DESCRIPTION:
The LDF-C and LDF-CA console intercom system
provides the same features as the LAF-C/CA, but with
the added ability to selectively control remote devices
(suchasdoorstrikes,maglocks,lights,alarmcontacts,
etc.). Masters are available in 20 and 40 station sizes,
with or without a handset. Add-on selectors with 20 or
40 station capacity can be connected to expand the
system. Single or multi-master capability, fully
intermixable with all LEF series components.

SPECIFICATIONS:
Power Source: DC 12V. Use PS-12C or PS-12F power supply.
Current Consumption: 350mA Maximum
Power Output: 500mW (master to sub); 800mW (sub to master)
Calling: Mono-electronic tone while call button is pressed, plus LED for 20 seconds.
Communication: Press-to-talk at calling master, or VOX (voice actuated) with handset
Hands free at remote or responding master
Talk Channel: Single talk channel
Wiring: 1 Master system: 2 conductors homerun from each remote. Use Aiphone #822202.
Multi-master system: 2 common + 1 individual wire per sub station.
Between masters: 4 common + 1 wire per station in the system. Add 1 wire for each
contact that is used within the system and 4 common wires if All Call is included.
Use Aiphone 82-series shielded wire.
Wiring Distance: 650’ w/ 22AWG; 1600’ w/18AWG
Mounting: Desk or wall mount
SelectiveControl Contact: 12V DC, 30mA. Use RY-PA relay for each selective contact required.

ARCHITECTS/ENGINEERS’ SPECIFICATIONS:
The intercom system shall be of an open voice, selective
calling type, available in 20 or 40 station sizes, with 20 and
40 station add-on selectors for expansion capability.
Master station shall have individual selector buttons with
associated LEDs for call-in indication, and a directory for
stationlabeling. Acall-inshall lightthe LEDfor approximately
20 seconds and activate a momentary call tone. The call
shall be answered by pressing the station’s selector button,
then pressing the TALK button to transmit, releasing to listen.
The person at the remote speaks hands free. The system
shall provide master-to-master communication with hands
free reply from the responding station.

Master station shall be equipped with power ON/OFF switch,
transmitand receivevolume controls,CALL andTALK buttons.
Station selectors shall be in rows of five, with an OFF button
for each row. An “Occupied” LED shall indicate if the system
isin use. All Calltransmission froma master shallbe available
with additional equipment.
Compatible remote stations shall include surface or flush
mount styles, with or without privacy, outdoor stations, and
vandal proof stations (surface or flush mounted, weather
resistant).
System shall be manufactured by Aiphone.
