1. If you have any problems, please read this manual carefully or contact
Customer Care.
2. The device is only designed for indoor use.

4. When you adding a new device, make sure the entered Wi-Fi password
is correct.
5. Please make sure that the device is closed to the router for a stable
network connection.
6. Door & Window Sensor: The installation area should be free of strong
magnetic fields; during installation, the spacing between two device
components should be as narrow as possible (less than 10 mm) to
make sure the detecting effect.
7. Motion Sensor: Try to keep away from curtains, plants, animals, and
direct sources of heat or sunlight.
Important Notes
3. The device can only connect to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks. If you have a
dual-band router with separate 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks, make sure
that your phone is connected to the 2.4GHz.

8. Water Leak Sensor: Do not install the device in corrosive or highly
magnetic environments, and do not place it on a metal surface.

Connecting the Device to ZSmart App
Step 1: Download the App and Register Your Account
Search for the ZSmart App in Apple App Store or Google Play Store and
download the App to your smartphone.
Open the ZSmart App and log in with your account. If you do not have an
account, create an account with your phone number or Email ID.
Setup

Step 2: Add the Alarm Hub to the App
1. Plug the alarm hub into the power socket using the provided power
adapter and USB cable.
2. Turn on the power switch. Wait for a few seconds until the blue LED
begins to blink rapidly, indicating that Pairing Mode is active.
Note: If the device doesn't display the above status, press and hold the
CODE Button until you hear six-beep sound prompt, and then release it,
the blue LED will blink rapidly.
Step 3: Add the Sensors to the App
1. To turn on the sensors, insert the two LR03(AAA) batteries provided.
2. Enter the device interface on the App, and then tap the “Accessories”
button.
3. Enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi permissions on your smartphone.
4. Open the app, tap the "+" button on the top right corner of the
interface, and then select the “Add Device” option.
5. Tap the "Add" button once the device has appeared. Follow the on-
screen prompts to pair the device automatically.
Note: If you have failed to connect your device to Wi-Fi, press and hold the
CODE Button until you hear six-beep sound prompt, and then release it,
the blue LED will blink rapidly, then repeat the above steps.
3. Tap the "+" button to trigger the alarm hub to enter the pairing mode.

4. Manually trigger the sensors to transmit the signal to the alarm hub, as
shown in the descriptions and picturesbelow. When the sensors are
successfully attached, the alarm hub will play the associated audio
prompt.
Door & Window Sensor: Separate the main unit and the magnet.
Motion Sensor: Wave the hand or move in front of the device.
Water Leak Sensor: Touch the two inductive probes at the same
time.
Remote Control: Press any buttons.
Important Notes: To make
surethe water leak sensor's
dustproof and waterproof
performance, the battery's
back cover must be secured
before use. Check that the
mark on the rear cover is
alignedto the mark on the
front unit.

Connecting the Device to Cellular Network
(Optional)
Step 1: Insert the SIM Card
Insert the SIM card into the designated card slot and verify that the red
LED light blinks, indicating proper insertion.
Note: The SIM card slot and cellular function are optional. Only the AP11X
series supports 2G (GSM) network, and only the AP12X series supports 4G
network.
Step 2: Set the Password and Phone Number
1. Open the App and enter the device interface.
2. To modify your 4-digit password, access the “Password” option under
the ”Settings” menu.
Note: The password is necessary for authenticating phone calls and
sending SMS. The default password is “1234”.
3. Go back to the previous interface in the App and select the “Phone
Call Number” and “SMS Number” option, and then enter the required
phone number.
Note: The device can store a maximum of six phone call numbers and
three SMS numbers.
Step 3: Test the Phone Calls and SMS Function
Follow the instructions in the final appendix to test the phone call and
SMS functions.
Connecting the Device to Amazon Alexa or
Google Assistant
Tap the EDIT Button in the upper right corner of the device interface after
successfully connecting the device to the ZSmart App. To link your
ZSmart Account to Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant, select the Amazon
Alexa or Google Assistant icon and follow the on-screen instructions.

After completing the setup, you can use the supported voice commands
that include:
Echo, is <device name> armed?
Echo, disarm / arm <device name>.
Note: Each time when you change the name of the linked device, you must
identify it again to update the name.
Echo, arm <device name> in away / home mode.
Hey Google, is <device name> armed?
Hey Google, disarm / arm <device name>.
Hey Google, set <device name> to away / home mode.

Installation
Installation Location: The device can be mounted on the wall or directly
placed on the desk.
Installation Steps:
Drill two holes in the wall near the mounting holes, then insert the
plastic anchor; anchors are necessary for walls composed of hard
materials such as concrete, brick, or stucco.
2. Align the screws with the grooves of the alarm hub base, and then
push the device down until it clicks into place.
Alarm Hub:
Installation Location: The device can be mounted on the windows,
doors, drawers, and other surfaces. The main unit should be installed on
the door/window frame, and the magnet should be mounted on the
door/window.
Door & Window Sensor:

Installation Location: The device can be mounted on the wall. The
recommended installation height is 2m to 2.5m.
Motion Sensor:

Remove the protective film from the bottom of the device.
2. Place the device on the edge of a door or a window.
Important Notes: Make sure that the gap between the main unit and the
magnet is less than 10mm, when the door or window is closed.

Installation Steps
Method 1: Installing with the Screws
Drill two holes in the wall near the mounting bracket holes, and then
put the plastic anchor into the holes; anchors are necessary for walls
composed of hard materials such as concrete, brick, or stucco.
2. Install the mounting bracket on the wall with two screws.

Tighten the device to the mounting bracket by pushing downward.

Adjust the detection coverage by rotating the device.

Method 2: Installing with the Adhesive Strip
Remove the protective film from the bottom of the device.
2. Stick the device in the required position.
Important Notes: Make sure the installation surface is smooth, flat, stable,
dry and clean. After installation, regularly check whether the device is
attached firmly to the installation surface.

After the confirmation of a successful Wi-Fi connection and normal
working status, you can select the required plane surfaces to place the
device.

Security Modes: Display the real-time working mode of the alarm system.
You can switch the alarm modes via the remote control or the App.
Home Mode (stay armed): Interior sensor are disabled, while exterior
sensors are activated. This Mode should be used when someone wants
to stay home and feel safe. You can customize the related zone type for
the sensors within the App.
Away Mode (armed): The system is armed by default. All sensors are
activated and the hub will alarm when activity is detected. This Mode
should be used when you go out and there's no one at home.
Disarmed Mode (disarmed): No sensors are activated and no alarm
alerts will be sent. This is useful when you're at home and/or want to
move in or out freely.
SOS Mode (remote control alarm): When pressing the SOS button on
the remote control, the hub will alarm directly. This mode is suitable for
the emergency situation.
Alarm Hub Settings:
Schedule: Customize the schedule for the device to setup the armed
and disarmed mode automatically.
Restore Factory Settings: One click to delete all currently added
sensors.
Warning: Enable or disable the alarm sound.
Alarm Time / Siren Volume: Select the alarm sound duration or
volume of the external audio speaker.
Accessories Settings:
Zone Settings: Select the zone type for the specific sensor.
Normal Zone: When the hub is in Home or Away Mode, the hub will
alarm when the sensor detects the activity.
Stay Armed Zone: When the hub is in Home Mode, the hub will
alarm when the sensor detects the activity.

Device Management: Add or delete the related device.
Device Name: Modify the device's name as required.
Smart Zone: The hub won't alarm if the sensor detects the activity
only once, while it detects again within 30 seconds after the first
detection, the hub will alarm immediately.
Emergency Zone: No matter in Home, Away or Disarmed Mode, the
hub will alarm when the sensor detects the activity.
Close Zone: No matter in Home, Away or Disarmed Mode, the hub
won't alarm when the sensor detects the activity.
Record: Check the device's status as well as the log of a specific time.
Voice Control: To change the security modes or check the present status
from the Amazon Echo or Google Home device, use Amazon Alexa or
Google Assistant voice commands.
Instant App Alerts: Receive the instant push notifications from your
phone when the device changes the security modes or detects the alarm
activity.
Remove Device: Remember to REMOVE the device from the current
account when the owner of the device changes.
Appendix
If the alarm is triggered, the alarm hub will automatically call the preset
phone numbers one after another. When you answer the phone, you will
hear specific alarm information. Additionally, you can remotely control the
alarm hub by entering the corresponding Command Code [Table A]
using your mobile phone's keypad.

B. How to Remote Control via Phone Call
1. Enter the phone number of the alarm hub and make the call.
2. Enter the registered password when hearing the voice prompt.
Note: If the password verification fails, the alarm hub will remind you to re-
enter the password.
3. Control the alarm hub remotely by using the corresponding
Command Code [Table B] on your mobile phone.
