Promask Dual Technology ver. 1.2
PROMASK is a Microprocessed Digital Dual Technology Detector. It combines a Dual Element PIR with temperature
compensation, and a X Band Microwave Section with Broadcast Pulse Planar Cavity. Thanks to its special algorithm
it’s able to reach a coverage of 20mt and an angle of more than 90°, ensuring an outstanding immunity to false alarms.
In addiction it’s possibile to set the detector’s sensitivity from 3 to 20 mt. It can work in different configurations, AND:
alarm is triggered only when detection comes both technologies (maximum false alarm immunity),OR: as soon as one
technology detects, the alarm is triggered, OR 2 pulse: the alarm is triggered when a tecnology detects two times.
Auto OR: AND-Type Working Mode with check of consecutive alarms from each technology with relative alarm Notifi-
cation when one of them is switched off .PROMASK is provided with an antimasking control on both tecnology; mask
terminal provided to this. Accellerometer provide to segnalling tamper alarms. (wrench, shoks). The noise function is
special electronic filter to prevent false alarm. Please note that this feature is not certified

2. INSTALLATION
By using a thin screwdriver, push the squared tooth on the bottom and open the housing, remove the PCB from the base by un-
screwing the central screw, use a screwdriver to pierce the knockouts on the side of the base where you wish to attach the detector
to the wall.
- Route the wires and let them pass through the hole on the top of the housing.
- Wire up the terminals following the connections shown in figure
- Fix the PCB to the Housing’s Bottom using the central screw
.Verify that all DIP Switches are in the desired position (see the following scheme)
Remark: The suggested height from the floor is 2 m (5 ft.).
.FIRST SETUP: the detector needs an autotest, that must be done with the cover closed. Then closed the detector , power up it,
and wait that the led finish to flash (about 40 sec.). Now the detector can work.
If necessary turn the trimmer to adjust the MW range, so as to let the MW detect the movements at the distance you need.

Note: because this sensor is equipped with an accelerometer, was taken off the mechanical tamper system. Therefore, the
signalling of the sensor removal does not require any plug-tear
Important: to the efficient operation doesn’t obscure in any way the field of view sensor
Importante: ai fini del buon funzionamento non oscurare in nessun modo il campo di visione del sensore
