In accordance with European Directive 2012/19/UE and Polish legislation regarding
used electrical and electronic goods, this appliance is marked with the symbol of the
crossed-out waste container.
This marking indicates that the appliance must not be disposed of together with other
household waste after it has been used.
The user is obliged to hand it over to waste collection centre collecting used electrical
and electronic goods. The collectors, including local collection points, shops and local

BASIC INFORMATION
Dear customer,
From today, washing will be easier than ever before. Your Amica washer-dryer is exceptionally
easy to use and extremely efcient. After reading these Operating Instructions, operating the
appliance will be easy. Before being packaged and leaving the manufacturer, the appliance was
thoroughly checked with regard to safety and functionality. After these tests some moisture or
water may remain in the appliance. Before using the appliance, please read these Operating
Instructions carefully Following the directions in this manual will ensure proper operation and
safe use of the appliance. It is important to keep these Operating Instructions and store them
in a safe place so that they can be consulted at any time. Follow these instructions carefully
in order to avoid possible accidents.
Important!
This washer-dryer is intended for domestic use only to wash textiles and clothes
designed to be machine washed in a detergent bath.
Before plugging the washer-dryer into the mains, remove the safety packaging and ensure
the machine is level. Description of the appliance in these operating instructions was based
on technical data known on the date this document was published.
The manufacturer reserves the right to introduce changes, which do not affect operation of
the appliance.
Use
lCarefully read the instructions below before using the appliance.
lNever use the appliance outdoors or anywhere the temperature may fall below freezing.
l The appliance should not be operated by children or anyone who has not read the
instructions.
Important! Temperatures below 0°C can damage the appliance!
In the event of the appliance being stored or transported in sub-zero temperatures, it should
be left to acclimatise in a temperature above zero for 8 hours before being used.

Use only those detergents and additives which
are designed for automatic washing machines,
especially when using the COTTON 90°C
programme.
Do not use any agents containing solvents, as
these may damage certain parts of the appli-
ance, or cause them to emit poisonous gases.
There is also a risk of ignition and explosion.
Ensure no unwanted objects are placed inside
the appliance. Completely empty all pockets in
clothing to be washed and fasten buttons and
zips. Place small, loose objects in a washing
bag, or inside a pillow case, as they may be
destroyed or else damage the drum or internal
tank. Do not exceed the recommended maxi-
mum load of washing.
Protect the control panel from
water spillage.
Do not put washed clothes on
top of the appliance!

Unplug the appliance before preparing it for
transport. Do not transport the washer-dryer
if drum locking bolts are not in place. See the
chapter INSTALL THE APPLIANCE (page 8).
Keep the appliance in upright position when
transported.

Do not dry clothes that have not been
washed.
l Do not dry chemically washed garments
or clothing, where stains were removed by
chemicals.
l Do not dry clothes soiled with substances
such as cooking oil, crude oil, acetone, alco-
hol, petrol, kerosene, stain removers, turpen-
tine, wax.
l Before loading the clothes into the dryer,
remove such contamination in hot water, us-
ing a large amount of washing detergent.
l Do not dry articles made of rubber foam,
latex, water-resistant fabrics, raincoats, rub-
ber mats, thermally formed products, clothing
or pillows padded with foam rubber, as they
may melt and damage other items or even
damage the appliance. Please carefully read
these operating instruction before installing
the appliance. Damage caused by improper
connections or use of the appliance is not
covered by the warranty.
NOTE: There is a cooling phase at the end
of the drying cycle. Therefore, do not turn off
the appliance before the end of the drying
cycle. Otherwise, quickly remove and hang
clothes to cool.

NOTES ON SAFETY
Checking stability
Once the appliance is in position and levelled, it must be
checked to ensure it rests rmly on all four legs.
In order to check this, press down each corner of the appli-
ance in turn to see if it moves. Safe, long-term and reliable
operation of the appliance depends on it being correctly
positioned and level.
Important! Level the appliance,
remove the drum locking bolts and wait 3 hours
before using the appliance for the rst time.
Important! Incorrect levelling,
especially instability, may cause the to
move around during operation.
This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and
older or by persons with physical, mental or sensory handi-
caps, or by those who are inexperienced or unfamiliar with
the appliance, provided they are supervised or have been
instructed how to safely use the appliance and are familiar
with risks associated with the use of the appliance.
Ensure that children do not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and maintenance of the appliance should not be
performed by children unless they are 8 years or older and
are supervised by a competent person.
Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless
continuously supervised.
DISPOSAL OF THE APPLIANCE
To ensure safety, the washing machine must be rendered
unsuitable for use once its useful life comes to an end.
First unplug it and then cut off the power lead. Scrap the
appliance in line with local waste disposal legislation.

INSTALL THE APPLIANCE
I. Remove the transport protection (keep the locking bolts for future use,
e.g. when moving house).
lUnscrew the 4 locking bolts with
a spanner.
lRemove the rubber and plastic transport
brackets from the sockets along with the washers and bolts.
The locking bolts MUST be removed before the appliance is used!
lStop up the holes with the stoppers
enclosed in the accessories bag.
-- Do not place the appliance on a carpet!
-- The oor surface should not be either concave or sloping!

entire weight of the appliance rests on its legs (not its body)!
II. Positioning and levelling the appliance
lPlace the appliance on a solid, even surface.
lLevel the machine by adjusting the legs.
After positioning and levelling the appliance,
check that it is stable by pressing down each
corner and ensuring it does not move!
You can adjust the balance of your machine by the adjustable
foot.
lLoosen the plastic adjustment nut.
lAdjust the feet upward and downward by rotating them.
lTighten the plastic adjustment nut after balance is achieved.

A supply hose with seals is inside the drum of the machine.
lOnly plug the appliance into a properly installed socket
with an earth pin!
l Do not connect to an adaptor or an extension cord!
l In the event of the power lead being damaged, it must
be replaced by an authorised technician.
l The electrical system to which the appliance is to be
connected must be protected with a 10 A fuse.

Supply the machine with cold water
- after connecting, make sure the hose is not twisted
- after connecting the hose and the valve, check they are sealed tight
- regularly check the condition of the supply hose.

1. Programme selector knob
Choose the appropriate wash, washing-dry, dry programme as required, depending on the
degree of soil, and type and amount of laundry loaded, which ensures better results and
more effective washing and/or drying. Once the wash programme is started, turning the
programme selector knob to another position (except — reset programme) does not
change the previously selected programme.
2. Temperature selector button
This button allows the washing temperature to be set. Press this button to display water
temperature settings available for a given programme or an option for washing in cold
water (no heating). Depending on the selected programme, the display shows the following
temperatures: --°C(cold water) -30°C-40°C-50°C-60°C-70°C-80°C-90°C.
For the Eco programme you can select the cold water option or 20°C on the display.
3. Spin speed selector button
Press this button to set the spin speed when water is being pumped out of the washing
machine. Press the button to change the setting. Depending on the programme selected,
the display shows the following values: - - (spin off) - 400 - 600 - 1000 - 1200 - 1400.

Level 1 - for lightly soiled clothing. Compared to level 2 (standard), the ap-
pliance takes approximately 8% less water, the duration of the washing pha-
se is approximately 10 min. shorter, the temperature setting is not changed.
Level 2 - standard spin speed, designed for washing medium soiled clo-
thing. Default programme values are applied.
Level 3 - for heavily soiled clothing.
Compared to level 2 (standard), the appliance takes the same amount of
water, the duration of the washing phase is approximately 10 min. longer, the
temperature setting is not changed.

5. Pre-wash selector button / Extra Rinse selector button
a). The Pre-wash function is not available for all programmes (see Table of wash pro-
grammes.
The Pre-wash function extends the wash cycle by approximately 25 minutes. The laundry
is prewashed before the main wash cycle begins. Use the Pre-wash to achieve excellent
washing results without the need to soak the laundry. Pre-wash is recommended when
washing heavily soiled laundry. Pre-wash will be performed at 30°C.
Note! Pour suitable detergent to detergent drawer marked with “1” symbol before the
Pre-wash function is activated.
b). Extra Rinse
The function is especially useful when washing underwear and also clothes for people with
sensitive skin. If you select this function, there will be 1, 2 or 3 extra rinses depending on
customer’s preferences, achieving better rinsing results.
c). The Allergy Safe programme is especially recommended for washing children’s
clothing and for people with sensitive skin. Select this option to add an extra rinse to wash
cycle. Additionally, during all stages of rinsing water is heated to 30°C.
lTouch the symbol button until you see the symbol to activate the anti-allergic
additional function.
Note: If the symbol is not displayed on the screen when you want to select the anti-
-allergic additional function, it means that the washing programme you selected does not
use this feature.

6. Dry level selector button
When you select the drying time the appliance will dry the laundry with hot air at the end
of the washing phase. Select the drying time by pressing the button repeatedly. The time
depends on the amount of the laundry, type of fabric and moisture content.
lYou can select the drying level you desire by touching the drying level selection button.
lLevel 1 ” ”, Level 2 “ ” , Level 3 “ ” symbols shall be displayed on the display
of your appliance when you press the drying level button.
lLevel 1 ” ” :Recommended for laundry that will be ironed before using.
If you would like to select the .“ ” feature, press the drying level button until you
see the “ ” symbol on the display.
lLevel 2 “ ” : Recommended for laundry that requires hanger drying.
If you would like to select the “ ” drying feature, press the drying level button until
you see the “ ” symbol on the display.
lLevel 3 “ ” :Recommended for laundry that will be folded and put to the
wardrobe after the end of the program. If you would like to select the “ ” drying
feature, press the drying level button until you see the “ ” symbol on the display.
Note: If no change occurs when you touch the drying level button, this means there is no
drying level selection in the programme you have selected.
If you want to apply duration drying to your laundry at the end of the washing;
lYou can select the drying duration you want by touching the level-drying button.
lWhen you touch the level-drying button, the screen of your machine will
display level 1 ” ”, level 2 “ ” , level 3 “ ” symbols.
If you keep touching you will see the duration-drying (30 mins, 60 mins, 120 mins) options
on the screen. You can select the drying duration you desire.
Note: If the 30 mins, 60 mins, 120 mins durations do not appear on the screen when
you want to select the duration drying feature, it means this drying feature is not
used for the washing program You have selected.

7. Delay Start button
Start Delay species the delay in hours until the programme will start. You can delay the
wash cycle by 0,5-23 hours. Press and hold the button to set the time after which washing
is to commence. Delay Start Indicator will ash until the programme starts.
8. START/PAUSE button
Press Start/Pause to start or pause a programme. When paused, the Start/Pause indicator
starts to ash.
The Pause mode can be used to soak the laundry.
Once the selected programme started wait for about 10 minutes and then press the
START/PAUSE button. When the laundry is soaked as required, press the Start/Pause
button again to resume the program. Soaking will improve washing results for heavily
soiled laundry.
You can Pause a programme to add laundry to the drum during the wash cycle. Press the
Start/Pause button to add laundry to the drum during the wash cycle. After adding laun-
dry close the door and press the Start/Pause button. The appliance will resume a wash
programme.
Note: If you press the Start/Pause button and the door remains locked, it means the
laundry cannot be added at this stage of the programme.
5+6. Child Lock
This function locks function buttons to prevent settings being changed or operation interrup-
ted by children. The function is activated by simultaneously pressing and holding buttons
(Option) and (Dry Level) for approx. 5 seconds (the display will show an indicator by the
symbol and CL symbol will ash). To release the Child Lock, hold the same buttons down
once more for around 5 seconds.
NOTE: Turning off or unplugging the washing machine does not deactivate the
Child Lock.
NOTE: If you press any button or change the position of the selector knob, the
CL symbol will ash.

USING THE APPLIANCE
II. Start delay setting
The delayed start function may be used when, for example, taking advantage of discount-
ed energy tariffs.
Procedure:
1. Close the door.
2. Set the programme selector knob to the desired programme (see the table further on).
3. Select additional functions and wash or/and dry cycle parameters as required.
4. Press the Delay Start button
5. Select the wash cycle time 0,5-23h.
6. Press the [Start/ Pause] button. The appliance will be set in delay mode.
Washing will commence immediately after the delay time has elapsed.
III. End of the wash cycle
1. The END indicator will ash when the wash cycle completes.
2. Turn off the water valve
3. Set the programme selection knob to .
4. Unplug the appliance from the mains.
5. Open the door and remove laundry.
IV. Cancelling and changing programme
Set the programme selector knob to position for several seconds to terminate a pro-
gramme. Then select the desired wash programme.
I. Select Programme
1. Set the programme selector knob to the desired programme (see the table further on).
2. Change temperature, spin speed or activate available additional functions to modify the
programme to your individual needs.
3. Press the [Start/ Pause] button once door lock is engaged, the programme will start after
about 6 seconds.

SPECIAL PROGRAMS
1. The Allergy Safe programme
This programme is designed for washing clothes of children and people with sensitive
skin. Main wash is carried out at a temperature of 60°C (temperature setting: 60/50/40/30/-
- „cold water”), followed by four rinses.
Additionally, during all stages of rinsing water is heated to 30°C.
2. Daily 60’:
A daily wash programme with a duration of 60 minutes, the temperature setting of 60°C
and a single rinse cycle and a maximum spin speed. Use this programme to wash co-
loured fabrics, cotton and linen. It is recommended to select Extra Rinse and use less
detergent to avoid staining.
3. Rapid 15’:
Use these programmes to refresh clothes. They include all three wash stages:
-main wash
-rinse
-spin
4. Eco 20 programme:
Use this programme to wash clothes at 20°C.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem Probable cause/Solution
The washing machine is not
working
- Turn the tap on
- Clean the mesh lter on the supply hose
- Close the door
- Press the [Start/ Pause] button
Water leaks - Properly connect the water intake.
The load in the appliance has not
been spun
- Replace the load evenly in the drum, clean the pump lter.
Unpleasant smell in the drum - Run a hot wash cycle with detergent and no load
No water in the drum - Turn on the water supply tap.
There is water left in the fabric
softener container.
- Firmly press the button in the middle compartment
Washing not properly rinsed - Add correct amount of detergent,, depending on how dirty the
washing is and the hardness of the water (see the instructions on the
detergent’s packaging).
- Clean the pump lter
The appliance does not ll with
water
- Turn on the water valve
- Check the programme setting
- Check the water pressure
- Reconnect the water supply hose.
- Close the door
- Check the water intake is not bent or blocked
Simultaneous intake and draining
of water.
- Check that the end of the drain hose is higher than the level of the
water in the appliance (the hose should be at a height of 0.6m-1m)
Water does not drain properly - Check the pump lter
- Check the drain hose
- Check the height of the drain hose, which should be 0.6-1 m from
the bottom of the appliance.
Appliance vibrating - Check the transport safety devices have been removed
- Level the appliance
- Secure the legs (tighten the nuts)
Foam from the detergent drawer. - Reduce the amount of detergent used
- Check the water hardness and amount of detergent used, as well
as the type of detergent used in the drum
The operation of the appliance is
interrupted before the programme
has nished
- Check power supply, water supply and water outlet
Noise caused by operation of
the outlet pump after water is
removed
- The water has been removed from the drum, but small amounts
remain in the pump and outlet lead Constant operation of the outlet
pump causes air to be sucked in leading to the characteristic noise,
which does not mean that anything is wrong.
Short breaks during the wash
cycle
- The water in the appliance is being automatically relled
- Pause caused by removal of excess foam
The laundry is not dried or poorly
dried
- too big a load — reduce the load in accordance with the table
- wait for about 15 minutes and resume drying

Pump
lter
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
I. Cleaning the pump lter
Clean the pump lter every 20 washes
or so.
Neglecting to clean the lter causes dif-
culties in emptying the machine of water!
Never clean the product’s casing or plastic parts using solvents or strong, abrasive cleaning
agents (e.g. washing powders or creams)! Only use delicate liquid cleaning agents and soft
cloths. Do not use sponges.
lUnplug the appliance from the
mains,
lTurn off the water valve,
lOpen the lter cover by hand
or using a at-head screwdriver.
lUnscrew the lter. lRemove and clean the lter.
To replace the lter
following the pro-
cedure in reverse
order.
II. Cleaning the water supply valve
lTurn on the water supply hose,
lUse forceps to grasp the lter mesh plunger,
lRemove and clean the lter (using a brush).
