Part one: Access the Camera
1. Open the IP utility tool on the desktop.
2. Find the camera (Q960) you would like to install.
Note: MAC Address will be used in the second part of 1-2,
please record it for easy operation.
3. Open IE browser. (Please be sure to use IE browser.)
4. Enter the Camera IP on your browser, press “Enter” to go to the
Camera login page.
5. Fill in the account / password and click login to log in.
(Default account/ password→ User name: admin, Password: Aa123456)

Part two: Settings of Camera
Please refer to the following figure for the People counting setting:
1. Click “Configuration”.
2. Click “People Counting”.
3. Click “Rule”.
4. Make sure “Enable People Counting” has been checked.
5. Adjust “Auto” to “Manual”.
6. Enter the ceiling height (from the floor) and click “Calibration”.
7. Adjust the detection area and the detection line as the picture below.
*Note: The detection lines should be drawn on the same level (There
should be no unevenness on the detection line)

8. Click “Save” for the settings.

A. Please refer to the following steps for data upload settings.
1. Click “Data Uploading”, check “ON” for Real-Time Upload Data
2. IP should be set the same as the MGB Server.
3. Please set URL as “/PeopleCountingApi/Q960Receiver”
4. Set the Port ” 9005”
5. Click “Save” to save the settings
6. Click “Advanced”
7. Click “Enter/Leave” for Flow Overlay

8. Click “Save”.
B. Please refer below to modify the camera IP address
1. Click “Configuration”
2. Click “Network”
3. Click “Basic Settings”
4. Click “TCP/IP”
5. Uncheck “DHCP” to undo dynamic IP address setting
6. This is the IP address to configure
7. Subnet mask
8. Router address
9. Click “Save” to save the settings

10. When the settings are done, restart to apply all the settings. Click OK
to restart.

Part three: Set up related parameters for the webpage
1. Open the webpage (Using Google chrome browser)
http://localhost/MAS_RetailPackage/Setting/mgbmanagement.aspx
2. Sign in RAS (admin/123456)
3. Add new device settings
3-1. Click “Overview” “Setting” “MGB Server”
3-2. Click the same name as the one attached to the server. (Ex: MGB
Server)
3-3. Click “Add new device” as the picture below

3-4 Choose “Q960A” for the Device Type (Please refer to the picture
below)

3-5 Configure the details of the device
Camera name:
(Store name +960+location)
MAC Address:
Fill in the default Camera
MAC, please refer to step 2
of the first part.
Note: The minus sign (-) of
the MAC address must be
replaced with a colon (:)
Stream URL: Please
keep it blank.
Camera IP:Enter the IP of
Q960.
HTTP PORT Maintain the
number “80”
Account:admin
Password:Aa123456
3-6 Click “ Save”
3-7 Be sure all the devices
have been set properly,
then click “Lock”.
Click “Lock”→ Press “Save”
（If there are still other devices that need to be added (except Q960),
please click “Lock” after all the devices have been set without error.）
Note: The saved settings cannot be changed after clicking “Lock”！
（If there’s any setting error and need to adjust, please contact ACTi
customer service to unlock.）
