Warranties
This product has undergone various quality controls to ensure proper operation.
This product is covered by a two-year warranty for countries inside European Union. For other countries, the
warranty period is one year only. In the event of any manufacturing fault or breakdown, it will be repaired by
OvisLink Corp. Please contact your supplier for details on the procedure to follow. This warranty shall not be
applicable in the event of damage caused by improper use of the product, accidents, faulty handling or

Important Information
The following installation operates under Windows XP. Procedures are similar for Windows
98SE/Me/2000/2003 Server.
Please do not install the adaptor into your computer before installing the software program from the CD.
Install the Driver and Utility
1. Insert the Installation CD to your CD-ROM Drive. Click
“Utility” and will execute the “setup” program.
2. Click “Yes” to process the installation if you accept the
license agreement.
3. In Windows XP, there is a “Windows Zero Configuration
Tool” for you to setup the wireless adaptor. You can
choose to configure the adaptor through the Windows Zero
Configuration Tool or the AirLive Turbo-G Configuration
Tool for the adaptor. It is recommended to choose the
AirLive Turbo-G Configuration Tool for the adaptor. Click
“Next” to continue.
4. If you need the adaptor to operate with better performance,
please choose the “Optimize for performance” to enable
the Tx Burst mode. Or you can choose “Optimize for Wi-Fi
mode” to let the adaptor run in standard wireless network.

5. The system starts to install the software of the adaptor. Please follow the
instructions of the program to plug in the adaptor into the USB port of
your computer. And the system will automatically detect the adaptor.
6. Please click “Finish” to complete the installation.
Use the AirLive Turbo-G Wireless
Configuration Utility
When the adaptor is installed, the AirLive Wireless
configuration utility will be displayed automatically. This
adaptor will auto connect to wireless device which has
better signal strength and no wireless security setting
In Windows XP, there is a “Windows Zero
Configuration Tool” for you to setup wireless clients. If
you want to switch to use AirLive Wireless
configuration utility, please follow one of the ways as
below.

1. Right click the icon in the system tray and
select “Use AirLiveConfig as Configuration
utility”.
2. Right-click the icon and select “View Available
Wireless Networks”. Click “Advanced”.
3. Uncheck “Use Windows to configure my
wireless network settings” to enable the
utility for the adaptor
Note: If “Wireless Zero Configuration” is
enabled, you can only configure the advance
setting or check the link status and statistics
from the configuration utility of the adaptor.

1. Inserte el CD de Instalación en el Drive del CD-ROM. Haga

Wichtige Informationen
Die hier beschriebenen Installationsschritte beziehen sich auf Windows XP. Der Ablauf unter Windows

Treiber und Utility installieren
1. Legen Sie die Installations-CD ins CD-ROM-Laufwerk Ihres

2. Wenn Sie die Lizenzvereinbarungen akzeptieren klicken Sie
bitte auf “Ja”
3. Zur Einrichtung der Wireless-Karte verfügt Windows XP über
ein “Windows Zero Konfigurations-Tool”. Sie können den
Wireless-Adapter mit diesem Tool oder mit dem AirLive
Wireless-Konfigurations-Tool konfigurieren. Wir empfehlen die
Verwendung des AirLive Turbo-G Konfigurations Tools. Um
fortzufahren klicken Sie bitte auf “weiter”.
4. Falls Sie mehr Geschwindigkeit benötigen, so wählen Sie bitte
“ Optimize for performance”. Das aktiviert den
TX-Burstmodus. Alternativ können Sie “optimize for Wi-Fi
mode” wählen, wodurch auch ein Betrieb in einem
Standard-Wireless-Netzwerk möglich ist.

Das AirLive Wireless
Konfigurations-Utility benutzen
Nach Installation des Adapters wird das AirLive
Wireless Konfigurations-Utility angezeigt. Der Adapter
wird sich automatisch mit Wireless-Geräten verbinden,
die über eine größere Signalstärke und keine
weiteren Sicherheitseinstellungen verfügen.In der
Systemleiste finden Sie ein neues Icon für den
Wireless-Adapter. Ein Doppelklick darauf öffnet das
AirLive Wireless Konfigurations-Utility.
Um Wireless-Clients einzurichten gibt es unter
Windows XP das “Windows Zero
Konfigurationsutility”. Wenn Sie zum AirLive
Wireless-Konfigurationsutility wechseln möchten, so
wählen Sie bitte einen der beschriebenen Wege.
