Mounting the hand et
After opening the enclosure mount the basis on the all using expansion bolts, the ire is lead
out through hole in the basis. The handset address (usually apartment number) is
programmed using jumpers CODE / ADDRESS, the number beside the jumpers should give
the apartment number after adding up.
Operating the hand et
In order to take the call, pick up the receiver hile it is ringing. During the conversation it is
possible to open the door at the panel that is calling ith button No. 2 (optionally – different
devices can be controlled ith function button No. 1)
Conversation ends automatically after hanging-up.
In standby mode it is possible to set ringing volume, door bell volume (s itch 3). During the
conversation the door bell can be heard in the receiver.
It is possible to open the door or additional gate ithout established connection or picking-up
the receiver through pushing button 2 (this function has to be enabled in the panel) –
confirmation of opening the door is a single tone. If the line is busy and opening the door is not
possible, the triple tone sounds.
If there are more handsets connected to the same physical address and if one of them is
picked up hile all are ringing, the others automatically disconnect (the conversation can not
be heard from other handsets). In case of mixed installation ith handsets / video monitors
and need of connecting more monitors to the same address, you have to use INS-MPR
monitors from ACO range.

In case of higher amount of handsets you need to consider po er consumption in order to buy
appropriate po er supply (in standby mode and hile many ring at the same time – see
„Technical data”)

Maximal amount of handsets po ered by the panel should not exceed 50 pieces (assuming
there is only one handset ringing at a time). Po er supply should be accordingly bigger (ACO
recommends our PSU: TR DIN 12V 2A or DC PSU - DR-45-15), if there are more than one
handsets ringing at the same time, use diagram 1 or 2 and use the formula belo to estimate
the amount of po er supplies.
ADJUSTING VOLUME
After establishing connection e can adjust volume as follo s:
- volume control „RING” controls handset ringing volume for the s itch 3 in the middle
position.
- volume control „SPK” controls handset volume (conversation volume)

- po er consumption in standby mode: 0,09 W (max. 7mA)
- maximal po er consumption hile ringing: 50 mA
- voltage 12 - 18VDC
- operating temperatures +10C do +50C
- Dimensions: 80 / 201 / 45 mm ( idth, height, depth)
Using follo ing formula you can calculate po er consumption of given amount of handsets:
I [A] = (A + B) x 1,2
A = K x 0,007
B = L x 0,05
Legend: I – recommended po er efficiency of po er supply
K – amount of handsets
L – maximal amount of handsets that ring at the same time ( ith the same physical
addres)
In case of longer lines you need take voltages drops on the cables into consideration, in such
installations e recommend dividing it into groups ith many po er supplies.
