or workmanship, the faulty product must be
returned to the place of purchase.

If you need to remove the plug – disconnect it from the mains – and then cut it off of the mains lead
and immediately dispose of it in a safe manner. Never attempt to reuse the plug or insert it into a
socket outlet as there is a danger of an electric shock.

• If the appliance is brought
directly from a cold place
to a warm one, moisture

appliance which will cause
malfunction. Should this
occur, leave the appliance
off for a few hours until the
moisture evaporates.

speaker. There are NO user-

Particular care should be

appliance develops a fault,

ADDITIONAL BATTERY SAFETY
PRECAUTIONS
• DO NOT use a battery pack
or appliance that is damaged
or modified. Damaged or
modified batteries may
exhibit unpredictable
behaviour resulting in fire,
explosion or risk of injury. DO
NOT expose battery pack or
appliance to fire or excessive
temperatures. Exposure to
fire or temperatures above
60°C (140°F) may cause
explosion.

• The battery is a sealed
unit and under normal
circumstances poses no
safety concerns. In the
unlikely event that liquid
leaks from the battery, DO
NOT touch the liquid as it
may cause irritation or burns
to skin, eyes or nose. Should
battery liquid come in contact
with skin, immediately wash
the affected area with soap
and water. In case of eye
contact, immediately flush
your eyes thoroughly with
water for at least 15 minutes
and seek medical attention.
• In case of inhalation,
immediately expose to fresh
air and seek out medical
advice.
• Disposal – wear gloves to
handle the battery. Dispose of
it immediately, following local
ordinances or regulations.
• Follow all charging
instructions and DO NOT
charge the battery pack
or the appliance outside
of the temperature range
specified in the instructions.
Charging improperly or at
a temperature outside of
the specified range may
damage the battery and
increase the risk of fire. To
ensure maximum battery
life, observe the following
guidelines:
• When not in use the
appliance should be stored
at room temperature.
Recommended range: 18°C
(64°F) to 28°C (82°F).
• The ambient temperature
range for operation and
charging should be 10°C
(50°F) to 30°C (86°F).
• FIRE WARNING – DO NOT
place this product on or
near a cooker or any other
hot surface and DO NOT
incinerate this appliance even
if it is severely damaged. The
battery might catch fire or
explode.

USING YOUR APPLIANCE
BEFORE FIRST USE:
• Remove your appliance from the packaging.
• Please retain all packaging until you have
checked and counted all the parts and the
contents against the parts list.
• Check there is no damage to the cord or visible
damage to the unit.
• Dispose of the packaging in a responsible
manner.
• Locate your appliance in accordance with the
safety instructions.
• Your appliance is now ready for normal use.
CHARGING THE UNIT:
1. Insert the micro-USB end of the included
charging cable into the corresponding port
on the unit’s control panel and the other into
a compatible USB port or mains adaptor (not
included).
2. Whilst charging the red charging indicator will
illuminate.
3. Once the device is fully charged the red light
will turn off.
4. When the device has finished charging, unplug
the adaptor from the unit:
- If charging through an adaptor, take care to
switch the mains outlet off before removing
the cable.
- If charging through a laptop or similar
device, take care to unmount the cable before
removing it from the unit. To unmount the
cable, use the device management menu on
your laptop or computer.
NOTE: It is recommended to fully charge the
battery before first use.
TURNING THE UNIT ON AND OFF:
• Long-press the Power On/Off button to turn
the unit on. There is an audio prompt and the
LED effect comes on. If an external device is
connected, the unit automatically defaults to
that playing mode; otherwise, it defaults to
Bluetooth mode.
• Long-press this button again while the unit is in
operation to turn it off. The LED effect will go out
and sound will stop emitting from the speaker.
PLAYING MODES:
This speaker can reproduce audio files through
Bluetooth, from a USB device, from a TF card, or from
an external source through the AUX jack.
Press the MODE button to cycle through and select
the available playing modes. When a USB or TF
card is inserted the display will automatically start
reproducing audio from that source.
NOTE: The first time the speaker is switched on it will
enter into Bluetooth mode by default.
CONNECTING TO BLUETOOTH:
1. Long-press the Power On/Off button to turn
the unit on. Bluetooth mode will automatically
activate by default.
2. Turn on your Bluetooth enabled device and
activate the Bluetooth function.
3. Search for and select the Bluetooth device,
‘A58216’.
4. If required, enter the password ‘0000’ to confirm
and finalise pairing.
5. Your speaker should now be paired with your
device. An audio signal will be heard to confirm
connection.
Note: The speaker will automatically pair with
previously paired devices.
• To connect to a new device, firstly disconnect
the current connection on your existing device
and then repeat the above instructions on the
different device.
BLUETOOTH MODE:
When operating in Bluetooth mode:
• Short press the PLAY/PAUSE button to play
and pause the music;
• Whilst the music is playing:
- Short-press the NEXT button to move to the
next track.
- Short-press the PREVIOUS button to move to
the previous track.

MP3 MODE (USB/TF):
Whenever a USB drive or TF card are inserted
into the unit, it will automatically revert to the
corresponding mode and start reproducing music
from the connected device.
When operating in USB or TF mode:
• Short press the PLAY/PAUSE button to play
and pause the music;
• Press the Mode button to switch to Bluetooth
mode;
• Whilst the music is playing:
- Short-press the NEXT button to move to the
next track.
- Short-press the PREVIOUS button to move to
the previous track.
AUX MODE:
To use AUX mode, start by inserting the included
AUX cable into the corresponding jack on the unit’s
control panel.
Press the Mode button to change to AUX mode.
When operating in AUX mode:
• Short press the Play/Pause button to play and
pause the music.
• Press the Mode button to switch to Bluetooth
mode.
NOTE: The Previous Track/Next Track functions are
not available on AUX mode. Use the source device
to skip to the previous or next track when using this
mode.
HANDS-FREE CALLING:
This unit allows for hands-free calling when in
Bluetooth mode.
When using the hands-free calling function:
• Short press the PLAY/PAUSE button to answer
a call.
• Short-press this button again while in a call to
hang up.
• Long-press this button to reject the call.
• Double-click this button to redial the last dialled
number.
VOLUME CONTROL:
To control playback volume on any mode:
• Long-press the NEXT button to increase the
sound output;
• Long-press the PREVIOUS button to decrease
the sound output.
LIGHT EFFECT CONTROL:
This unit is equipped with a changeable LED effect.
Short-press the Power On/Off button while the unit
is on to cycle through and select the available LED
colours, in the following order:
1. Blue,
2. Green,
3. Red,
4. Orange,
5. Light Blue,
6. Automatic colour-changing cycle
7. Lights OFF
Short-press this button again at any time to change
to a different colour.
TWS FUNCTION:
1. Prepare the two speakers by entering both
speakers into Bluetooth mode.
2. Press and hold the Mode button of one speaker
and it will automatically search for the other
speaker.
3. Once successfully paired an audio signal will
be heard.
4. The speakers will search for an existing
Bluetooth connection, alternatively connect a
new device via Bluetooth.
5. Press and hold the Mode button of one speaker
to disconnect TWS mode.
6. Whilst in TWS mode, both speakers are
controlled simultaneously

TROUBLESHOOTING THE APPLIANCE
CLEANING AND CARE
PROBLEM SOLUTION
The unit will not turn
on. Make sure the battery is charged and the unit is turned on.
The unit will not play. Make sure the unit is powered on.
Make sure the unit is paired to a compatible Bluetooth device.
Make sure the volume level on the source device is higher than 0.
Adjust the output volume if necessary.
It is not possible
to answer calls
wirelessly.
Make sure the unit is paired to the relevant Bluetooth device.
1. Clean the appliance with a soft, lint free cloth.
2. Do not use abrasives or harsh cleaners, liquid cleaners, or aerosols.
CAUTION: Never leave the unit in direct sunlight or in hot, humid or dusty places.
CAUTION: DO NOT immerse the unit in water.
Keep the unit away from heating appliances and sources of electrical noise such as fluorescent lamps
or motors.
RECYCLING
DISPOSAL OF THE UNIT:
Appliances bearing the symbol shown here may not be disposed of in domestic rubbish.
You are required to dispose of old electrical and electronic appliances like this separately.

about the recycling of electrical items.
Please visit www.weeeireland.ie for access to information about the recycling of
electrical items purchased in Ireland.
The WEEE directive, introduced in August 2006, states that all electrical items must be recycled,
rather than taken to landfill.
Please arrange to take this appliance to your local Civic Amenity site for recycling, once it has reached
the end of its life.
Batteries should never be place in the general household waste bin.
Never place batteries on a fire!
To recycle your lithium batteries, you will need to take them to a specialist recycling centre. Or, to
dispose of them, you will need to go to a hazardous waste collection site.
For other batteries, they should be disposed of at a local household recycling centre for which details
can be found on your local authority website.
