Beschreibung:
Das Mikrofon enthält einen dynamischen Wandler mit
kugelförmiger Richtcharakteristik. Damit ist das Mikrofon für
Schallwellen aus allen Richtungen gleich empfindlich, was
für gewisse Anwendungen ein großer Vorteil ist.
Eine Brummkompensationswicklung am Wandler verhindert
den störenden Einfluß von äußeren magnetischen Feldern,
die in der Nähe von netzbetriebenen Geräten, aber auch
elektrischen Leitungen vorkommen.
Der Wandler ist im Mikrofongehäuse elastisch gelagert,
um die Empfindlichkeit für Hantierungsgeräusche weitest-
gehend herabzusetzen.
Eine Schaumstoffauskleidung innerhalb der Gitterkappe ver-
ringert Störgeräusche von Wind- und Atemgeräuschen.
Das Mikrofongehäuse ist aus Ganzmetall und dadurch
extrem robust für den oft rauhen Außendienst von Reportern
gestaltet. Die dunkelgraue Farbgebung soll die Auffälligkeit
des Mikrofons auch bei TV- und Videoübertragungen stark
herabsetzen.
Empfohlene Verwendung:
Als Reportagemikrofon, wobei die Kugelcharakteristik bei
den nicht vorhersehbaren Aufnahmewinkeln von Vorteil
ist. Weiters ist bei diesem Mikrofon der erzielte Klangcha-
rakter unabhängig vom Besprechungsabstand und damit
beim Reportageeinsatz ein wesentlicher Vorteil.
Die Umgebungsgeräusche werden zwar auch mit über-
tragen, jedoch bezogen auf den Nutzabstand zur aufzu-
nehmenden Schallquelle in geringerem Maße und vor
allem verfärbungsfrei.

Description:
The D 230 is an omnidirectional dynamic microphone. It
is equally sensitive to sound waves arriving from all direc-
tions. Therefore, it provides uncolored reproduction of
sounds from off-axis directions.
A hum compensation coil on the transducer element can-
cels any interference from stray magnetic fields in the vici-
nity of AC powered equipment or power lines.
The transducer element is shock mounted inside the micro-
phone body in order to reduce the microphone’s sensitiv-
ity to handling noise to a minimum.
A foam lining in the wire mesh grill reduces wind and breath
noise.
The microphone features an extremely rugged all-metal body
so it will withstand the tough conditions often encountered
in location reporting work. Its dark gray finish makes it very
unobtrusive, a particular asset when used on camera in
TV or video productions.
Using the D 230:
The D 230 has beed designed for reporting, ENG, and
EFP use. Thanks to its omnidirectional polar pattern, no infor-
mation coming from unexpected angles will be lost. Another
benefit of this pickup pattern, particularly for reporting
work, is that the sound on tape will not vary with the
source to microphone distance.
Although ambient sound will be recorded along with the
wanted sound, it will be lower in level depending on the
source to microphone distance and above all, it will be
uncolored.

Description:
Grâce à son transducteur dynamique à caractéristique
omnidirectionnelle, ce microphone capte avec la même
intensité les ondes acoustiques venant de toutes les direc-
tions, un avantage fort appréciable dans un certain nom-
bre d’applications.
Sur le transducteur, une bobine compensatrice de ronfle-
ment élimine les influences perturbatrices des champs
magnétiques externes rencontrés à proximité d’appareils
alimentés par le secteur de même que dans le voisinage
de lignes électriques.
La suspension élastique du transducteur dans le boîtier réduit
au maximum la transmission des bruits de manipulation.
Une couche de mousse à l’intérieur du chapeau grillagé
atténue les bruits de vent et de souffle.
Le boîtier entièrement métallique, extrêmement robuste,
est fait pour encaisser les chocs sévères auxquels est sou-
vent exposé un micro de reporter. Sa couleur gris foncé a
été choisie pour le rendre aussi discret que possible dans
les reportages télévisés ou vidéo.
Application recommandée:
En tant que micro de reporter: la caractéristique omnidi-
rectionnelle est particulièrement intéressante lorsqu’il s’agit
de capter le son sous des angles inattendus. Par ailleurs,
autre avantage appréciable pour le reportage, la distance
à laquelle se trouve l’interlocuteur n’influe pas sur le timbre.
Les bruits ambiants sont aussi captés, mais sans coloration
et atténués par rapport à la distance effective de la source.

Descrizione:
Il microfono è dotato di un trasduttore dinamico a direttività
omnidirezionale. In tal modo, il microfono è ugualmente
sensibile per le onde sonore provenienti da tutte le dire-
zioni il che è di grande vantaggio per determinati impieghi.
L’avvolgimento di compensazione del ronzìo sul trasdut-
tore impedisce l’influsso disturbante di campi magnetici ester-
ni che si verificano nella vicinanza di apparecchi ali-
mentati dalla rete, ma anche di linee elettriche.
Il supporto del trasduttore nel corpo microfonico è elastico
per ridurre al massimo la sensibilità nei confronti dei rumori
causati dalla manipolazione.
Il rivestimento in schiuma all’interno del cesto protettivo inter-
no alla griglia riduce i rumori disturbanti causati dal vento
e dal soffio.
Il corpo microfonico è realizzato interamente in metallo e
quindi estremamente robusto; è così particolarmente adatto
per l’impiego duro delle reportages. Grazie al colore
grigio scuro, il microfono diventa poco vistoso durante l’im-
piego in trasmissioni televisive e video.
Usi raccomandati:
Per reportages dove la direttività omnidirezionale è impor-
tante perchè gli angoli di ripresa non sono prevedibili. Inoltre,
il carattere sonoro raggiunto con questo microfono è indi-
pendente dalla distanza di registrazione, il che costituisce
un grande vantaggio per le reportages.
Anche se vengono captati i rumori ambientali, riferiti alla
distanza utile dalla fonte sonora da riprendere vengono
trasmessi in misura ridotta e, soprattutto, senza perdere la
loro caratteristica naturale.

Descripción:
El micrófono dispone de un transductor dinámico con
característica direccional omnidireccional, de modo que
tiene la ventaja, muy útil en ciertas circunstancias, de que
la sensibilidad del micrófono queda igual para todas las
ondas sonoras, cualquiera que sea la dirección de que
vienen.
La bobina de compensación en el transductor evita inter-
ferencias molestas por campos magnéticos exteriores, los
cuales suelen surgir en la proximidad de aparatos ali-
mentados por la red y de líneas eléctricas.
El transductor ha sido alojado de manera elástica en la
caja del micrófono, a fin de reducir al mínimo los ruidos
de manejo.
La cabeza de malla metálica ha sido forrada de goma-
espuma, por lo que se reducen los ruidos pop y de respi-
ración.
La caja del micrófono enteramente metálica es de alta
robustez, ya que ha sido concebida para reporteros y,
por lo tanto, para grabaciones al aire libre bajo condi-
ciones muy duras. Es de color gris oscuro, para que no
llame mucho la atención en las transmisiones de TV y de
video.
Utilización recomendada:
El micrófono es ideal para reportajes, donde la característica
direccional omnidireccional constituye tanto más una ven-
taja, que es imposible prever el ángulo de grabación.
Además, brinda un sonido cuya tonalidad no depende
de la distancia entre la fuente sonora y el micrófono, lo
que es esencial cuando se hacen reportajes.
Es cierto que transmite también el ruido ambiental, pero
en una proporción mucho menor con relación al la distancia
útil de la fuente sonora que se quiere grabar y, sobre todo,
sin distorsiones.
