Zwischen dem PC und dem KNX-Netzwerk ist eine BUS-KNX-Schnittstelle erforderlich, um den
USB-Port an das Netzwerk anzupassen. Für die Verbindung zwischen den verschiedenen Geräten
verwenden Sie bitte eine passende Leitung mit einem TP Twisted Pair (zertifizierte EIB/KNX-
Leitung, siehe Kapitel "Technische Eigenschaften").
Nach den KNX-Anschlüssen verbinden Sie jedes KNX-Modul mit einem Zähler: Bauen Sie
dazu diese perfekt nebeneinander, so dass die optischen Ports genau gegenüber liegen (siehe
Abbildung A).
Es ist möglich, ein Modul aus dem System zu entfernen, ohne die Kabel zu trennen:
1. Ziehen Sie den schwarz-roten Busstecker aus der Steckdose, wie in Abbildung B gezeigt.
2. Dann das Modul aus der DIN-Schiene nehmen.

A BUS KNX interface is required between PC and the KNX network to adapt USB port to network.
For the connection among the different devices, use the proper cable with a TP twisted pair (cable
EIB/KNX certified, refer to the chapter “Technical features”).
After making KNX connections, combine each KNX module with a single counter: place them side
by side, perfectly lined up, with module optical port facing the counter optical port (refer to picture
A). It is possible to remove a module from the system without disconnecting the cables:
1.
Remove the black-red bus connector terminal from its socket as shown in picture B.
2.
Then remove the module from the DIN rail.

Das KNX-Modul ist mit der Software ETS4 und ETS5 (Engineering Tool Software), die von der KNX
Organisation bereitgestellt wird, kompatibel. ETS ist eine herstellerunabhängige Tool-Software
zur Konfiguration, Verwendung, Diagnose und Systemüberwachung von Produkten, die dem KNX-
Standard entsprechen.
Starten Sie die Software und folgen Sie den unten beschriebenen Vorgehensweisen:
1. Wählen Sie Kataloge aus und drücken die Taste Import.
2. Wählen Sie das gewünschte Dateiformat .knxprod und bestätigen Sie mit der Taste Öffnen.
3. Das ausgewählte Produkt wird importiert und in der Software angezeigt.

ACHTUNG!
In den Fenstern der ETS-Software können sich die angezeigten Parameter entsprechend dem
ausgewählten Produkt ändern.

KNX module is compatible with ETS4 and ETS5 (Engineering Tool Software) supplied by KNX
association. It is a manufacturer independent tool software for configuration, use, diagnostic and
system monitoring of products compliant to KNX standard.
Start the software and follow the procedure described below:
1.
Select Catalogs tab and press Import button.
2.
Select the desired .knxprod format file and confirm with Open button.
3.
The selected product will be imported and displayed in the software.

In ETS software windows, the displayed parameters can change according to the selected product.
