The ALBRECHT precision collet with mechanical pull stop was especially developed for heavy roughing applications. It locks tool
shanks with Weldon-surface according to DIN 1835-B and DIN 6535 HB by using a locking-pin.

Kühlleistung nach dem Spannvorgang der Längenanschlag zu
entfernen.
Safety instruction
Risk of injury at sharp edges (especially at the pin-bore innnerside
& outside)!
General hints: The run-out accuracy of at the Pin-Lock collets can
differ from the collets without Pin-Lock bores.
Collets with „Coolant 2.0“ spec.: for a max. cooling, it´s
recommend to remove the length setting screw after clamping.

Werkzeug einsetzen
Längenanschlag herausschrauben, Weldon-Spannfläche des
Werkzeugs so ausrichten, dass sie auf der Seite der Bohrung liegt.
Jetzt das Werkzeug so weit in die Spannhülse einbringen, bis die
Weldon-Spannfläche im Bereich Bohrung liegt.
Positioning tool
remove the length setting screw, than position the Weldon-
clamping surface on the side of the bore. Now insert the tool into the
collet until the Weldon-clamping surface lies in the range of the
bore.
Stift einbringen
Den Verriegelungspin mit Hilfe des Montagewerkzeugs bis zum
Anschlag in die Bohrung einführen. Achtung: Der Pin darf nicht aus
der Spannhülse ragen.
Positioning pin
The locking-pin has to be inserted with the help oft he pin punch
into the bore of the collet up to the block. Caution: The Pin must not
stick out of the collet.
Werkzeug spielfrei machen
Mit dem Montagewerkzeug den Längenanschlag soweit
einschrauben, bis das Werkzeug spielfrei anliegt. Achtung: keinen
axialen Druck ausüben. Dann Spannhülse mit gesichertem
Werkzeug im APC- Präzisionsspannfutter spannen
(s. Anleitung APC).
Free from backlash
With the assembly tool the length stop screw has to be screwed, so
that the cutting tool is free of backlash. Caution: Mounting without
axial pressure. The collet with the secured tool can now be placed
into the APC chuck (see APC operation manual).
Werkzeug lösen
Mit beiliegenden Montagewerkzeug den Längenanschlag lösen und
den Verriegelungspin aus der Bohrung vom kleinen
Bohrungsdurchmesser in Richtung großer Durchmesser drücken.
Dann das Werkzeug entnehmen.
Removing the tool
The length setting screw has to be unscrewed. The pin can be
pressed out oft he bore with the smallest diameter in the direction
of the big diameter. Then, the tool can be taken out.
