogmaals om het
hele programma te stoppen).

7. De stick blijft piepen wanneer het programma klaar is. De stick blijft verwarmen en
circuleren.
8. Schakel de machine uit door de stekker uit het stopcontact te halen.
Het apparaat of kookprogramma schakelt normaliter nooit vanzelf uit!
Na het verstrijken van de ingestelde kooktijd zal het apparaat blijven verwarmen en
circuleren totdat u het programma of apparaat uitschakelt. Dit om te voorkomen dat
onbedoeld uw product afkoelt en mogelijk niet meer geconsumeerd kan worden.
Is het apparaat of kookprogramma vanzelf gestopt?
Dan is het MIN / MAX waterniveau bereikt, de stroom onderbroken (geweest) of er is
een probleem met uw apparaat die onderzoek of reparatie vereist.
Resetten van de stick
Houdt en + ingedrukt om de stick te resetten naar standaard temperatuur (60°C).
Wisselen tussen Celcius (°C) en Fahrenheit (°F)
Druk tegelijk op de +en –knoppen om te wisselen tussen temperatuurweergave in Celcius (°C) en
Fahrenheit (°F).

ONDERHOUDSINSTRUCTIES
Regelmatig ontkalken is sterk aanbevolen om van een lange levensduur van uw apparaat te kunnen
genieten. Ontkalk het apparaat minimaal één keer per maand of vaker in regio’s met hard water.
Ontkalk de machine eerst wanneer u deze langere tijd niet hebt gebruikt
Wanneer u het apparaat langere tijd niet hebt gebruikt kunt u deze het beste eerst
ontkalken, indien u dit niet heeft gedaan na het laatste gebruik. Sterke kalkafzetting in
de waterpomp kan leiden tot hoge aanloopkrachten bij de eerste start wat (sterk) ten
koste gaat van de levensduur van uw apparaat. Dit kan gepaard gaan met een luid,
hoog geluid gedurende enkele minuten.
1. Plaats het apparaat is een zo klein mogelijk reservoir met water.
2. Vul het reservoir tot de MAX-markering.
3. Stel de temperatuur in op 70°C en laat het water opwarmen.
4. Voeg 5 gram citroenzuur (voedingskwaliteit) toe per liter water.
5. Laat het apparaat minimaal 20 minuten op deze temperatuur werken.
6. Schakel het apparaat uit en haal de stekker uit het stopcontact.
7. Laat het apparaat afkoelen tot kamertemperatuur en verwijder deze uit het reservoir.
8. Spoel de onderkant van de machine (die normaliter in het water staat) goed af met koud
water. U kunt eventueel het rooster verwijderen door deze voorzichtig naar beneden te
trekken tot het los komt, waarna u het met een zachte doek de metalen elementen kunt
poetsen om de laatste kalkresten te verwijderen.
9. Zorg dat de machine goed droog is voordat u deze opbergt.
10. Zorg dat de machine nooit horizontaal of ondersteboven wordt gehouden als deze nog nat is.
Niet onnodig in water laten staan en eerst ontkalken na lange stilstand
Wanneer water in de pomp opdroogt zal zich kalk afzetten. Laat het apparaat daarom
nooit langer dan noodzakelijk in water staan.

STORINGEN: OORZAKEN & OPLOSSINGEN
Probleem

Controleer of de stekker in het stopcontact is gestoken.
Controleer of de stroomkabel of stekker is beschadigd.
Het display toont H20
Een alarm klinkt en de machine schakelt uit omdat het
waterniveau onder MIN is gedaald. Koppel het apparaat
los van de stroom, vul water bij, sluit het apparaat
opnieuw aan en schakel daarna opnieuw in.
Het display toont E02
Het verwarmingselement is te heet. Een alarm klinkt en de
machine schakelt. Laat het apparaat afkoelen, vul water bij
en schakel de machine opnieuw in. Als deze error opnieuw
verschijnt is de temperatuursensor beschadigd en
reparatie noodzakelijk. Neem contact op met uw verkoper
of fabrikant.
Het apparaat maakt relatief veel
geluid
Het apparaat is mogelijk verkalkt en dient te worden
ontkalkt. Scan de QR code voor goede ontkalker.
Een foutmelding verdwijnt pas nadat de oorzaak verholpen is of door de stekker 5
seconden uit het stopcontact te verwijderen.
AFVAL & RECYCLING
Deze markering geeft aan dat dit product binnen de gehele EU niet via het huishoudelijke
afval mag worden afgevoerd. Recycle, om mogelijke schade aan het milieu of de
gezondheid van mensen door ongecontroleerde afvoer van afval te voorkomen, het
apparaat op een verantwoorde manier ter bevordering van duurzaam hergebruik van
materialen. Retourneer het gebruikte apparaat via de retour- en verzamelvoorzieningen
of neem contact op met de verkoper bij wie u het product heeft gekocht. Deze kan het
product innemen en milieuvriendelijk recyclen.

This product contains parts that become very hot and can cause burns when
touched. Special care and supervision is urgently recommended for operation by
children or persons with reduced sensory, physical and mental capabilities.

➢Never put a hot appliance in cold water. You can place a cold appliance in hot water (max
60°C).
➢Only prepare (vacuum) sealed products with this appliance in order to avoid contamination
of the water and damage to the appliance.
➢Do not allow children to play with the appliance. Keep children away from the appliance.
➢Cleaning and maintenance by children only under supervision.
➢Never switch on this device if it is not placed in (sufficient) water.

MIN & MAX WATER LEVEL
On the side of the appliance that you put in the water, you will find a MIN and MAX mark. It is
important that the water level remains between these marks during the sous-vide cooking process.
Always fill the water level to the MAX level after placing the products in the bath. This ensures
whisper-quiet operation.
A sensor will detect if the water is below MIN or above MAX and automatically switch off to prevent
damage to the device.
Never place a hot appliance in cold water!
This may lead to damage that is not covered by the guarantee.
Please note that the water level will:
➢Rise when you put products in the water. So never fill all the way to MAX level before putting the
vacuum bags in the water.
➢Lower due to evaporation of the water (unless you apply insulation balls) or removal of products
from the water.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
In the picture below you will find an explanation of the different (touch) buttons and displays.

9. Fill your reservoir with water between the MIN and MAX marks on the device.
The water level will continue to rise after filling when you put the products to be
heated (vacuumed) in the reservoir. This may cause the level to rise above the MAX,
and the machine will not start or switch off.
Hot water evaporates quickly, so that the water level can reach MIN and will
automatically switch off. You can largely prevent evaporation by using sous-vide
insulation balls and/or a lid for the reservoir.
10. Connect the device to a mains socket (230V).
11. Press to set the temperature with the + and - buttons.
12. Press again to set the cooking time.
Tip: you can hold down the + and - buttons to change faster.
13. Press to start preheating to the set temperature.
The LED on the front of the stick will blink red during preheating.
As soon as the set temperature is reached the stick will beep and the LED will turn orange.
Tip: use warm water to speed up the preheating.
14. Press again to start the programme. The LED will now turn green.
The display will alternate between the actual temperature and the timer.
By pressing the same button again, you can pause the timer (and again to stop the entire
programme).

15. The stick continues to beep when the programme is finished. The stick continues to heat
and circulate.
16. Switch off the machine by removing the plug from the socket.
The appliance or cooking programme normally never switches off by itself!
After the set cooking time has elapsed, the appliance will continue to heat and
circulate until you switch off the programme or appliance. This is to prevent your
product from cooling down unintentionally and possibly becoming unconsumable.
Did the appliance or cooking programme stop on its own?
Then either the MIN / MAX water level has been reached, the power has been cut off
or there is a problem with your appliance that requires investigation or repair.
Resetting the stick
Press and hold and + to reset the stick to standard temperature (60°C).
Switching between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F)
Press the + and - buttons simultaneously to switch between temperature display in Celsius (°C) and
Fahrenheit (°F).

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Regular descaling is strongly recommended to enjoy a long life of your device. Descale the machine
at least once a month or more often in regions with hard water.
Descale the machine first if you have not used it for a long time
When you have not used the unit for a longer period of time, it is best to descale it
first, if you have not done so after the last use. Heavy lime deposits in the water pump
can lead to high starting forces at the first start-up, which (greatly) reduces the service
life of your appliance. This may be accompanied by a loud, high-pitched noise for a
few minutes.
11. Place the device in the smallest possible water tank.
12. Fill the reservoir to the MAX mark.
13. Set the temperature to 70°C and let the water warm up.
14. Add 5 grams of citric acid (food grade) per litre of water.
15. Allow the device to operate at this temperature for at least 20 minutes.
16. Switch off the device and unplug the power cord.
17. Allow the device to cool down to room temperature and remove it from the reservoir.
18. Rinse the bottom of the machine (which is normally in water) thoroughly with cold water. If
necessary, you can remove the grille by pulling it gently downwards until it comes loose,
after which you can polish the metal elements with a soft cloth to remove the last traces of
limescale.
19. Make sure the machine is completely dry before storing it.
20. Never hold the machine horizontally or upside down when it is still wet.
Do not leave in water unnecessarily and decalcify first after long standstill
When water dries up in the pump, lime deposits will form. Therefore, never leave the
unit in water longer than necessary.

ERRORS: CAUSES & SOLUTIONS
Problem

The device will not switch on
Check whether the power plug is plugged in. Check
whether the power cable or plug is damaged.
The display shows H20
An alarm sounds and the machine switches off because the
water level has fallen below MIN. Disconnect the machine
from the power supply, top up water, reconnect and then
switch on again.
The display shows E02
The heating element is too hot. An alarm sounds and the
machine switches off. Allow the machine to cool down, fill
up with water and switch on again. If this error appears
again, the temperature sensor is damaged and must be
repaired. Contact your retailer or manufacturer.
The device is relatively noisy
The machine may be calcified and needs to be descaled.
Scan the QR code for good descaler.
An error message will only disappear after the cause has been remedied or by
removing the plug from the socket for 5 seconds.
WASTE & RECYCLING
This marking indicates that this product may not be disposed of in household waste
throughout the EU. To prevent possible harm to the environment or human health from
uncontrolled waste disposal, please recycle the device in a responsible manner that
