As the colours of the wires in the mains lead c}fthis appliancf? may
not correspond with the colour markings identifying the terminals
in your plug, proceed as folllows:
The wire which is coloured ILUE must be connected to the
terminal which is marked by-me letter Nor coloured BLACK.
The wire which is coloured BROWiN must be connected to the
terminal which is markf?d by the letter Lor coloured RED.
DO NOT connect either the! BL.UE cjr BROWN wire of the mains
lead to the earth terminal (marked with the letter Eor by the earth

On installation
Avoid placing the turntable:

.Where is sunny, extremely cold or hot, dusty

Before use, check that the rated voltage of
your set matches the local voltage.

On safety
●Unplug the unit when you do not intend to use
it for along time.
●When you disconnect the unit, pull out the
cord by the plug and not by the cord itself.
On cleaning
●Before playing arecord, clean the stylus with
asoft brush from back to front. Do not touch
the stylus with your finger. When you use a
fluid stylus cleaner, make sure not to moisten
the stylus too much.
sClean the cabinet and dust cover periodically
with asofl dry cloth. Amild detergent solution
may be used, but never use strong solvents
which can damage the surface.

Sicherheit

Reinigung
.Vor dem Abspielen einer Schallplafte die
Nadel mit einer weichen Btirste von hinten
nach vorne reinigen. Die Nadel darf niemals
mit dem Finger beruhrt werden. Bei Ver-
wendung einer Reinigungsfkissigkeit mu13
darauf geachtet werden, da~ die Nadel nicht
zu nai3 wird.
.Das Gehause und die Staubschutzhaube
regeimaBig mit einem weichen, trockenen
Tuch reinigen. Eine mi[de Reinigungslosung
kann vemvendet werden, aber niemals scharfe
Reinigungsmittel, da dadurch das Gehause
beschadigt werden kann.
Replace the stylus after approximately 400
hours of use. An AN-1 1replacement stylus is
available at vour AIWA dealer. Handle this
delicate stylu~ with care.

Nettoyage
.Avant de jouer un disque, nettoyer la pointe
de lecture avec une brosse deuce, de l’ar-
rierevers I’avant. Ne pastoucher la pointe de
lecture avec Ies doigts. Lorsque Iron utilise
un produit de nettoyage de pointe de lecture
Iiquide, faire attention a ne pas trop humidi-
fier la pointe de lecture.
●Nettoyer periodiquement Ie coffret et Ie cou-
vercie anti-poussiere avec un tissu sec et
doux. Une solution de detergent doux peut
6tre utilisee, mais ne jamais utiliser de
solvants forts sous peine d’endommager la
surface.
Remplacer la pointe de lecture apr% approxi-
mativement 400 heures d’utilisation. Une po-
inte de lecture de replacement AN-11 est
disponible chez votre revendeur AlWA. Mani-
puler cette pointe de lecture delicate avec
soin.

tamente I’uso di solventi forti che potrebbero
danneggiare la superficie.
Sostituire la puntina dopo circa 400 ore di USO.
Le puntine di ricambio AN-11 sono disponibili
presso irivenditori AlWA. La puntina deve
essere trattata con curs.

If the sound heard is too low when the unit is
connected to PHONO jack, set the (phono)
EQUALIZER AMP. selector to ON.
Note on connections
Connect the red plug to.the right-channel jack
(R), and the white plug to the left-channel jack

.Hold the ribbon tape which is attached to
the belt and loop the belt over the motor
pulley. Be sure it does not twist.

The dust cover can be attached and de-
tached. To detach it, simply lift it up as
shown in the figure.

When the tonearm reaches the end of the
record, it will automatically return to the arm
rest.
To lift the stylus during play
Press ~Y!.
To stop during play
Press CUT.
Note
If you move the tonearm close to the center
while the turntable is rotating, thetonearm may
return to the armrest. Do not resist this move-
ment, as this may damage the automatic re-
turn mechanism,
If the tonearm does not return to the armrest
during initial operation, press CUT. After this,
the tonearm automatically returns to the arm-
rest.
2 Legen Sie eine Schallplatte auf.
Verwenden Sie im Falle einer 17-cm-Platte
den mitgelieferten 45-Upm-Adapter.
3Wahlen Sie die Drehzahl.

Bei Beendigung der Schsllplatten-Wleder-

Wenn der Tonarm das Ende der Schallplatte
erreicht, kehrl er automatisch zur Tonarm-
auflage zuriick.
Anheben der Nadel wahrend der Wieder-
gabe

Stoppen wahrend der Wiedergabe
Cut drucken.
Hinweis
Wenn der Tonarm zu weit zur Mitte bewegt
wird, wahrend sich der Plattenteller dreht, ist
es moglich, da13 er zur Tonarmauflage
zuruckkehrt. Diese Bewegung darf nicht be-
hindert werden, weil dadurch der Mechanis-
ms fur die automatische Tonarmruckfuhrung
beschadigt werden kann.

mouvement car cela pourrait endommager Ie
mecanisme de retour automatique.

3Elija la velocidad de rotation.
4Elija el tamaiio del disco.
5Presione START para iniciar la reproduc-
tion.
Cuando se hayaterminado la reproduction
del disco
Cuando el brazo fonocaptor Ilegue al final del
disco, volvera automaticamente asu estribo.
Para elevar al aguja durante la reproduc-
tion
Presione ~Y!.
Para dejar de reproducer
Presione CUT.
Nota
Si mueve el brazo fonocaptor hasta cerca del
centro mientras este girando el plate, el brazo
volvera al estribo. No fuerce el brazo cuando
haga este movimiento porque se podria dafiar
el mecanismo de retorno automatic.
Si el brazo fonocaptor no vuelve al estribo
durante la operation initial, presione el boton
CUT. Despues de hacerlo, el brazo volvera
automaticamente al estribo.

El brazo fonocaptor descenders sobre el
disco yse iniciara la reproducci6n.
Nota
Se si tents di spostare il braccio piti verso il
centromentre ilpiattogiradischi einmovimento,
il braccio potrebbe invece ritornare sulla posi-
zione di riposo. Evitare di forzare questo
movimento, perche cio potrebbe danneggiare
il meccanismo di ritorno automatic.
Se il braccio non ritorna sull’appoggio nel
torso del funzionamento iniziale, premere il
tasto CUT. IIbraccio ritornera automaticamente
sull’appoggio.
