Intended use of 20V Pressure Spray Gun (battery / charger not included)
NOTE: This product is for private domestic DIY use only. It is not suitable for
commercial or trade use.
This 20V Pressure Spray Gun is used for cleaning and watering / water
spraying in a domestic environment.
The Pressure Spray Gun is to be used only for its prescribed purpose. Any
other use is deemed to be a case of misuse.

Additional safety warnings for pressure spray gun
1. The liquid must not be directed towards equipment containing electrical
components.
2. Remove or disconnect the battery pack after use and before carrying out
user maintenance on the appliance.
3. The appliance shall not be left unattended while it is connected to the
battery pack.
4. The appliance is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there are visible
signs of damage or if it is leaking.
5. Keep the appliance out of reach of children when it is energized.
Safety Warnings for battery pack
a) Do not dismantle, open or shred cells or battery pack.
b) Do not short-circuit a battery pack. Do not store battery packs
haphazardly in a box or drawer where they may short-circuit each
other or be short-circuited by conductive materials. When battery
pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips,
coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects, that can make a
connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals
together may cause burns or a re.
c) Do not expose battery pack to heat or re. Avoid storage in direct
sunlight.
d) Do not subject battery pack to mechanical shock.
e) In the event of battery leaking, do not allow the liquid to come into
contact with the skin or eyes. If contact has been made, wash the af-
fected area with copious amounts of water and seek medical advice.
f) Seek medical advice immediately if a cell or battery pack has been
swallowed.

g) Keep battery pack clean and dry.
h) Wipe the battery pack terminals with a clean dry cloth if they become
dirty.
i) Battery pack needs to be charged before use. Always refer to this
instruction and use the correct charging procedure.
j) Do not maintain battery pack on charge when not in use.
k) After extended periods of storage, it may be necessary to charge and
discharge the battery pack several times to obtain maximum perfor-
mance.
l) Battery pack gives its best performance when it is operated at nor-
mal room temperature (20 °C ± 5 °C).
m)When disposing of battery packs, keep battery packs of dierent
electrochemical systems separate from each other.
n) Recharge only with the charger specied by POSITEC. Do not use
any charger other than that specically provided for use with the
equipment. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may
create a risk of re when used with another battery pack.
o) Do not use any battery pack which is not designed for use with the
equipment.
p) Keep battery pack out of the reach of children.
q) Retain the original product literature for future reference.
r) Remove the battery from the equipment when not in use.
s) Dispose of properly.
t) Do not mix cells of dierent manufacture, capacity, size or type
within a device.
u) Do not remove battery pack from its original packaging until re-
quired for use.
v) Observe the plus (+) and minus (–) marks on the battery and ensure
correct use.
w) Use only compatible ALDI Xnity 20V batteries with this appliance
(not supplied).

concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

appliance.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
service agent or similarly qualied persons in order to avoid a hazard.
Additional safety instructions for your Battery Charger
1. Before charging, read the instructions.
2. For charge Li-ion battery pack only.
3. Do not charge a leaking battery.
4. Do not use chargers for works other than those for which they are de-
signed.
5. Before charging, ensure your charger is matching the local AC supply.
6. The charging device must be protected from moisture.
7. Do not use the charging device in the open.
8. Do not short out the contacts of battery or charger.
9. Respect the polarity “+/-“ when charging.
10. Do not open the unit and keep out of the reach of children.
11. Do not charge the batteries of other manufactures or ill-suited models.
12. Ensure that the connection between the battery charger and battery is
correctly positioned and is not obstructed by foreign bodies.
13. Keep battery charger’s slots are free of foreign objects and protect
against dirt and humidity. Store in a dry and frost-free place.

14. When charging batteries, ensure that the battery charger is in a well-ven-
tilated area and away from inammable materials. Batteries can get hot
during charging. Do not overcharge any batteries. Ensure that batteries
and chargers are not left unsupervised during charging.
15. Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries, as they can overheat and
break.
16. Longer life and better performance can be obtained if the battery pack
is charged when the air temperature is between 18oC and 24oC. Do not
charge the battery pack in air temperatures below 0oC, or above 40oC.
This is important as it can prevent serious damage to the battery pack.
17. Use only compatible ALDI Xnity 20V chargers with this appliance (not
supplied).
Important information – Product care
NOTE:
This
Spray gun
uses Lithium Ion Battery Cells. Care MUST be taken
to ensure both the safety and life of the pack is maintained. Ensure you
have read all of the safety notes in the previous pages before using the
Spray gun
.
Treat the battery pack with care and within the guidelines of this manual.
If the battery pack does become immersed in water or any uids, or is
subject to a severe drop or it does not operate within the guidelines of this
manual immediately STOP using the battery pack and have it checked.

Attaching the multi nozzle adaptor (9) (Fig B1, B2)
Pull back the collar at the end of the lance (7), align and insert the multi nozzle
adaptor (9) into the lance (7). Release the collar to lock the nozzle adaptor (9) in
place.
After attaching, gently pull the multi nozzle adaptor (9) to make sure it is locked
securely.
Assembly
WARNING: Remove the battery pack before assembling the
spray gun!
Attaching extension lance (7) to the power nozzle (6) (Fig A)
When attaching, align the two projections on the extension lance (7) with
the grooves of the power nozzle (6), then push the nozzle in and rotate in a
clockwise direction to engage the lance securely.

Selecting an appropriate nozzle (Fig C1-C6)
Rotate the multi nozzle adaptor (9) collar in clockwise or anti-clockwise
direction to select an appropriate nozzle pattern according to your requirement.
Spray patterns 0°, 15°, 25° and 40° are applicable for cleaning. The shower
mode (Fig. C6) is most suitable for watering.
Attaching the 6m hose (11) to the hose adapter (3) (Fig D1, D2)
Directly align and insert the 6m hose (11) into the hose adapter (3). After
the 6m hose (11) is attached, check the connection by gently pulling the 6m
hose (11). It should not be able to be removed or pulled o from the hose
adapter (3).

Attaching your own water hose (optional)
Firstly, remove the hose adapter (3) (Fig E1 E2), then attach your home
garden hose with suitable connectors (Fig E3).
WARNING! It is not recommended to connect the 6m hose (11)
directly on your garden hose or your home tap.
NOTE: Except for the 6m hose (11) supplied, you can also connect the power
nozzle to your own water hose with suitable connectors.
NOTE: Check whether the hose lter (13) screen is missing before
retightening the hose adapter (3) (Fig E2). When retightening the hose
adapter (3), tighten securely (using a 17mm spanner, not supplied).
Otherwise, it may not draw any water for proper operation.
NOTE: The tool is compatible with ALDI 20V Xnity batteries and chargers.
Xnity Battery pack and charger is not included with this product; it is shown
only for illustrative and instructional purposes only.
Installing and removing the battery pack (Fig. F1, F2)
1. To attach the battery align the grooved guide rails of the battery pack (4)
with the raised guide rails on the bottom of the spray gun. A click will be
heard when the battery pack (4) is engaged correctly (Fig F1).
2. To remove the battery pack (4), press down the battery release button
and pull the battery pack (4) away from the spray gun (Fig F2).

Water Sources & Starting and stopping the
Spray Gun (Fig. G1)
1. When you are close to the water source, like a
pool or pond, connect the 6m hose (11) to the
hose adapter (3) and put the end with the hose
lter (13) into the nearest water source.
2. If you are too far from the water source, collect
water in a bucket or convenient container
instead. Then connect the 6m hose (11) to the
hose adapter (3) and put the end with the hose
lter (13) into the container.
3. Hold the soft handle of the spray gun with
your hand rmly. Adjust the height of the
spray gun to make sure the height distance
between the hose adapter (3) and the water
source is less than 1.5m. A distance greater
than 1.5m may cause the spray gun to not
draw any water, or there may not be sucient
pressure. Make sure the hose is not knotted or
kinked during the operation (Fig G2).
Using a garden hose and tap (garden hose adaptor not supplied)
1. Remove the hose adapter (3) (Fig. E1 E2) (refer to instructions on page 12).
2. Attach your home garden hose with suitable connectors.
3. Hold the soft handle of the spray gun with your hand rmly.
4. Turn the tap on.

Starting and Stopping
1. Before rst use: If using the 6m hose and alternate water source, remove
any air trapped in the 6m hose (11) by placing the power nozzle (6)
below waist level and attaching the extension lance (7).
2. Then start the spray gun by pressing the lock-o switch (1) and the on/
o switch lever (2). Depending on the water source, it may take up to 30
seconds for water to travel along the 6m hose (11) and begin spraying.
To stop the spray gun, release the on/o switch lever (2).
Watering (Fig H)
NOTE: It is recommended to use the shower mode for watering.
Cleaning (Fig I, J)
WARNING: Do not connect the spray gun to water supplies that
are dirty, rusty, muddy, or corrosive. (Including window
cleaning liquids, plant foods, or fertilizers etc.)
NOTE: Not recommended for use with salt water; immediately rinse with
fresh water for proper maintenance.
Residual risk
Even if you use the 20V Spray Gun properly per the instructions provided
and following all safety notes, there are always residual risks. The following
risk may occur:
- Accidental Starting: Always remove the battery pack from the spray gun
before carrying out any adjustment, servicing or maintenance. When
not in use, store the battery in a safe, dry, clean environment.
- Risk of uid injection: Do not direct the output of the spray gun at any
person, the operator, or any animals. Never place hands in front of

Maintenance
nozzle, direct spray away from self or others, and always operate in an
area clear of all persons, pets and obstacles. Do not operate the product
when fatigued or under the inuence of alcohol or drugs, stay alert at all
times.
Reduce residual risks by using the 20VSpray Gun with care and following all
safety notes as well as other instructions.
WARNING: Always ensure that the product is switched o and
the battery pack (4) is removed before making any adjustment.
Cleaning
Clean the case only with a damp cloth. DO NOT use solvents when cleaning
plastic parts. Plastics are susceptible to damage from various types of
commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use. Use a clean cloth to
remove dirt, dust, oil, grease etc, then dry well.
Battery Maintenance
To maintain battery capacity, always refer to the specic instructions in the
supplied manual included with the purchase of ALDI Xnity Batteries. It is
recommended to recharge your battery every two months. Store only fully
charged batteries. They should therefore be recharged from time to time.
The place of storage must be dry.
CAUTION! Electrical and battery operated units that no longer
work should not be disposed of in the household waste! They
are to be collected separately, in accordance with your local waste
disposal regulations.
ATTENTION! Batteries must be removed from battery powered
tools and disposed of separately in accordance with relevant
waste battery regulations.
Batteries must never be disposed of with domestic waste!
Please discard power tools no longer usable at a local collection point.
Collection and disposal of packaging materials separately by types
complying with local rules and regulations. For details, please contact your
local council.

Storage and Transportation
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All
tools, hoses and packaging should be sorted, taken to the local recycling
centre and disposed of in an environmentally safe way.
