On/Off Button
Press ON/OFF button to turn on/off the ventilator
When ventilator On, backlit LCD display lights up,
When ventilator Off, backlit LCD display lights off.
Without operation for 1 minute, controller enter the auto-lock mode, by pressing ON/OFF button for 6
seconds to unlock the controller

Press Mode button to display different temperatures
Used as the parameters setting button
Press Mode button for short to display RA-OA-FR-SA temperature

Up and Down buttons
Up and Down buttons are used to set the fan speed and adjust the parameter value.
Fan speed setting: under RA and SA temperature interface, press Up and Down buttons to set exhaust
fan and supply fan speed, when pressing Up button, fan speed change from 1 to 10 then repeat, when
pressing Down button, fan speed change from 10 to 1 then repeat.
SET button
SET button is the combination button, under the main interface, press the SET button for short can
check the error of ventilator
Error codes:
E1- OA temperature sensor error
E2– EEPROM error
E3– RA temperature sensor error
E4– FR temperature sensor error
E5- Communication error
E6– Reserved
E7– Exhaust fan error
E8– Supply fan error
Under the error interface, press Up or Down button to return to main interface

Bypass
When bypass is on, the bypass symbol appears, when bypass is off, the symbol disappears.
Filter alarm
When running time of ventilator is over the setting filter alarm time, the filter alarm symbol flashes to
remind user clean/replace the air filters. After filters being cleaned/replaced, please sweep the filter
alarm by setting parameter Number 24, value 1.
Parameter setting
Keep pressing the MODE button for 6 seconds, after buzzing to enter the parameter setting interface
After entering the parameter setting interface, press SET button shortly to change the parameter number,
every pressing will increase 1 parameter number (until number 24 then repeat again). After
choosing the correct parameter number, press Mode button for short, parameter value flashes at the
top right corner, at this time to change the value by UP and DOWN buttons. After parameters setting
then press SET button to save.
Attention:
1) After parameters setting, system need around 15 seconds to record, during this period power should
not be off.
2) Please refer to the parameters table to set the suitable parameters according to different requests.

Commissioning
Please follow below parameters table information to do the commissioning. It is recommended that
commissioning should be done by professional technician, and technician should discuss with client before
setting the correct parameters to the ventilation system.

Parameters introduction
Number 00– range 0 or 1, 0 means power to auto restart function is not available, 1 means power to
auto restart function is ON.
Number 01– this function is not available now.
Number 02 and 03– number 02 range from 5C to 30C, default value 19C is bypass open temperature X,
Number 03 range from 2C to 15C, default value 3C is the auto bypass open temperature Y, when OA
temperature is less than X or higher than X+Y, then bypass off, when OA temperature is between X and
X+Y, then bypass on.
Number 04– range from 15 to 99 minutes, default value 30 means the defrosting interval time is 30
minutes.
Number 05– range from –9C to 5C, default value –1C means in Winter when exhaust air temperature
lower than –1C, then ventilator enter the auto defrosting mode.
Number 06– range from 2 to 20 minutes, default value 10 minutes, this means defrosting duration time
is 10 minutes.
Number 07– CO2 sensor function value, this value is to allow the ventilator automatically change to high
speed when CO2 contraction is higher than setting value.

Number 08–Modbus address, to set each HRU-ERGO ID number when using the multiple controller or BMS
system,
the ID ranges from 1 to 16.
Number 21–to match the suitable program on PCB to the HRU-ERGO model, refer to below table.

Number 22– this function is not available now.
Number 23– please select value 2, 10 speeds controls for HRU-ERGO.
Number 24– multifunction setting, 0 is reserved, 1 means fan running time clearance (to reset filter
alarm time), 2 means all weekly timer record clearance (to reset weekly timer).

Time Setting
Keep pressing the SET button for 6 seconds, after buzzing to enter the time setting interface. Under this
interface, press the MODE button shortly, then can switch from time setting, day setting, weekly timer
on and weekly timer off setting.
1) Time setting: under time setting interface, press SET button for short, at this time “hour” flashes,
press UP and DOWN button to change “hour”. After setting “hour”, press MODE button for short to
switch to “minute” setting, at this time “minute” flashes, press Up and Down button to change “minute”.
After time setting, press SET button to save and return to the main interface.
2) Day setting: under day setting interface, press SET button for short to begin the day setting, by
pressing UP and DOWN buttons to select the correct day, after this finished, press SET button to save
and return to the main interface

3) Weekly timer on setting: under weekly timer on setting interface, press SET button to begin the
timer on setting, press SET button time after time to select Monday period 1 to Sunday period 2
(namely Monday period 1 to Sunday period 2).
After selecting the day, press ON/OFF button to confirm timer on is valid/invalid.
When timer on is valid, press MODE button to enter “hour” setting, by pressing UP and DOWN button to
set “hour”. After “hour” setting, press MODE button to enter “minute” setting. After “minute” setting,
press SET button to save and switch to the next day timer on setting, and repeat the above steps to set
all days and periods timer on. After setting all the time on, press SET button to save the data.
4) Weekly timer off setting: under weekly timer off setting interface, press SET button for short to begin
the timer off setting, press SET button time after time to select Monday period 1 to Sunday period 2
(namely Monday period 1 to Sunday period 1 then Monday period 2 to Sunday period 2).

Under the week interface, press ON/OFF button to confirm the timer off is valid/invalid.
When timer off is valid, press MODE button to enter “hour” setting, by pressing Up and Down button to
set “hour”, after “hour” setting, press MODE button to enter “minute” setting, after “minute” setting,
press SET button to save and switch to the next day timer off setting and repeat the above steps to set
all days and periods timer off. After setting all the timer off, press SET button to save the data.e.
Attention: Under time setting, if no operation for 10 seconds, system will return to the main interface
automatically.
Auto defrosting
When auto defrosting is on, the defrosting symbol appears, when auto defrosting is off, snow symbol
disappears
