Safety Precautions
Before using the present appliance, please keep the
following safety regulations in order to prevent any
hazard or material damage.

1. WARNING
（1）Connect the printer with a reliable grounded
power receptacle. Do not plug with large
electronic machines in one multi-outlet, which
can provoke power fluctuation or over-heating,
even a fire.

d'alimentation fiable et mise à la terre. Ne
branchez pas de grosses machines

（3）Do not keep the machine in a hot, wet or
polluted place.

（5）Do not pull the cable to unplug. This can
damage the cable, which is the origin of a fire

2. CAUTIONS
（1）Install the printer on the stable surface. If
the printer falls down, it may be broken
and hurt you.

（2）If you find a strange smoke, odor or
noise from the printer, unplug it at once
and call your dealer.

débranchez-la immédiatement et appelez votre
revendeur.
（3）Do not try to disassemble, repair or
remodel it for yourself. Call your dealer
if you need these services.

de le remodeler vous-même. Appelez votre
revendeur si vous avez besoin de ces services.
（4）Do not let water or other foreign objects
in the printer. If this happened, switch off
and unplug the printer before calling
your dealer.

éteignez et débranchez l'imprimante avant
d'appeler votre revendeur.
（5）Switch off the printer if you will not use
it in a long time.

（6）Make sure the switch is off when plug or
unplug the power.

lorsque vous branchez ou débranchez

（7）Do not use the printer when it is out of
order. Switch off and unplug the printer
before calling your dealer.

Note: Bad quality thermal paper with rough
surface and low sensetivity may reduce the
life time of the printer head, please use high
quality thermal paper, such as OJI, PD-160R
orAclas paper.
Remarque: un papier thermique de mauvaise
qualité avec une surface rugueuse et une
faible sensibilitépeut réduire la durée de vie
de la tête d'impression, veuillez utiliser du
papier thermique de haute qualité, tel que le
papier OJI, PD-160R ou Aclas.
(1) Make sure that the printer is not receiving
data; otherwise, data may be lost.
（1）Assurez-vous que l'imprimante ne reçoit
pas de données; sinon, les données
peuvent être perdues.
(2) Open the printer upper cover by pressing
the cover button as picture 1.
（2）Ouvrez le capot supérieur de

(3) Insert the paper roll to the printer as picture 2.

(4) Be sure to note the correct direction thats
the paper comes off the roll shown as picture
3.

(5) Pull out a small amount of paper to make it
parallel with the alignment line as picture 4，
and then close the upper cover by pressing
its front middle part until you hear a ‘click’
sound.
（5）Retirez une petite quantitéde papier pour
la rendre parallèle àla ligne d'alignement
comme sur l'image 4, puis fermez le
capot supérieur en appuyant sur sa partie
centrale avant jusqu'à ce que vous
entendiez un «clic ».

(6) After closing the upper cover，tear off the
paper as picture 5.

3Setting the Printer/Configuration de l'imprimante
3.1 Using the Printer/Utilisation de l'imprimante
3.2 Connecting the Computer/Connexion de l'ordinateur
(1) Power off the printer.
（1）Mettez l'imprimante hors tension.
(2) Plug the communication cable securely
into the printer, then attach the other end
of the cable to the computer.
（2）Branchez solidement le câble de
communication dans l'imprimante, puis
connectez l'autre extrémité du câble à
l'ordinateur.
(3) If the cable connector is shown as picture
6, tighten the two screws on both sides of
the cable connector after connecting.
（3）Si le connecteur de câble est illustrécomme sur
l'image 6, serrez les deux vis des deux côtés du
connecteur de câble après la connexion.

Press the button once to advance paper once line. You can also hold down the Feed
button to feed paper continuously.
Appuyez une fois sur le bouton pour faire avancer le papier d'une ligne. Vous pouvez
également maintenir le bouton Feed enfoncépour faire avancer le papier en continu.

3.3 Connecting the Power Supply/Branchement de l'alimentation
※CAUTIONS
When connect the power supply to the
printer, please refer to picture 7. When
disconnecting, the order is reverse. Otherwise
you may damage the power supply or the
printer.
If the power supply’s rated voltage and your
outlet’s voltage do not match, contact your
dealer for assistance. Do not plug in the
power cord. Otherwise, you may damage the
power supply or the printer.

Lorsque vous connectez l'alimentation à
l'imprimante, veuillez vous référer àl'image
7. Lors de la déconnexion, l'ordre est inversé.
Sinon, vous risquez d'endommager

(1) When not using the printer, make sure that
the printer’s power switch is turned off, and
the power supply’s power cord is unplugged
from the electrical outlet.

l'imprimante est éteint et que le cordon
d'alimentation est débranché de la prise
électrique.
(2) Make sure the switch is off when plug or
unplug the power.

(3) Check the label on the power supply to make
sure that the voltage required by the power
supply matches that of your electrical outlet.

4SELF TEST/AUTO-TEST
5MAINTENANCE/ENTRETIEN
Paper dust inside the printer may lower the
printer quality. The thermal printer head is
probably dirty, if part of letters is not printed
distinctly. Please follow steps below to clean the
printer head.
La poussière de papier à l'intérieur de
l'imprimante peut réduire la qualité de
l'imprimante. La tête d'impression thermique est
probablement sale, si une partie des lettres n'est
pas imprimée distinctement. Veuillez suivre les
étapes ci-dessous pour nettoyer la tête
d'impression.
Note: If the dust is not cleaned in time, it will
lead to defective cooling. High-quality
thermal paper is able to reduce the possibility
of polluting the printer head, and almost no
need to clean it.
Remarque: Si la poussière n'est pas nettoyée
à temps, cela entraînera un refroidissement
défectueux. Le papier thermique de haute
qualitéest capable de réduire la possibilitéde
polluer la tête d'impression et n'a presque pas
besoin de la nettoyer.
(1) Open the printer cover and remove the paper
if exists.
（1）Ouvrez le capot de l'imprimante et retirez
le papier s'il existe.
(2) Clean the printer head with a cotton swab
moistened with alcohol solvent.
（2）Nettoyez la tête d'impression avec un
coton-tige imbibéd'alcool.
(3) Clean the platen roller and paper end sensor
with cotton swab moistened with water.
（3）Nettoyez le rouleau d'impression et le
capteur de fin de papier avec un
coton-tige humidifiéavec de l'eau.
(4) Insert a paper roll and close the printer
cover.
（4）Insérez un rouleau de papier et fermez le
capot de l'imprimante.
Press key ‘Feed’and hold it, and then power on
the machine at the same time, it will print a
piece of Test Page. The information of this Test
Page includes the printer’s model, version, IP
address (Ethernet port), ID etc.
Appuyez sur la touche « Alimentation » et
maintenez-la enfoncée, puis allumez la machine
en même temps, elle imprimera un morceau de
page de test. Les informations de cette page de
test incluent le modèle, la version, l'adresse IP
(port Ethernet), l'ID, etc. de l'imprimante.

Attention:
Do not touch the thermal printer head.
The paper cutter will become blunt after
a period of time. Please ask the
maintenance man to replace the paper
cutter in time.
Attention:
Ne touchez pas la tête d'impression
thermique.
Le coupe-papier deviendra émousséaprès
un certain temps. Veuillez demander au
technicien de maintenance de remplacer
le coupe-papier àtemps.
6TROUBLESHOOTING/DÉPANNAGE
1) The printer is out of paper.
If the printer is out of paper, the “Paper out”
indicator light will lit up. In this case, the printer
will stop printing. And then install a new paper
roll, the printer will continue printing.
(1) L'imprimante n'a plus de papier.
Si l'imprimante n'a plus de papier, le voyant lumineux «
Plus de papier »s'allumera. Dans ce cas, l'imprimante
arrêtera d'imprimer. Et puis installez un nouveau
rouleau de papier, l'imprimante continuera àimprimer.
2) The printer could self-test but could not
print.
a. Make sure the connection cable between the
PC and the printer connects securely.
b. Make sure the connecting port of the printer
is not being used.
(2) L'imprimante a pu s'auto-tester mais n'a pas pu
imprimer.
a. Assurez-vous que le câble de connexion entre le
PC et l'imprimante est correctement connecté.
b. Assurez-vous que le port de connexion de
l'imprimante n'est pas utilisé.
3) Removing paper deviation
Press paper feed key to feed paper, by which the
printer will adjust the paper automatically;
otherwise, please turn the power off, open paper
cover to reinstall paper.
(3) Suppression de la déviation du papier
Appuyez sur la touche d'alimentation du papier pour
alimenter le papier, par lequel l'imprimante ajustera le
papier automatiquement ; sinon, veuillez éteindre
l'appareil, ouvrez le couvercle du papier pour réinstaller
le papier.

4) The printed character is unclear.
a. Make sure the printer head is clean enough.
b. Make sure the used paper meets the required
specification.
(4) Le caractère imprimén'est pas clair.
a. Assurez-vous que la tête d'impression est
suffisamment propre.
b. Assurez-vous que le papier utilisé répond aux
spécifications requises.
5) Some columns could not be printed.
a. Make sure the printer head is clean enough.
b. Make sure there is not a paper jam.
(5) Certaines colonnes n'ont pas pu être imprimées.
a. Assurez-vous que la tête d'impression est
suffisamment propre.
b. Assurez-vous qu'il n'y a pas de bourrage papier.
6) Paper feeding unsteadily
a. Make sure the rubber platen is not stuck with
foreign matter. If not, clean it with cotton
swab with water.
b. If the problem still exists, make sure the
motor gear of the platen is not broken.
(6) Alimentation papier instable
a. Assurez-vous que le plateau en caoutchouc n'est
pas coincé par des corps étrangers. Sinon,
nettoyez-le avec un coton-tige avec de l'eau.
b. Si le problème persiste, assurez-vous que
l'engrenage du moteur du plateau n'est pas cassé.
7) Removing a paper jam
a. Turn the power off.
b. Open paper cover, remove the jammed
paper.
c. Reinstall paper to the printer correctly, close
paper cover. Make sure the paper cover is
closed securely.
(7) Suppression d'un bourrage papier
a. Coupez l'alimentation.
b. Ouvrez le capot papier, retirez le papier coincé.
c. Réinstallez correctement le papier dans
l'imprimante, fermez le capot papier. Assurez-vous
que le couvercle du papier est bien fermé.
8) Removing the cutter jam
a. Push down the cover lever for about 8 times,
the printer cover will be opened.
b. Push down the cover lever 2 times more, by
which the cutter will back to its normal
position.
(8) Retrait du bourrage du cutter
a. Abaissez le levier du couvercle environ 8 fois, le
couvercle de l'imprimante s'ouvrira.
b. Abaissez encore 2 fois le levier du couvercle, ce
qui permet au cutter de revenir à sa position
normale.
9) The temperature of the printer head is too
high.
Power off the printer, and then restart it until the
temperature is cooling down.
(9) La température de la tête d'impression est trop
élevée.
Mettez l'imprimante hors tension, puis redémarrez-la
jusqu'àce que la température se refroidisse.

7Printer Driver Installation Instruction/Instructions d'installation
du pilote d'imprimante
Note: you need to install this driver only if
you do not know how to use the ESC
commands. This driver is suitable for
Windows XP system, Windows 7, Windows 8
and Windows 10.
Remarque: vous devez installer ce pilote
uniquement si vous ne savez pas utiliser les
commandes ESC. Ce pilote convient au
système Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8
et Windows 10.
7.1. Printer Driver Installation/Installation du pilote d'imprimante
Connect the printer to PC, and double click “Setup.exe”
in the file “Aclas Printer”to install the printer driver.
Connectez l'imprimante au PC et double-cliquez sur
"Setup.exe" dans le fichier "Aclas Printer" pour
installer le pilote d'imprimante.
Type 1: If the printer connects with COM
port, use the method.
Type 1 : Si l'imprimante se connecte au port
COM, utilisez la méthode.
Click “Setting” to config the connect ports.
Cliquez sur «Paramètres »pour configurer les ports de connexion.
Choose the right connect port from the drop-down list.
Choisissez le bon port de connexion dans la liste déroulante.
Choose “COM/LPT”
Choisissez "COM/LPT"
Click “OK”
Cliquez sur OK"

Choose “Hardware”
Choisissez «Matériel »
Click “Install”
Cliquez sur "Installer"

Type 2: If the printer connects with Ethernet
port, use the method.
Type 2 : Si l'imprimante se connecte avec un
port Ethernet, utilisez la méthode.
Choose “TCP”
Choisissez «TCP»
Click “OK”
Cliquez sur OK"
Input the IP which is in the same network segment of the printer.
Saisissez l'IP qui se trouve dans le même segment de réseau de l'imprimante.
Click “Install”
Cliquez sur "Installer"

Type 3: If the printer connects with USB port,
use the method.
Type 3 : Si l'imprimante se connecte avec un
port USB, utilisez la méthode.
Note:
After installing the printer driver, you can use the
printer. If the printercould not work, you can refer
to Chapter 7.2 to see the connecting port and make
sure that the connecting port you choose is correct
and is not being used; then refer to Chapter 7.3 to
configure port.
Noter:
Après avoir installéle pilote d'imprimante, vous
pouvez utiliser l'imprimante. Si l'imprimante ne
peut pas fonctionner, vous pouvez vous référer au
chapitre 7.2 pour voir le port de connexion et vous
assurer que le port de connexion que vous
choisissez est correct et n'est pas utilisé ; puis
reportez-vous au chapitre 7.3 pour configurer le
port.
Choose “USB”
Choisissez "USB"

7.2. How to Know the Connect Port/Comment connaître le port de
connexion
Connect the printer to the computer, follow steps below
to know which port is connected.
Connectez l'imprimante àl'ordinateur, suivez les étapes
ci-dessous pour savoir quel port est connecté.
Right click “This PC” icon on the desktop, and choose “Manage”.
Cliquez avec le bouton droit sur l'icône «Ce PC »sur le bureau et choisissez «Gérer ».
Click “Device Manager”
Cliquez sur «Gestionnaire de périphériques »
Then click “Ports (COM&LPT)”
Cliquez ensuite sur «Ports (COM & LPT) »

7.3. How to Config Connect Port/Comment configurer le port de
connexion
Step1: Enter “Printer properties”interface of
the printer first to configure port after
knowing the connecting port. (The location of
“Printer properties” varies slightly from
system to system. No matter what system
your PC has been installed, the goal is to find
the location of “Printer properties”.)
Étape 1: Entrez d'abord dans l'interface «
Propriétés de l'imprimante »de l'imprimante pour
configurer le port après avoir connu le port de
connexion. (L'emplacement des « Propriétés de
l'imprimante » varie légèrement d'un système à
l'autre. Quel que soit le système sur lequel votre PC
a étéinstallé, l'objectif est de trouver l'emplacement
des «Propriétés de l'imprimante ».)
If your PC is installed with WIN7 system, please
follow the below steps to enter “Printer properties”
interface.
Si votre PC est installéavec le système WIN7,
veuillez suivre les étapes ci-dessous pour entrer
dans l'interface «Propriétés de l'imprimante ».
Right click “Aclas Printer”, choose “Printer properties”.
Faites un clic droit sur "Aclas Printer", choisissez "Propriétés de l'imprimante".
Click “Devices and Printers” in start menu.
Cliquez sur "Périphériques et imprimantes"
dans le menu Démarrer.
