The ALTO wireless microphone system AU-800R/800H/800P series is the delicately designed UHF, PLL
synthesized system, with two antennas built inside the receiver for smart switching diversity control, the
higher level RF signals may be fed into the system for greater reliability and coverage, therefore, the risks of
breakdown and interference are to be effectively reduced. By the Auto Scan function provided by the
AU-800R, PLL UHF Diversity Receiver, the operating frequency of the transmitter may be automatically
searched out and locked by the system. Or, you can manually adjust the channel of the transmitter to match
the receiver in case you know about the operating frequency of it. Generally, the AU-800R/800H/800P series
consists of

Settings
1. Signal Generator: 1kHz/65mV.
2. Modulation Meter:
2.1. Tone setup: H: Pass: 3K L: Pass: 50K RANGE: 10
2.2. AF setup: H: Pass: 25 L: Pass: 15K RANGE: 50
Test Procedures and Specifications
1. Switch on power supply (press and hold the key ON/OFF for 2 seconds). LED
indicator turns on, LCD displaysbattery volume and frequency, then LEDturns off.
2. Test CH1, CH6, CH12:
PL2 response power above 5dBm;
PL1response power above 2dBm;
PL0 response power above -4.5dBm;
Harmonic: below -45 dBm.
(Remark: powers on PL1/PL2/PL0 must vary obviously)
3. Input signal (speaking) to MIC jack input, the modulation meter should have output.
4. Tone testing:
Tone signal: 3KHZ±0.5KHZ;
Frequency: 31~34KHZ.
5. Transmitting frequency:
compliant with criterion range
Tolerance: within ±2KHZ.

7. Test Procedure

6.1. Switch the key CH/ON and adjust to proper position, then switch SELECT to
check if there’ s any change.
6.2. Switch the key CH/On to “ LOCK” , SELECH key invalid. Then switch CH/On to
“ UNLOCK” , SELECT key can function normally.
6.3. When in status “ ready” , press SELECT key for 2 seconds, it will enter into
MUTE mode, then all the function keys are out of control, no output from
TONE. Press SELECT function key for a few seconds to release to press
CH/ON to switch off the machine.
7. Display Test: LCD will display differently when switch function keys and check if
there should no be any letter lacked or overwritten on the LCD.
8. Low voltage test: when voltage at 2.0V±0.1V, LCD displays “ Low voltage” ;
When voltage below 2V, it will automatically power off.
9. Total current consumption: current drain 125mA when power @ PL2
10. Switch off power supply (press and hold ON/OFF for 2 seconds), LED turns on.
LED will turn off after LCD displays CH.
11. Recharging Test
11.1. Charge current (when recharging): 160mA±40mA;
11.2. Battery sign (when recharging) in LCD display jumps up & down;
11.3. During the charging process, the "Remaining battery life display" flashes;
11.4. Transmitter stops transmitting power (when recharging)
11.5. LED indicator will flash if recharging completed.
Remark
1. Battery must be loaded when recharging;
2. Only charger (supplied by manufacturer) available.
