AE-G12N MEAT GRINDER OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Operation
IMPORTANT: Before plugging in your unit, be sure your machine’s electrical specifications, printed on the unit’s nameplate, match
those of your local power.
1. Remove the grinder head and wash parts thoroughly. Assemble grinder piece-by-piece onto hub.
Use diagram included in these instructions. Do NOT attach the meat grinder head pre-assembled!
1. Before grinding, manually tighten the thumb screw clockwise until secure. Do NOT use a tool or over-tighten!
2. Prepare meat for grinding by removing all skin and bones. Then cut the meat into appropriate-sized pieces for grinding.

Feed meat into the grinding chamber with the special meat pusher that was included with your machine. Never use fingers,
hands, or any other objects!
4. Equipped with enough grease for several years of usage. DO NOT FILL! If needed use lithium general purpose type grease.
5.
After use, disconnect the power from the unit. Remove and disassemble the grinder head. Wash thoroughly to prevent
contamination. Store grinder head and motor unit separately.
6. If motor quits, use reset button to reinstate the power.
7. To release spiral propeller blockage, use the reverse/forward switch.

Troubleshooting
Note: During grinding, meat should discharge from the grinder smoothly. If the discharge is not smooth, or if it is in the
form of paste, the following causes and remedies should be considered:

POSSIBLE CAUSES REMEDY
Coupling ring too tight Loosen and hand-tighten only until snug. Don’t over-tighten
Discharge plate is blocked Remove discharge plate and clean, then re-install
Blade edges have dulled May be sharpened, recommend replacing
Overloading and motor stopped Switch off and press reset button. Don’t overload

Warranty Information & Record
LIMITED WARRANTY
FOR MODELS # AE-G12N, AE-G12NM, AE-G22N, AE-G22NM
Parts: 1 Year · Labor: 90 Days
All equipment, which is sold under American Eagle Food Machinery, Inc. (AEFM) trademark and used for commercial purposes, is
warranted against defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied. AEFM, Inc.
expressly disclaims any implied warranty of merchantability or expressed or implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.
The liability of AEFM, Inc. is expressly limited to repairing equipment that proves to be defective in materials or workmanship within the
warranty period stated below. AEFM, Inc. expressly excludes liability for incidental or consequential damages to purchaser/owner or
any third party, including but not limited to and without limitation damages arising from personal injuries, lost profits, loss of business
opportunity, loss of property, economic losses or statutory or exemplary damages whether through negligence, strict liability or
otherwise.
This warranty is given solely to the original purchaser/user of the product. No warranty is given or implied to subsequent transferees.
This is the sole Warranty Agreement between AEFM, Inc. and the Purchaser/User. No other agreements are implied, authorized, or
assumed, whether by AEFM, Inc. or any third party.
This warranty is not effective if damage occurs because of accident, carelessness, improper installation, lack of proper setup,
supervision when required, or if the equipment is installed or operated in any manner contrary to the installation and operating
instructions. In these cases, repairs will be made at a reasonable cost. Work performed by unauthorized personnel or unauthorized
service agencies voids this warranty.
This warranty shall not take effect until and unless a properly completed and signed warranty registration form has been received by
AEFM, Inc. within thirty (30) days from the date of installation.
This warranty is expressly conditional upon AEFM, Inc. being notified in writing of any defects in materials or workmanship within thirty
(30) days of occurrence and said occurrence being within warranted time period.
WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS (Items not covered under warranty)
AEFM, Inc. expressly excludes the following items from warranty coverage:
Meat grinder knives, stone, knobs, worm gears, or miscellaneous expendable supply items subject to normal wear-and-tear
Items damaged due to improper use
Mixer accessories and/or motor hub attachments
Periodic required maintenance including but not limited to: lubrication and replacement of worn supply items
Equipment damaged by shipper or freight forwarding company (receiver is advised to file freight claims in timely manner or
refuse damaged articles)
Other adjustments required due to installation, setup, or normal wear of machine
LIMITED ON-SITE WARRANTY: On-site warranty is only offered on items 110 lbs. or more, at a location that is within a 50 mile radius
of a certified AEFM, Inc. technician. Please refer to our product specification charts for weights and measures. For machines greater
than 65 pounds and less than 110 pounds, the machine must be taken or shipped, transportation charges prepaid, to AEFM, Inc.
headquarters in Chicago, Illinois. Labor and parts charges will apply if the machine is out of warranty coverage.
MACHINE PARTS: AEFM, Inc. warrants to the original purchaser/user of that the product will be free from defects in material or
workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of acquisition if installed and operated according to our instructions, OR
eighteen (18) months from the date of shipment from our factory to our dealer, whichever expires first.
LABOR: AEFM, Inc. will, during its normal business hours, or through an authorized service representative, repair or replace all parts
found to be defective under this warranty without charge for labor for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of acquisition.
