4Safety requirements
4.1 Permitted uses of this machine
The sprayer may be used exclusively for agricultural work in the field and for vegetable
production, in particular cultures and forage for the application of pesticides and liquid fertilizers.
The sprayer may be operated, maintained, and connected only by those who are familiar with the
potential hazards associated with the operation of the machine.
Max. allowed sprayer speed is 40km/h.
Max. permissible sprayer speed with extended booms is 12 km/h.
Max. guaranteed slope availability is 7%.
Permitted use also explicitly implies:
-noting all the recommendations in this manual.
-compliance with the warranty conditions and maintenance.
-immediate removal of any defects that could endanger the operator or machine.
Attention!
Any use not in compliance with the manual is not permitted!
For damages caused by unauthorized use:
-the user alone bears full responsibility.
-the manufacturer's warranty does not apply.
Observe the relevant safety and technical regulations, occupational health regulations, and traffic
rules.
The manufacturer is not liable for damage caused by modifications made to the machine by the
user.
The manufacturer is not aware of any known negative effects of pesticides that could damage the
machine.
Attention!
This manual must be read carefully before using the machine and the advice given must be
followed precisely!
The manufacturer accepts no liability for damages caused by inattention!
4.2 Safety and accident prevention regulations
4.2.1 General safety regulations
-Check traffic and operating safety before each use!
-Observe the recommendations of this manual and the general safety and accident prevention
regulations!
-When using the machine on public roads follow the relevant regulations!

www.agrio.cz
-Travel speed should be adapted to the driving conditions, slope, and tank level!
-Permissible maximum speed when driving with farm or floatation tires should be adapted to the
recommendations of the tire manufacturer!
-Before starting work, become acquainted with all devices, controls and functions of the
machine!
-Before starting, make sure no other persons are close by!
-Ensure a clear view!
-Check the transport equipment, e.g. lights, warning and safety signs!
-When turning corners, beware of the machine overturning and centrifugal force!
-Riding on the machine during work and in traffic is forbidden!
-The permitted weight load of the axle, suspension, and jack leg must not be exceeded!
-When folding and unfolding booms, ensure that no one is in the boom area!
-Do not stay under the extended booms!
-A cutting site exists for all hydraulically folded areas!
4.2.2 Hydraulic system
-The hydraulic system is under pressure!
-When connecting hydraulic cylinders and pumps, observe the prescribed connections for
hydraulic hoses!
-Check the maintenance of hydraulic hoses regularly, replace when damaged and old!
-Replaced tubing must conform to the technical requirements of the machine's manufacturer!
-When searching for leaks, use appropriate aids due to the risk of injury!
-Escaping fluids (hydraulic oil) under high pressure can penetrate the skin and cause serious
injury! In case of injury, consult a doctor immediately! Risk of infection!
-Before working on the hydraulic system, lower the booms to transport position, or completely
assemble them. The equipment must not be under pressure!
Attention!
The hydraulic system is under high pressure!
High pressure must always be relieved before working on the hydraulic system.
Work on the hydraulics may be carried out only by professionally trained personnel.
Custom modifications or changes to the hydraulic system will void warranty claims.
4.2.3 Drive
-Before turning on the drive, make sure that the selected speed of the tractor corresponds to the
maximum RPMs of the sprayer pump and that one is standing near the sprayer!
-Never turn on the drive when the engine is off!
4.2.4 Brakes
-Set the load regulator to the appropriate load level.
-Check the brakes before every ride!
-Brake adjustments and repairs must be performed by a specialized workshop or authorized
technician!
4.2.5 Tires
-When working on the tires, secure the machine from rolling (use wheel chocks).
-Installing wheels and tires requires adequate knowledge and tools!

www.agrio.cz
-Repairs to the wheels and tires may be provided only by qualified personnel and with the
designated tools!
-Check the wheel nuts and bolts! Failure to comply can result in the loss of a wheel and the
machine may tip over!
-After the first 50 km, tighten and regularly test the tightness of the bolts.
-Check the pressure regularly! The pressure must correspond to the actual load capacity and
wheel loads!
-Regularly check the tires for damage (cuts, punctures, bulges)!
-A table with pressure for different speeds is indicated on the tire.
4.2.6 Repair and maintenance
-Check the nuts and bolts regularly to ensure that they are securely tightened, and tighten them if
necessary!
-Properly dispose of oils, greases and filters!
-Before working on electrical equipment, disconnect the power!
-Safety equipment that wears out must be inspected regularly and replaced timely!
-When performing welding work on the sprayer, disconnect the power supply!
-Do not open lines that are under pressure! Release the pressure first using the nozzles!
-Replacement hoses used for pesticides may only be hoses with a working pressure of min. 20
bars that meet the necessary mechanical, chemical and thermal resistance! Only stainless steel
bands may be used for assembly!
-Repairs to the tank may be carried out only after completely washing the inside of the tank and
using a breathing mask or oxygen mask! For safety reasons, another person must remain outside
the tank for supervision during repairs!
-When repairing sprayers that apply liquid fertilizers with nitrates and urea, pay particular
attention to the following:
- When the water evaporates, the residues of dissolved nitrate and urea convert into salts, forming
pure nitrates and urea.
- If the critical temperature is exceeded during repair (e.g. grinding, welding), nitrate in its pure
form, when combined with organic materials (e.g. urea) is explosive!
- Nitrate salts and urea are water soluble, which means that before making repairs, wash
thoroughly with water to eliminate the danger of explosion.
Attention!
Repairs to the sprayers may only be performed by qualified personnel!
4.2.7 Handling pesticides
-Follow the recommendations of the chemical manufacturer!
-Wear protective clothing and observe the regulations on use and cleaning!
-Substances which tend to stick together or coagulate must not be applied!
-When working with pesticides, it is forbidden to eat, drink or smoke!
-Limit children's access to the sprayers and preparations!
-Never attempt to blow through the nozzles and other small parts with your mouth!
Attention!
Prior to the application of fertilizers and preparations, carefully read the safety data sheet and
carefully observe the operating instructions.
