ABOUT
Adaptiv Mini
Adaptiv Mini allows HDMI and Camera input to the OEM screen. Includes remova-
ble dynamic parking guidelines.
This plug and play, Mini interface adds HDMI to connect your Apple or Android
device allowing you to display the contents on the vehicles original screen. Inputs
for front and rear aftermarket cameras also come as standard with the Mini.
Application
For Volkswagen vehicles on MIB Platform with Composition Media 5.8”, 8” and Dis-
cover Navigation 8” systems
Kit Includes
Adaptiv Interface, HDMI Adapter.
Prior to installation
Read the manual prior to installation. Technical knowledge is necessary for installa-
tion. The place of installation must be free of moisture and away from heat sources.

NOTE:
All connections are made at the
rear of the OEM head unit. No
connections need to be made
directly to the display.

USER GUIDE
HDMI Access
Select AUX In from the OEM Source Menu. Hold MEDIA Button for 2 seconds to switch
between OEM screen and Adaptiv mini HDMI screen.
Rear and Front Camera Access
From either HDMI mode or OEM mode
1. Select reverse gear for reverse camera
2. Deselect reverse gear - will go to aftermarket front camera ( if DIP 2 ON )
Press top right corner of screen to cancel front camera or drive over 10mph
Front Camera Access
Hold MENU Button for 2 seconds to enter the front camera screen (if DIP 2 is ON)
View Version Number
Hold MEDIA Button for 8 seconds to enter rmware information Screen
Hold MENU Button (or press top right corner of
touch screen) to disable the video in motion
warning message
Video In Motion Warning - 10mph
Dynamic Parking Guidelines
Set to On by default when reversing camera image is active. To toggle off/on, press
and hold MEDIA Button for two seconds when reversing camera image is active.
