When using electrical appliances, basic safety precauons should always
be followed, including the following:
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE.
2. Before using the appliance for the rst me, check if the voltage of the appliance
corresponds to the voltage in your home.
3. ALWAYS assemble the appliance completely before plugging the unit into an electrical
outlet. DO NOT begin operang this appliance unl it is properly assembled.
4. ALWAYS ensure the appliance is unplugged from the electrical outlet, has cooled down
completely, and all parts have stopped before assembling, disassembling, relocang or
cleaning the unit.
5. NEVER place the blade assembly onto the base of the unit without rst properly
securing the bowl to the base.
6. ALWAYS ensure the cover is securely locked in place before operang the product.
NEVER try to remove or force the cover open while the appliance is operang.
7. DO NOT aempt to defeat the interlocking mechanism of the cover.
8. DO NOT expose or immerse the base, power cord or plug of this appliance in water or
any other liquid.
9. DO NOT place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in or near a heated oven.
10. Leave approximately 6-8 inches of open space all around the exterior of this appliance
while it is in use.
11. Ensure that the appliance and its power cord DO NOT come into contact with hot
surfaces.
12. DO NOT leave the appliance unaended while it is in use. ALWAYS unplug the
appliance from the electrical outlet when not in use.
13. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near incapacitated persons,
children or pets.
14. Keep the appliance out of the reach of children and pets. This appliance is not
intended for use by children or incapacitated persons.
15. The blades are sharp. Handle the blade assembly with care and use cauon when
aaching or detaching the blade assembly.
16. Avoid contact with moving parts. Keep hair, hands, ngers or any other body part from
coming into contact with the moving parts while the appliance is operang.
17. Keep utensils away from the blade assembly while operang the appliance. A scraper
or spatula may be used but only when the appliance is not in operaon.
18. The use of aachments or accessories not recommended or sold by the manufacturer

19. To disconnect the appliance from the electrical outlet, ensure the appliance is o
(release pressure on the buon and allow components to stop completely) and then pull

This appliance is equipped with a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To
reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will t into the polarized outlet only one way.
If the plug does not properly t into the outlet at rst, reverse it. If it sll does not t,
contact a competent qualied electrician. Do not aempt to modify the plug in any way.
A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the hazards resulng from becoming
entangled in, or tripping over a longer cord. Extension cords may be used if care is
exercised in their use.

Before the rst use
Use
1. Remove the product from the packaging and disassemble the components. To remove
the bowl from the base of the unit, turn the bowl counterclockwise.
NOTE: The bowl may be slightly dicult to remove when the product is new. To aid in the
removal of the bowl, place the base of the unit onto its side on a so surface and then
rmly turn the bowl counterclockwise to remove.
2. Thoroughly wash the cover (lid), bowl, and blade assembly in warm, soapy water. Rinse
the parts and let them dry.
WARNING: Handle the blades with care as they are extremely sharp. Use cauon when
aaching, detaching, cleaning or storing the blade assembly.
3. Place the base of the unit onto a level and stable surface.
4. Place the bowl over the sha and turn the bowl clockwise unl the safety latches of
the container bowl lock into the base of the unit. This prevents the bowl from detaching,
specically during operaon.
5. Aach the blade assembly by carefully holding onto the opposite end of the blades and
insert the blade assembly (blades rst) securely over the center column of the bowl.
6. ALWAYS aach the cover (lid) aer inserng food into the bowl.
NOTE: The cover (lid) must be securely locked into its posion before operang the Mini
Food Chopper. When properly locked, the arrow inscribed on the handle of the cover (lid)
will align with the arrow inscribed on the base of the unit (near the ON/PULSE buon).
Control Panel
This Mini Food Chopper has only one control, which is the ON/PULSE buon. The ON/
PULSE buon is used to turn the food chopper on and o. Push down and hold the ON/
PULSE buon to begin chopping the food inside the bowl. To stop chopping, release the
ON/PULSE buon.

Before Use
WARNING: ALWAYS assemble the product completely before plugging the unit into an
electrical outlet. ALWAYS aach the cover (lid) aer inserng food into the bowl. The
cover must remain on during operaon. Wait unl the blades and metal sha have
completely stopped before removing the cover (lid) and the contents.
NOTE: DO NOT process raw meat, cheese, coee beans, or whole squares of chocolate in
this product, as this may result in damage to the product.
Operaon
1. Cut or chop the food into small pieces, as needed.
NOTE: Hard vegetables, such as raw carrots, may require spling and/or quartering in
order to allow smooth operaon and movement of the chopping blades.
2. Place the sliced food into the bowl. DO NOT ll the bowl past the maximum capacity of
1½ cups for solid food and ¾ cups for liquid ingredients. NEVER overll the bowl.
3. Aach and gently secure the cover (lid) onto the bowl by aligning the arrow on the cover
with the arrow on the base of the unit. ALWAYS secure the cover (lid) into place before
operang the unit.
4. Plug the product into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.
5. Press the ON/PULSE buon to begin chopping the food inside the bowl. DO NOT operate
the product connuously for more than 30 seconds at a me.
6. To stop chopping, release the ON/PULSE buon.
7. Wait unl the chopping blades and the metal sha have stopped completely before
removing the cover (lid) and the contents inside the bowl.
8. ALWAYS unplug the product from the electrical outlet when it is not in use or is le
unaended.
9. Turn the bowl counterclockwise to release the tabs on the edges of the bowl from the
tabs on the base of the unit.
10. Remove the blade assembly before liing the bowl and pouring out its contents.
WARNING: Overlling the bowl could cause spillage, resulng in serious burns and/or
property and product damage.
Helpful Tips:
• For liquid ingredients, place a maximum volume of ¾ cup when lling the bowl.
• For beer chopping control, briey press the ON/PULSE buon and then release.
• To make bread crumbs, break the bread into pieces before placing them into the bowl.
• To use cracker or cookie crumbs as recipe ingredients or in pie crusts, break them into
pieces before placing them into the bowl.
• To chop vegetables (e.g., carrots, celery, mushrooms, green peppers, and onions), cut the
vegetables into about 1” (approx. 2½ cm) chunks before placing them into the bowl. This
will allow for more consistent chopping of the vegetables.
• Use the food chopper to mince parsley, basil, chives or garlic.

Environmental protection
WARNING: To avoid the risk of electric shock, ALWAYS ensure the product is unplugged
from the electrical outlet before assembling, disassembling, relocang, servicing or
cleaning.
WARNING: Allow the chopping blades to completely stop. Handle the blades with care
as they are extremely sharp. Use cauon when aaching, detaching, cleaning or storing
the blade assembly.
CAUTION: Use cauon when aaching or detaching the parts to the Mini Food Chopper.
The chopping blades are extremely sharp. DO NOT use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads
to clean any part of the product. Store the unit in a cool, dry place.
• Make sure the unit is unplugged before cleaning. Allow parts to completely stop before
cleaning the product.
• ALWAYS clean the product immediately aer each use (aer the components have
stopped moving and the product is unplugged from the electrical outlet).
• To clean the product, carefully remove the cover (lid), blade assembly and bowl.
• Wash the cover (lid), bowl, and the blade assembly in warm, soapy water; rinse and let
the parts dry thoroughly.
• Clean the base of the unit by wiping the exterior with a damp cloth or sponge. Dry the
base with a nonabrasive towel. To avoid damaging the product. DO NOT immerse the base
into water or any other liquid.
NOTE: DO NOT immerse the base of the unit in water or any other liquid. The base
contains the electrical components of the appliance. The lifespan of the product depends
on how well it is cleaned and maintained aer every use. ALWAYS follow the care and
maintenance instrucons. NEVER use any abrasive cleaning products on the appliance to
maintain its original nish.
• Reassemble the product before placing it into storage.
• Store the product in a cool, dry place.
Any other servicing should be performed by an authorized service representave. Do NOT
aempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical funcons on this unit. Doing so will
void the warranty.
If you have any quesons or comments regarding the unit’s operaon or believe any repair
is necessary, please contact our aer-sales department.
If the appliance should no longer work, please make sure it is disposed of in an

Al usar aparatos electrodoméscos, se deben tener en cuenta
precauciones de seguridad básicas, entre ellas:
MEDIDAS DE SEGURIDAD
IMPORTANTES
1. LEA TODAS LAS INSTRUCCIONES ANTES DEL USO.
2. Antes de usar el aparato por primera vez, verique si la tensión del mismo corresponde
con la tensión en su hogar.
3. SIEMPRE arme el aparato por completo antes de enchufarlo en un tomacorriente. NO
empiece a ulizar el aparato hasta que esté armado por completo.
4. SIEMPRE asegúrese de que el aparato esté desconectado del tomacorriente, que se
haya enfriado y que todas las partes se hayan detenido antes de armarlo, desarmarlo,
reubicarlo o limpiarlo.
5. NUNCA coloque el conjunto de hojas en la base de la unidad sin antes ajustar el

Este aparato está equipado con un enchufe polarizado (una clavija es más ancha que la

Se proporciona un cable de alimentación corto para reducir los riesgos de que se enrede o
tropiece con un cable largo. Los cables de extensión pueden usarse si se ene cuidado en

1. Saque el producto del embalaje y desarme las piezas. Para extraer el recipiente de la
base de la unidad, gire el recipiente en sendo contrario de las agujas del reloj.
NOTA: Es posible que sea ligeramente dicil extraer el recipiente cuando el producto es

3. Coloque la base de la unidad sobre una supercie nivelada y estable.
4. Coloque el recipiente sobre el eje y gírelo en sendo de las agujas del reloj hasta que
las trabas de seguridad del recipiente se ajusten a la base de la unidad. Estas evitan que el
recipiente se suelte, en parcular cuando está en funcionamiento.
5. Coloque el conjunto de hojas tomando con cuidado el extremo opuesto de las hojas e
insértelo (las hojas primero) con rmeza en la columna central del recipiente.
6. SIEMPRE coloque la cubierta (tapa) después de introducir alimentos en el recipiente.
NOTA: La cubierta (tapa) debe ajustarse con rmeza en su posición antes de ulizar la
miniprocesadora. Cuando esté correctamente ajustada, la echa grabada en la manija de
la cubierta (tapa) se alineará con la echa grabada en la base de la unidad (cerca del botón
de ENCENDIDO/PULSACIÓN).

Panel de control
Esta miniprocesadora solo ene un control, el botón de ENCENDIDO/PULSACIÓN. El botón
de ENCENDIDO/PULSACIÓN se usa para encender y apagar la procesadora. Mantenga
presionado el botón de ENCENDIDO/PULSACIÓN para empezar a cortar la comida dentro
del recipiente. Para dejar de cortar, suelte el botón de ENCENDIDO/PULSACIÓN.
Antes de usar
ADVERTENCIA: SIEMPRE arme el producto por completo antes de enchufarlo en un
tomacorriente. SIEMPRE coloque la cubierta (tapa) después de introducir alimentos en
el recipiente. La cubierta debe permanecer colocada mientras esté en funcionamiento.
Espere hasta que las hojas y el eje de metal se hayan detenido por completo antes de
quitar la cubierta (tapa) y el contenido.
NOTA: NO procese carne cruda, queso, granos de café o barras enteras de chocolate en
este producto ya que pueden dañar el producto.
Funcionamiento
1. Corte o pique la comida en pequeños pedazos según sea necesario.
NOTA: Puede que vegetales duros, como las zanahorias, deban ser pardos o divididos
para que las hojas de corte funcionen correctamente y se muevan.
2. Coloque la comida rebanada en el recipiente. NO coloque más de la capacidad máxima:
1½ taza para alimentos sólidos o ¾ taza para líquidos en el recipiente. NUNCA llene el
recipiente de más.
3. Coloque y ajuste con suavidad la cubierta (tapa) sobre el recipiente alineando las echas
en la cubierta y en la base de la unidad. SIEMPRE ajuste la cubierta (tapa) antes de ulizar
la unidad.
4. Enchufe el producto en un tomacorriente de 120 V de CA.
5. Presione el botón de ENCENDIDO/PULSACIÓN para empezar a cortar la comida dentro
del recipiente. NO use el producto de forma connua por más de 30 segundos por vez.
6. Para dejar de cortar, suelte el botón de ENCENDIDO/PULSACIÓN.
7. Espere hasta que las hojas de corte y el eje de metal se hayan detenido por completo
antes de quitar la cubierta (tapa) y el contenido dentro del recipiente.
8. SIEMPRE desenchufe el producto del tomacorriente cuando no lo esté usando o lo deje
desatendido.
9. Gire el recipiente en sendo contrario de las agujas del reloj para liberar las lengüetas
en los bordes del recipiente de las lengüetas en la base de la unidad.
10. Extraiga el conjunto de hojas antes de levantar el recipiente y volcar el contenido.
ADVERTENCIA: Si llena el recipiente de más podrían provocarse derrames, lo que
provocaría quemaduras graves y/o daño a la propiedad o al producto.
Consejos úles:
• En el caso de ingredientes líquidos, coloque un volumen máximo de ¾ taza al llenar el
recipiente.
• Para lograr un mejor control del corte, presione brevemente el botón de ENCENDIDO/
PULSACIÓN y luego suéltelo.

• Para hacer pan rallado, quiebre el pan antes de colocarlo en el recipiente.
• Para usar migas de galletas o galletas como ingredientes de una receta o en cortezas de
tartas, quiébrelas antes de colocarlas en el recipiente.
• Para procesar vegetales (por ejemplo, zanahorias, apio, hongos, pimiento verde,
cebollas), corte los vegetales en trozos de 1 pulgada (aprox. 2½ cm) antes de colocarlos en
el recipiente. Esto permirá picar de forma más consistente los vegetales.

• Limpie la base de la unidad frotando el exterior con un trapo húmedo o una esponja.
Seque la base con una tela de microbra. Para evitar que se dañe el producto, no sumerja
la base en agua o cualquier otro líquido.
NOTA: NO sumerja la base de la unidad en agua o cualquier otro líquido. La base conene
los componentes eléctricos del aparato. La vida úl del producto depende de qué tan bien
se lo limpia y manene después de cada uso. SIEMPRE siga las instrucciones de cuidado y
mantenimiento. NUNCA use productos de limpieza abrasivos en el aparato para de forma
tal que se mantenga el acabado original.
• Rearme el producto antes de guardarlo.
• Almacene el producto en un lugar seco y fresco.
