Beforeinstallingthemotherboardpleasebesuretoturnoff ordisconnectthe
powersupplyunit.Beforemakinganymodificationstothehardware
configurationofthemotherboard,thepowersupplytoanyareasofthe
motherboardyouplantomodifyshouldbeturnedoff toavoidunnecessary
damagetothehardware.

Mostcomputercaseswill haveabaseonwhichtherewill bemanymounting
holesthatallowsthemotherboardtobesecurelyattachedandatthesametime,
preventsshortcircuits.
Therearetwowaystoattachthemotherboardtothebase.

lorwithbolts
Inprinciple,thebestwaytoattachthemotherboardiswithbolts,andonlyif
youareunabletodothisshouldyouattachtheboardwithspacers.Takea
carefullookatthemotherboardandyouwill see manymountingholesonit.
Linetheseholesup withthemountingholesonthebase.Iftheholeslineup,and
therearescrewholesthismeansyoucanattachthemotherboardwithbolts.If
theholeslineup andthereareonlyslots,thismeansyoucanonlyattachthe
motherboardwithspacers.Takethetipofthespacersandinsertitintotheslots.
Afterdoingthistoall theslots,youcanslidethemotherboardintoposition
alignedwiththeslots.Afterthemotherboardhasbeenpositioned,checkto
makesureeverythingisOKbeforeputtingthecasingbackon.
Note:Ifthemotherboardhasmountingholes,butdon’tlineup withthe
holesonthebaseandtheirarenoslotstoattachthespacers,don’t
worry,youcanstill attachthespacerstothemountingholes.Justcut
thespacers(alongthedottedline)(thespacermaybealittlehardso
becarefulofourhands).Inthiswayyoucanstill attachthe
motherboardtothebasewithoutworryingaboutshortcircuits.

Insidethecaseofanycomputerseveralcablesandplugshavetobe
connected.Thesecablesandplugsareusuallyconnectedone-by-oneto
connectorslocatedonthemotherboard.Youneedtocarefullypay
attentiontoanyconnectionorientationthecablesmayhaveand,ifany,
notice thepositionofthefirstpinoftheconnector.Intheexplanations
