Installation
Your phone should be placed on a level surface
-Connect the handset and base unit with the coil cord (slot
on the leftside of phone).
-Connect the base unit to the telephone connection
outlet using the straight-line cord (port on the front of
the phone labelled TEL-LINE).
- Pick up the handset. If you can hear the dial tone, your
phone is ready for use. If not, please try disconnecting
and reconnecting all the cords. Make sure that the
correct cords are inserted into the correct slots.
Wall Mounting
-Use a 6 mm drill to drill hole at an appropriate place.
- Install the conduit.
- Screw a 27mm screw to hook the device securely.
NOTE: To secure the handset when wall-mounted you
must reverse the plastic tab which is found beneath the
earpiece cradle on the phone base. Unclip this tab and
rotate before reinserting. This reveals a hook which will
hold the handset inplace when upright.

Usingthe Phone
To Receive a Call
Pick up handset or press SPEAKER button
To End a Call
Pick up handset or press SPEAKER button
Handsfree function
Press SPEAKER to dial and to talk by speakerphone. To
answer incoming call, press SPEAKER to start a conversation,
press it againto end the call.
Redial Last Number
Pick up the handset and then press REDIAL key to dial out the
lastdialed number automatically.
Muting/Hold on Music
When you are on a call, but do not want the other side hear you,
youcan press HOLD button to play the music to the other party.
Press the HOLD button again to resume call.
Custom Call Function
Press the FLASH button briefly, release and perform the custom
callprocedure (e.g. call waiting and three party calling).
NOTE: Call waiting is a service of your local telephone company.
Flash Button
When there is an engaged tone or a wrong number, you can
pressFLASH button to hang up and make the next call.
Adjust Ringer Volume
Move the ringer switch to “HI” or “LO” or “OFF” position to adjust
theringer volume. The default setting is the “HI” position.

UsingMemory Keys
To Store Numbers with Picture Keys
1. Pick up the handset
2. Press STORE button
3. Input Number
4. Press the PICTURE BUTTON
5. Replace handset
Note: To insert a pause – press the ‘REDIAL’ key within
numbersequence.
To Make Calls with Picture Keys
Simply pick up the handset and press the picture, the stored
numberwill automatically be dialed.
Store 10 Two-Touch Memories
1. Pick up the handset
2. Press STORE button
3. Input Number
4. Press STORE AGAIN
5. Press Memory location 0 – 9
6. Replace handset.
To Make Calls with Two-Touch Memories
1. Pick up the handset
2. Press AUTO button
3. Press Memory Location 0 – 9
4. Your stored number will be dialed.
How to Install Memory Button Pictures
1. Print a picture of their face.
2. Lay it over the button-shaped card provided.
3. Cut to the correct size using card as size guide.
4. Place your picture into the memory button you want.

5. Place the clear plastic covers over your picture and
secure inplace.
Note: To overwrite memories simply repeat the sequence
and program anew. To delete all memories, perform a hard
reset byremoving the telephone line (power source) for 30
minutes.
Troubleshooting Guide
No function
Unplug the phone, disconnect all cords and re-connect the cords.
No ringing or dial tone
1. Check the connection between the base unit and the wall
socket. Ensure you are using the straight-line cord and
connecting the port on front of phone labelled TEL-LINE to
the wall socket.
2. Check the connection between the handset and the base
unit. Use the coiled cord and connect the handset to the
port on the leftside of the phone.
3. Check if the telephone line is working by connecting
anotherdevice to the wall socket.
Can receive calls but can’t dial out
Switch to alternate dialing mode (pulse or tone) using T/P switch
onside of phone. Most modern networks operate with tone
dialing (T).
One ring only and the line is then broken
1. If you have connected the base unit to the wall socket along
withother devices via a multiple connector box, check it is
working.
2. Check if there are parallel units on the same line if so
remove them.
