Retrospective FX MUTE Footswitch
Modification

Addition of effects footswitch to ZED 10FX
With this modification:
Connecting a footswitch to the FX OUT jack will mute the effects signal when the switch is closed.
The FX OUT jack can still be used as a pre effects feed as before.
Instructions for modification
Remove 6 crosshead front panel screws plus 3 underside and 3 rear panel torx screws
Lift front panel up from back and slide out forwards CAUTION: Do not stress connecting wire
Remove 2 screws securing effects PCB and remove PCB (See below).

Remove knobs, nuts and torx screws from USB + Master channels.
Unplug bus wire and remove both PCBs
On USB PCB replace C23 with a 470R 1/4w through hole resistor (See below)

On Master PCB replace R1 with a 0R 0805 SMT resistor (or wire link).
To assemble reverse above procedure.
