It is important that this instruction manual should be retained with the Portable
Record Player for future reference. These warnings have been provided in the
interest of safety. You MUST read them carefully before installation or use.

• Please ensure that the appliance
is used on a stable, level, and
heat resistant surface.
• Do not immerse cords or any part
of the appliance in water or any

USB Cable during lightning

• If the appliance is not going to

disconnected from its power

• If the appliance is brought
directly from a cold place to
a warm one, moisture may
condense inside the appliance
which will cause malfunction.
Should this occur, leave the
appliance off for a few hours until
the moisture evaporates.
• Do not place anything heavy on to
the appliance.
• Never attempt to disassemble
the appliance. There probably
would be a risk of electric shock
and/or harm by exposure.

the back of the speaker. There
are NO user-serviceable parts

USING YOUR APPLIANCE
BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Remove the product from the box.
2. Remove any packaging from the product.
3. Please retain all packaging until you
have checked and counted all the parts
and the contents against the parts list.
4. Your appliance is now ready for normal
use.
POWERING ON AND CHARGING THE
BATTERY
Your Retro Speaker can be powered by a
rechargeable battery.
1. Insert one end of the USB Cable into
the USB jack and plug the other into the
USB jack of a computer or external USB
power source.
2. Flip the ON/OFF switch into the ON
position to turn the speaker on.
3. While charging, the LED Light on the
Volume knob will illuminate red. Once
the battery is fully charged the light
will turn off. Note: It’s recommended
to fully charge the battery before first
use. It should take 6 hours to charge the
battery.
4. When finished charging, unplug the USB
Cable from the power jack and your
computer.
Note: The speaker can still be used while
charging the battery, but will take more time
to fully charge.
USING THE CONTROLS
1. ON/OFF – Turns the speaker on and off.
2. Skip Backwards – Skip to previous track.
3. Bluetooth – Pairs your speaker with your
external device.
4. Volume – Controls the volume level.
5. LED Light – Indicates when the speaker
is charging, ready for pairing via
Bluetooth and when successfully paired
with an external device.
6. Skip Forward – Skip to the next track.
7. Play/Pause – Plays or Pauses audio.
8. AUX – Connects to an external device via
an AUX cable.
USING BLUETOOTH
1. Flip the ON/OFF switch to the ON
position. The LED light on the Volume
knob will flash blue.
2. Turn on Bluetooth on in your external
device and look for “A58052”.
3. Select the speaker name and pair it with
your device. If a password is required,
press “0000”.
4. Once you’re connected the LED light will
stop flashing indicating your device has
successfully paired.
5. If pairing is unsuccessful, restart both
devices and repeat the steps above.
6. Use the media controls on the Control
Panel to control playback.

USING YOUR APPLIANCE
USING AUX
1. Put the ON/OFF switch to the ON
position.
2. Insert the supplied Aux cable into the
Aux jack on the top of the speaker.
3. Insert the other end of the cable into the
line-out jack or headphone jack on your
external audio device.
4. Use the Volume control knob to adjust
volume and other media controls on the
control panel to control playback. Note:
You can also control playback on your
auxiliary device.
Note: If the line-out of your external device
is connected, you only need to adjust
system’s volume control. If the headphone
jack is connected, the volume may need
to be adjusted on both the speaker and
your external device to achieve the desired
volume.

TROUBLESHOOTING
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
1. Clean the unit with a soft, damp cloth.
Never use chemicals or hard abrasives.
2. Keep this unit away from wet or damp
surroundings.
3. Store in a clean, dry place.

plug into your computer’s USB jack.
No sound Volume not adjusted.

Adjust the volume level.
Select the correct source.
Turn ON the device.
Adjust the Volume control knob to
increase the volume.
Sound is distorted Volume level is set too high. Decrease the volume.
Unit becomes
warm after
extended play at
high volume.
This is normal. Turn the unit o for some time or
lower the volume.
