Overview
3Com®OfficeConnect®Gigabit Switches are designed
for small offices requiring high network performance
to exchange large data files and images and access
real-time information.
These reliable and dependable switches automatically
find the fastest connection speed; all that is needed is
to connect the power and Ethernet cables, as there is
no software to configure. Easy to set up, these switches
feature a fan-less design which delivers silent operation,
and are backed by an outstanding three-year limited
warranty. Advanced hardware replacement is also
provided. With a choice of five, eight or sixteen ports,
you can easily expand your network by adding more
computers or devices with speeds up to 2,000 Mbps
per port in full-duplex mode.
As part of our GreenConnect initiative, this switch
uses the latest silicon technology, reducing the
typical power consumption. Idle “power-down”
mode◊and cable length detection†helps deliver
minimum power consumption. The very compact
design of this OfficeConnect switch also minimizes
environmental impact.
