installation, operation and maintenance of
the
AMADA
FBDIII-3512/5012/8025/1253.
Be sure to read it carefully before installing
or operating the machine, or providing
maintenance for it, in order to obtain a
thorough knowledge of proper and safe

the
machine

obstacles
which
may
cause
you
tripping
or
slipping.
Put the foot pedal alongside the electrical enclosure when
it is not used.

cleared

people
before
starting

machine

during
operation

overlook

behind

mounting
or
dismounting
tools,
follow
these
rules:
l
Bet
the
lower
beam
leaving
an
opening
of
2
to
3
mm
(0.08
to
0.11’)
between
the
punch
tip
and
the
die
groove
bottom.
Then
turn
the
MODE
SELECT
switch
to
OFF.
l
Never
place
your
hand
between
a
punch
and
a
die
to
hold
the
punch
up.
l
Do
not
forget
to
secure
all
the
clampers
for
the
distance
pieces
and
the
die
holders
by
using
the
snap
shafts
and
the
bolts.
l
Be
sure
to
coordinate
the
work
if
there
are
others
helping
you
with
the
work.

nsure safety

assisting
operators
before
taking
any
action
and
coordinate
.your
work
with

Limit
the
operation
of
the
foot
pedal
only
to
one
operator.

fingers

punches
and
dies
when
holding
small
work
for
bending.
Set the stroke of the lower beam at less
than 8 mm (0.3’) to prevent the insertion of
fingers between punches and dies.

the
springing
up

work

it
is
oversized.

ever
exert
pressure
on
tools
exceeding
the
allowable
pressure
shown
on
each
tool
-
in
order
to
prevent
tool
breakage
and
the
resulting
danger.
When 2V dies are used, use the
V-groove on the rear side of the
machine for additional safety.
B
e
sure
to
confirm
that
punch
and
die
clamp
bolts
are
‘firmly
tightened.
When work must be bent at tin acute
angle, punches may bite into dies and
they may be dislodged and fall from the
machine.
