1.3ConfiguringBasicInformationforaTerminal
Prerequisites
BeforeconguringnetworkinformationfortheZXV10T700terminal,suchasIPaddress,
youcanconguretheterminalonlybyusingtheremotecontrol.
Context
Foranewuser,thebasicinformationtobeconguredincludesterminalname,network,
GK,andsystemtime.
Steps
•Nametheterminalandadjustthesystemtime.
1.ChooseManagement>General>Displaybyusingtheremotecontrol.The
Displaypageisdisplayed.
2.IntheTerminalNametextbox,enteranamefortheterminal.Youcanentera
nameasrequired.Thenameshouldbedistinguishedfromotherterminalnames.
Usually,thesitenameisused.
3.AdjustthesystemtimeoftheZXV10T700terminalaccordingtothelocaltime.
4.Savethesettingsandexit.
•Congurenetworkinformationfortheterminal.
1.ChooseManagement>SystemSettings>Network>IPbyusingtheremote
control.TheIPpageisdisplayed.
2.EntertheinformationoftheZXV10T700terminal,includingnetworktype,
IPaddress,subnetmask,andgateway,accordingtotheactualnetwork
conguration.
3.Savethesettingsandexit.
•CongureGKinformation.

3.ContacttheZXMS80systemadministratorandchecktheterminalnumber.
TheterminalnumberisuniqueinsidethenetworkandbasedonwhichtheGK
implementscalladdressing.
4.Savethesettingsandexit.

Prerequisites
Terminalcongurationcanbemodiedonlywhentheterminalsareidle(notina
conference).
Context
Afteryoumodifyterminalconguration,doasfollowstosaveandmakethesettingstake
effect.
Steps
•Doasfollowstomodifyterminalcongurationbyusingtheremotecontrol:
1.Afterterminalinformationismodied,presstheReturnkeyontheremotecontrol.
Aconrmationdialogboxisdisplayed.
2.PresstheOKkeyontheremotecontroltoconrmmodication.
•TomodifyterminalcongurationontheWebpage,clickOKatthelowerpartofthe
page.
1.5CallingforConferenceQuickly
Prerequisites
Theterminalsaredeployedandconnectedbyusingcables,andthebasicsettingsforthe
terminalsarecomplete.However,theconferenceconnectionisnotestablished.
Context
ThefollowingdescribeshowtocallaterminaloranMCUdirectly.Forinformationonhow
tocallaterminalfromtheaddressbook,refertothechaptersrelatedtotheaddressbook.
Steps
1.Onthemainmenuoftheterminal,movethecursortotheCallcolumnbyusingthe
remotecontrol.Alternatively,logintotheWebpageandchooseCallControl>
Call/HanguptodisplaytheCallpage.
