Statement
Thisequipmenthasbeentestedandfoundtocomply withthelimitsfor
aClass Bdigital device,pursuanttoPart15 oftheFCC Rules.These
limitsare designedtoprovidereasonableprotectionagainstharmful
interferenceinaresidentialinstallation.Thisequipmentgenerates,
usesandcanradiateradiofrequency energyand,ifnotinstalledand
usedinaccordancewiththeinstructions, maycauseharmful
interferencetoradiocommunications.However,thereisnoguarantee
thatinterferencewill notoccurinaparticularinstallation.Ifthis
equipmentdoescauseharmfulinterferencetoradioortelevision
reception,whichcanbedeterminedbyturningtheequipmentoffand
on,theuserisencouragedtotrytocorrecttheinterferencebyoneof
thefollowingmeasures:

ThisequipmentcomplieswithFCC radiationexposurelimitssetforth

devicesoperatinginthesebands mustuseDFS(DynamicFrequency
Selection)todetectradaractivity andswitchchannelsautomaticallyto
avoid interferingwithradaroperations. DFSisrequiredforWLAN
devicesoperatingwithinthe5.25–5.35 GHzUNII-2andthe5.47–5.725
UNIIMid-Bandspectrums intheFCC regionsofNorthAmericaandthe
ETSIregionsinthe EuropeanCommunity.DFSisnotrequiredforWLAN
devicesoperatinginthe5.725-5.850 GHzspectruminFCC regions.(The
5.725-5.850GHzspectrumisnotavailableforwirelessuseinETSI
regions.) HiveAP300 seriesmodelssupportDFS-FCCandDFS-ETSIand
arepermittedtooperateinthe5.25–5.35 GHzand5.47–5.725 GHz
bands inoutdoordeploymentsintheFCCandETSIregions.
